  In my code I have the following statement import com.apple.dnssd.*; and compiler (javac) complains about this line. It writes that the package does not exist. But I think that it could be that "javac" search the package in a wrong place (directory). In this respect I have two questions: How can I know where javac search for the packages? I think that it is very likely that I have the above mentioned package but I do not know where it is located. What are the typical place to look for the packages?

  Hi, I had all my servlets and classes in the default package. I have created these and JSP's and its all working fine. However i want to import some of the classes into the JSP's so i moved all the classes and servelts into a new package called Driver. I did not change any code anywhere, just moved it into a new package. The application compiles just fine. • installing glassfish on ubuntu karmic using synaptics package manager

  I'm trying to learn to use glassfish for the first time. My IDE is netbeans and I've installed the glassfish plugin for netbeans. I opened up synaptics package manager and typed in glassfish. My choices were imqv2 glassfish-activaton glassfish-mail glassfish-appserv glassfish-toplink-essentials glassfish-jmac-api glassfish-javaee I'm not sure what is in each package, or which package are needed. I can't seem to find anything that tells me anything descriptive about these packages. I've seen a lot of tutorials on how to install glassfish, but I'd prefer to use apt-get / synaptics to install glassfish so that syntactics can take care of updating.

I use UNC path in package. package is scheduled using sql agent job. • Launching The package installer.

  Hi, I'm looking for a way to automatically start the android Package Installer , after the browser finishes downloading an apk file . Any ideas on this ? Currently after the download is over the list of downloaded files is displayed and clicking on the downloaded apk launches the Package installer . • adding org.springframework.test package to spring-2.5.6-SEC01.jar in netbeans

  This is probably very simple, however I can't get this to work. I want to use AbstractDependencyInjectionSpringContextTest class which is in org.springframework.test package. This package is not included in Netbeans' spring library, so I want to add it. So what I have tried so far is: copy and paste "test" directory (downloaded from spring) into the Netbeans' spring-2.5.6-SEC01.jar file (copy it to org.springframework directory in that jar so I can use org.springframework.test to import it). If I go to project/libraries in Netbeans it is there, but when I try to import org.springframework.test.*; the autocomplition doesn't give me the option to choose test directory from org.soringframework package. create a new library which points to "test" directory and add it to the project- as there is no any jar file in "test" I'm not sure what path should I use to import it. I'm pretty sure this is something very simple but I'm still a novice and can't figure this out.

So you can insert a sub-level such as , continue to build the request, and remember to insert a closing tag". I'm interrested for this application. Do you know if this package exists ?   i'm having a problem loading an image from a package i created in the project that was set to contain images, i have to write the whole picture location in the computer instead of just the package that contains it. i've tried several things but nothing seams to work... where is the command i use to load the image : searchBar = ImageIO.read(new File("C:\\Users\\ASUS\\Documents\\NetBeansProjects\\Project\\src\\Images\\search.jpg")); "Images" is a package in my project , this works, but when i try loading the image without the "C:\..." only with the "\Images..." it doesn't , so i have to change it every time i open this project in another computer. hopefully one of u has the answer for me , thanks in advance for any answer :)

• Implement QoS/Bandwidth Management or Upgrade Bandwidth?

  A question that I'm faced with currently. Here's my setup: Cisco ASA 5510 15Mbps Internet Connection @ $1350/month The bandwidth was originally meant for 35-45 people but we've grown quite quickly to roughly 60-65 people. Needless to say, when I check bandwidth logs it's almost always spiked at 15Mbps. I did use Wireshark to do some poking around to see what was hogging up our bandwidth but with everything running through CDNs and Cloud Services it proved difficult to get a good grasp of where our bandwidth was going. So the question is do I ONLY implement bandwidth management through ASA OR upgrade the Internet to 50Mbps ($1600/month) and then implement bandwidth management through ASA? Any suggestions on how to segment the 15Mbps connection if we decided ONLY to go with the bandwidth management solution? Thanks. UPDATE 1 Installed PRTG and used packet content to monitor the traffic. As I suspected still pretty vague. My Top Connections include the following: a204-2-160-16.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com ec2-50-16-212-159.compute-1.amazonaws.com a204-2-160-48.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com a72-247-247-133.deploy.akamaitechnologies.com mediaserver-sv5-t1-1.pandora.com Other than the Pandora destination, the rest doesn't tell me much on how to properly control the bandwidth.   i've been attempting to script a database using SQL Server 2005 Management Studio. i cannot get it to script some objects. It scripts others, but skips some. i can provide detailed screen shots the options being selected including all tables the folder where the script files will go the folder being empty before scripting the scripting process saying Sucess when scripting a table the destination folder no longer empty, with a hundred or so script files the script of some tables not being in the folder. And earlier SSMS would not script some views. Is this a known thing that the the Generate Scripts task does not generate scripts? Update Known issue on Microsoft Connect, but Microsoft couldn't repro the steps, so they closed closed the ticket. Fails on SQL Server 2005, also fails on SQL Server 2008. Update Two Some basic questions: 1.What version of SQL Server? • Can't remotely connect through SQL Server Management Studio

