• SubSonic 3.0 two different Databases namespace Issue

  My question is simple, I have two databases with the same scehema, one is live database say DLive and other one is testbed say DTestBed.... However, I want to use the same database namespace for both database. How can I achieve that without changing namespace in my code all over? Sometimes you need to do builds for live and testbeds in the same day ! Its really hard to change big project namespaces everytime you build. How can I just change the webconfig connection string and get it done? Thanks,

  Say, I have an array with months $months = array('Jan', 'Feb', 'Mar'...'Dec'); And another, with days (say, for year 2010) $mdays = array(31, 28, 31...31); I want to merge/combine these two arrays, into an array like this: $monthdetails[0] = ('month' => 'Jan', 'days' => 31) $monthdetails[1] = ('month' => 'Feb', 'days' => 28) ... $monthdetails[11] = ('month' => 'Dec', 'days' => 31) I can loop through both the arrays and fill the $monthdetails. • Javascript function returning number with two decimals...?

  I have a function to return points along a line and my return comes back with two decimal points...? For example, a return of my variable px will be something like -88.4029.032940598. vx is the x vector and mult is the distance of the line plus distance to calculate the point. Here is the operation that is returning these values: var mult = parseFloat(mag + theUnit); var px = coord_one.x_point + (vx * mult); console.log(px); Never have seen this before- I appreciate any and all help!

  I have these two lists (where the Value in a SelectListItem is a bookingid): List<SelectListItem> selectedbookings; List<Booking> availableBookings; I need to find the ids from selectedBookings that are not in availableBookings. The LINQ join below will only get me the bookingids that are in availableBookings, and I'm not sure how to do it the other way around. != won't work since I'm comparing strings. results = ( from s in selectedbookings join a in availableBookings on s.bookingID.ToString() equals a.Value select s);

I printed the contents of event[][] before for loop and it displays correctly. Could you please tell me why this is wrong? and a possible solution?

  I was wondering if you know of a way I could filter a mysql query to only show the ‘alpha’ characters from a specific field So something like SELECT col1, col2, **alpha_chars_only(col3)** FROM table I am not looking to update only select. I have been looking at some regex but without much luck most of what turned up was searching for fields that only contain ‘alpha’ chars. In a much watered down context...   What would be the best way to merge two arrays of different lengths together so they are evenly distributed in the new array? Say I have the following arrays String[] array1 = new String[7]; String[] array2 = new String[2]; String[] mergedArray = new String[array1.length + array2.length]; I would want mergedArray to have the following elements array1 array1 array1 array2 array1 array1 array1 array2 array1 but if I were to change the size of the arrays to String[] array1 = new String[5]; String[] array2 = new String[3]; String[] mergedArray = new String[array1.length + array2.length]; then I would want it to be array1 array2 array1 array2 array1 array2 array1 array1 basically if it can be helped each array2 element shouldn't be touching each other; exception if array2 has a size larger than array1.

I know this is syntactically wrong but here's what I'm trying to do: (from t1 in TableOne select t1).Count().Union( (from t2 in TableTwo select t2).Count() ) Here's the sql I would like would like to have generated: select count(*) from TableOne union all select count(*) from TableTwo I realize that Count() returns an int and does not have a Union method on it and therein lies my question. Can Linq-to-Sql be written that will achieve what I'm after?

I have two tables 1 . imdb (its for store movie details) id,name,actors,vote 2. ratings (its for store users rating details) id,rating_id(its same as id from first table),rating_num,IP now what am doing is..when anyone rating a movie take the avg of that movie rating by using rating tables (total ratings/number of ratings) and insert that value into "vote" column in first table..my demands this..thats why done like this.. Now my problem is..i want to fetch top rated movies..i mean in vote column which movie have top rating which want to list and one more condition is that that movie should rated by 10 users(use ratings table for that) thanks in advance

  I have two tables, videos and videos_ratings. The videos table has an int videoid field (and many others but those fields are not important I think) and many records. The videos_ratings table has 3 int fields: videoid, rating, rated_by which has many records (multiple records for each fields from the videos table) but not for all records from the videos table. Currently I have the following mysql query: SELECT `videos`.*, avg(`videos_ratings`.`vote`) FROM `videos`, `videos_ratings` WHERE `videos_ratings`.`videoid` = `videos`.`videoid` GROUP BY `videos_ratings`.`videoid` ORDER BY RAND() LIMIT 0, 12 It selects all the records from table videos that have a rating in table video_ratings and calculates the average correctly. But what I need is to select all records from the videos table, no matter if there is a rating for that record or not. And if there aren't any records in the videos_ratings table for that particular videos record, the average function should show 0. Hope someone could understand what I want... :) Thanks!

