• NPOI set cell style "HSSFFont.BOLDWEIGHT_BOLD" is not working

  I'm using NPOI to output excel from Asp.Net. • Javascript in XSL that is loaded by Javascript

  Is there anyway to have javascript run when a XSL sheet has been applied to an XML file by Javascript? I am using a JQuery plugin to apply the sheet to the xml but the javascript that is located inside of the XSL file will not run. I put the Javascript at the bottom of the file and it still does not run.. I can't seem to get an alert to even run?

  I have a view model that looks like this: namespace AutoForm.Models { public class ProductViewModel { [UIHint("DropDownList")] public String Category { get; set; } [ScaffoldColumn(false)] public IEnumerable<SelectListItem> CategoryList { get; set; } ... } } It has Category and CategoryList properties. The CategoryList is the source data for the Category dropdown UI element. I have an EditorTemplate that looks like this: <%@ Control Language="C#" Inherits="System.Web.Mvc.ViewUserControl<ProductViewModel>" %> <%@ Import Namespace="AutoForm.Models"%> <%=Html.DropDownListFor(m => m.Category , Model.CategoryList ) %> NOTE: this EditorTemplate is strongly typed to ProductViewModel My Controller is populating CategoryList property with data from a database. I cannot get the DropDownListFor template to render a drop down list with data from CategoryList. I know CategoryList is getting populated with data in the controller because I see the data when I debug and step through the controller. Here's my error message in the browser: Server Error in '/' Application. Object reference not set to an instance of an object. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I'm perplexed as to why ViewData.Model is null even though it's getting populated in the controller before getting passed to the view.

In my app I try to get a token from the Google Play services, as described on https://developers.google.com/android/google-play-services/authentication. The Google Play services component is delivered as an APK through the Google Play Store, so updates to Google Play services are not dependent on carrier or OEM system image updates. Newer devices will also have Google Play services as part of the device's system image, but updates are still pushed to these newer devices through the Google Play Store. Isn't "Google Play services" app the same as the "Google Play" app? Another question I have, due to lack of documentation: what is the scope parameter for? The documentation just says the following, but not defining what an 'authentication scope' exactly is: scope String representing the authentication scope.

• How to display different value with ComboBoxTableCell?

  I try to use ComboxBoxTableCell without success. The content of the cell display the right value for the attribute of an object. But when the combobox is displayed, all items are displayed with the toString object method and not the attribute. I tryed to override updateItem of ComboBoxTableCell or to provide a StringConverter but nothing works. Do you have some ideas to custom comboxbox list display in a table cell ? I put a short example below to see quickly the problem.   I'm trying to debug my first app on the device and got this error message, A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found. I've gone thru the Apple manuals, checked SO and other sites but cannot work out what I've done wrong? This is what I've done so far. Got my provisioning profile. I check Organizer and it's there, plus it shows that it is installed on my iPhone (green button). My profile is in ~/library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles My certificate is in Keychain Access In Xcode I have have the Project Info showing the Entitlements correctly. The Code Signing Identity matches what's in Keychain. I've set the Target Info to be the same as Project Info. Have I done something inconsistently?

  I'm having trouble loading a photo for a contact in Android. I've googled for an answer, but so far have come up empty. Does anyone have an example of querying for a Contact, then loading the Photo? So, given a contactUri which comes from an Activity result called using startActivityForResult(new Intent(Intent.ACTION_PICK,ContactsContract.CommonDataKinds.Phone.CONTENT_URI),PICK_CONTACT_REQUEST) is: content://com.android.contacts/data/1557 The loadContact(..) works fine. However when I call the getPhoto(...) method, I get a null value for the photo InputStream. It is also confusing because the URI values are different.   I am having trouble with a DataGridView. I have a collection of 3 Items bound to the grid, when trying to delete one of the items and reload the grid. If have code of If (dlg.ShowDialog() = DialogResult.OK) Then 'Show dialog with grid on it End If On the opened dialog, I delete an item from the grid (which should in turn, delete the item from the collection, and re-load the grid), and it returns to the "If (dlg.show..." line, with the error of "A first chance exception of type 'System.IndexOutOfRangeException' occurred in System.Windows.Forms.dll Additional information: Index 2 does not have a value. " (I have break into debugger set on for common language runtime errors) I can understand this error if i were trying to access any cells, row or columns, but im not, and then I would expect the exception to stop on the line of code that is trying to access this grid data, not the "If (dlg.ShowDialog()... • Problem with bluetooth on android 2.1 (samsung spica i5700) where pairing works but connection does