  I'm currently trying to optimize the sluggish process of retrieving a page of log entries from the SQLite database. I noticed I almost always retrieve next entries along with count of available entries: SELECT time, level, type, text FROM Logs WHERE level IN (%s) ORDER BY time DESC, id DESC LIMIT LOG_REQ_LINES OFFSET %d* LOG_REQ_LINES ; together with total count of records that can match current query: SELECT count(*) FROM Logs WHERE level IN (%s); (for a display "page n of m") I wonder, if I could concatenate the two queries, and ask them both in one sqlite3_exec() simply concatenating the query string. How should my callback function look then? Can I distinguish between the different types of data by argc? What other optimizations would you suggest?

  Hi, I have two questions about jQuery UI Dialog: (1) How can I open a big dialog with topleft corner at my mouseclick point (and if the point is very near the right-bottom corner of my viewport, the dialog will be partly outside the viewport)? I know I can set position for the dialog, but it seems the dialog always overrides my position specifications by bringing itself wholly back into the viewport. (2) If I have multiple dialogs open, how can I find the one that is currently topmost (and if there are several topmost ones that do not overlap, find any one of them)? Thanks!

  In Javascript/CoffeeScript, using Leaflet to display a map, I would like to have custom markers out of a two custom images, and also featuring a shadow for the pin : I want to have a "background" image with a color (or shape) to identify the category On top, I want to have inside this image a specific image (logo) for each pin I didn't find out how I could do that... Setting one image is quite easy but I don't know how to overlay them. I could also consider using a tool to superpose/group/overlay these images (locally ?) before in order to send only one to the Icon Leaflet Class, but also there, I wouldn't know which tool to use. Nevertheless, I still think that a double overlay would be more efficient and that my case could be useful for several people.

• Mail program splits link over two lines

  Hi, In C#, I'm sending a mail with an activation link to users after they have registered. However, the link is split over two lines in the mail and thus doesn't work. I've checked in Visual Studio and the string containing the link looks fine. I've also tried: strMessage.Replace("\r", ""); strMessage.Replace("\n", ""); but without success. • Circular reference while setting up bidirectional communication line between two remote objects

  I'm using .Net remoting to set up a bidirectional communication line between two objects. The basic structure is as follows: Instances of RemoteObjectA call methods on StaticObjectA. Instances of RemoteObjectB call methods on StaticObjectB. StaticObjectA needs to be able to call methods provided by RemoteObjectB. StaticObjectB needs to be able to call methods provided by RemoteObjectA. The problem with this setup is the circular reference in RemoteObjectA gets StaticObjectA gets RemoteObjectB gets StaticObjectB gets RemoteObjectA... I implemented an interface IRemoteObjectA and IRemoteObjectB and had the remote objects inheret from their respective interfaces, but then setting up the remoting fails. If the solution to this problem is: "don't use remoting", I can deal with that. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a simple solution.

All I want is to add them together so that I've got a single array with summed values for each month. Here's an example with three values: [1,2,3] and [4,5,6] = [5,7,9] The best I could come up with was: [[1,2,3],[4,5,6]].transpose.map{|arr| arr.inject{|sum, element| sum+element}} #=> [5,7,9] Is there a better way of doing this? It just seems such a basic thing to want to do.

• Get the sum by comparing between two tables

  I have to tables ProdBiscuit As tb and StockData As sd , I have to get the sum of the quantity in StockData (quantite) with the condition of if (sd.status0 AND sd.prodid = tb.id AND sd.matcuisine = 3) Here is my sql query SELECT tb.id, tb.nom, tb.proddate, tb.qty, tb.stockrecno FROM ProdBiscuit AS tb JOIN (SELECT id, prodid, matcuisine, status, SUM(quantite) AS rq FROM StockData) AS sd ON (tb.id = sd.prodid AND sd.status > 0 AND sd.matcuisine = 3) LIMIT 25 OFFSET @Myid This gives me no rows at all ? There is only 3 rows in ProdBiscuit and 11 rows in Stockdata and there is only 2 rows in StockData good with the condition. And as shown in the picture there is only two rows which give the condition. What is wrong in my query ? PS: The green lines on the image shows the condition in my query.