  I have a Samsung Spica i5700 which I already have updated to Android 2.1. I am using the phone with an application called Run.GPS (http://www.rungps.net). This application logs data such as GPS position, route, speed, bearing etc. It can also log heartrate provided the user has a Zephyr HxM bluetooth heart rate monitor ("HxM"), which I do have. I can pair the HxM to the phone through the standard bluetooth utility. I'm prompted for the PIN, which I enter and the device is shown as 'Paired but not connected'. In the Run.GPS application itself, I click on 'Connect Heartrate Monitor'. This times out after about 30 seconds and the error message is 'Could not connect to heartrate monitor. Please try other settings'. I used a friend's HTC Windows Mobile as a control device to see if the HxM works there. It does. The Run.GPS application automatically sets the baud rate (initially to 9600 IIRC, though the connection also worked with higher baud rates) and it is possible to choose between various COM ports as well as a .Net COM port. I did some testing on my Spica Android, to try to find out why the bluetooth connection doesn't work. Below are some log files that I connected over adb when I clicked on 'Connect to Heartrate Monitor' in the Run.GPS application. I would be interested in any tips (including if I'm posting to the wrong forum here ;-)) - whether or not it's possible to experiment with the baud rate in Android etc. I still don't know if the problem is with the Run.GPS application (I've posted already on the development forum there) or with Android 2.1. I checked out another application - Endomondo - which is also a sport tracking application which supports heartrate monitor only with the HxM. There, what looked like exactly the same error occurred - I clicked on 'Connect Zephyr HxM'. For a few seconds I was shown the 'Connecting...' status, but then it timed out into 'Not Connected'. I'm thus tending towards looking at Android for the problem.   In unmanaged c++ dll i have a function which takes constant std::string as argument Prototype : void read ( const std::string &amp;imageSpec_ ) I call this function from managed c++ dll by passing a std::string. When i debug the unmanaged c++ code the parameter imageSpec_ shows the value correctly but does not allow me to copy that value in other variable. imageSpec_.copy( sFilename, 4052 ); It shows length of imageSpec_ as 0(zero). If i try copying like std::string sTempFileName(imageSpec_); this statement string new string is a empty string. But for std::string sTempFileName(imageSpec_.c_str()); this statement string gets copied correctly. i.e. with charpointer string is copied correctly. Copying this way will need a major change in unmanaged c++ code. I am building unmanaged code in Visual studio 6.0 and managed c++ in Visual studio 2008. Is there any specific setting or code change in managed c++ that will solve the issue?

• Eclipse Hell . . . Failed to read the project description file (.project)

  I think Eclipse is trying to make me miserable. A couple of hours ago, my project was working and compiling well. Suddenly that all changed. Eclipse somehow wipes out all changes I have made to my files(activity, manifest etc.) I make sure to save often but when I go to run the project, I get the error that I have a build error. I checked and there was none, so I go to close Eclipse, so I can reopen and see if the errors will go away. Instead what happens is Eclipse wipes clean all my files and I end up with a project on disk with lots of blank code files. I try to run anyway, and I get the error message below. Failed to read the project description file (.project) for 'com.example.android.nfc.simulator.FakeTagsActivity.FakeTagsActivity'. The file has been changed on disk, and it now contains invalid information. The project will not function properly until the description file is restored to a valid state. Anyone have an idea what in the world this is about and how I can rectify this?

I actually pulled an array [GetStudents] out the service and sent the exact same array back to the service [SaveStudents] and nothing (empty array) was received.