  I have setup a SQL Server 2008 Express instance on a dedicated Windows 2008 Server hosted by 1and1.com. I cannot connect remotely to the server through management studio. I have taken the following steps below and am beyond any further ideas. I have researched the site and cannot figure anything else out so please forgive me if I missed something obvious, but I'm going crazy. Here's the lowdown. The SQL Server instance is running and works perfectly when working locally. In SQL Server Management Studio, I have checked the box "Allow Remote Connections to this Server" I have removed any external hardware firewall settings from the 1and1 admin panel Windows firewall on the server has been disabled, but just for kicks I added an inbound rule that allows for all connections on port 1433. In SQL Native Client configuration, TCP/IP is enabled. I also made sure the "IP1" with the server's IP address had a 0 for dynamic port, but I deleted it and added 1433 in the regular TCP Port field. I also set the "IPALL" TCP Port to 1433. In SQL Native Client configuration, SQL Server Browser is also running and I also tried adding an ALIAS in the I restarted SQL server after I set this value. Doing a "netstat -ano" on the server machine returns a TCP 0.0.0.0:1433 LISTENING UDP 0.0.0.0:1434 LISTENING I do a port scan from my local computer and it says that the port is FILTERED instead of LISTENING. I also tried to connect from Management studio on my local machine and it is throwing a connection error. Tried the following server names with SQL Server and Windows Authentication marked in the database security. ipaddress\SQLEXPRESS,1433 ipaddress\SQLEXPRESS ipaddress ipaddress,1433 tcp:ipaddress\SQLEXPRESS tcp:ipaddress\SQLEXPRESS,1433

  Hello everyone Basically we are setting up a small Datacenter, about 300 amps power and max 50 racks, Im saying these coz I wanna u imagine the size and requirements, I have studied networking mostly Microsoft and Windows based systems , but I cant get how the IP addressing and DNS management and configuration works in a Datacenter , and unfortunately I have to setup everything by myself but defe we will have some staff to do some job. Now my questions Datacenter IP Addressing Suppose we have got a block of 200 IP addresses from our ISP, How can I manage these block of IP addresses, is there any software out there to simplify this I heard that using DHCP server in a datacenter is not recommended, otherwise what would u say about MS DHCL server ofc considering we need to have backup serversin case of failur How can I assign a block of IPs to a specific rack, I know with different software and management its different but Im asking how it is done normally IP addresses are exposed to the whole network, what if a customer try to use an IP address and is not assigned to their server or rack , how can I prevent this or how can I track the IP usage DNS Management Im goin to setup at least two servers for our DNS servers, I know nothing about Datacenter DNS system, but I have configured DNS server in normal networks and also for webservers, Now I wanna know What exactly needs to be done for a DNS in a datacenter that is not done for normal networks. How can I configure PTR records why cant I configure PTR records on my webserver side DNS server and it should be done on datacenter DNS server , I mean what is the difference in DC DNS servers that allow us to to so , I know the question is very silly and simple but Im confused Is there any software outthere to allow doing the whole thing, I mean automatically add records to the DNS and also managin IP addresses !? • iis 7.5 - WFF and ARR farm management

  We have two test web farms (IIS 7.5). The Florida web farm has two ARR servers and two content servers. The ARR servers have WFF and NLB installed. The ARR setup uses a shared config located on a file share. The content servers do not have WFF installed. There is one web farm, and it's managed on an ARR server. The Illinois web farm also has two ARR servers and two content servers. ARR servers have WFF and NLB installed, and they use a shared config located on a share. One of the content servers has WFF installed, which makes it the controller; it's also the primary content server. Apparently, Illinois isn't properly configured. From what we've pieced together from various IIS.net articles and this post (http://ruslany.net/2010/07/web-farm-framework-2-0-overview/), the controller should be one of the ARR servers (like our Florida setup). The thing is Florida's controller doesn't have a Primary server nor can you set one of the content servers as Primary. It doesn't have the management piece showing the Trace messages when you click the Servers node (from iis console, Server Farms/FLFarm/Servers http://ruslany.net/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/WebFarm8.png). That management piece does exist in the Illinois farm, but that's a bad configuration. What are we missing that our Florida configuration doesn't have the Primary and Secondary content servers, and the management piece? I have looked for IIS role differences, but there are none.

I am very pleased with the Firefox packaged provided by FrontMotion but unfortunately they do not have packages for Thunderbird. sob sob I guess, I could try to do the packaging myself, or do all of the installations by hand :( I did some searches and found very outdated packages by ZettaServe, but no current releases, yet.. I'd like to keep track of info like currently installed packages and their versions which packages are pinned at what version which source (as in /etc/apt/sources.list) they were installed from whether they were installed directly or automatically installed as a dependency of a different package "unknown unknowns": ie stuff that I don't know that I should be keeping track of but which may be important when trying to figure out why something doesn't work In short, I'd like to keep as much of the aptitude database as possible. What's the best way to do this? It would be nice if the resulting records were easily readable, though this is not really essential. It would be extra nice if it were readily versionable through an SCM tool like git. There is a superuser question that partially answers this, but it only provides the list of currently installed packages.

• MacPorts, Fink, etc.

  On my Mac OS X (10.5, soon to be 10.6) machine, how would you recommend I install various software that's been ported from Linux? I don't install such software very frequently, but I've been using MacPorts and it always seems quite slow, presumably because it has to compile the packages on-the-fly. I'd much prefer a package management system that has binary packages, saving me the need to compile things every time I want to download something new. I think Fink has binaries for some of the packages, but I usually see MacPorts recommended as the system to use. Which do you think works better and why? (Or is there another system that I haven't heard of?)

Also there is m23, probably the most usable and interesting peace of manager software. But, what would you suggest to install and use on following configuration: 1) 100 desktop users, against an AD with quest authentication services installed. (ubunt8.04,9.04,9.10,10.04) 2) 50 servers (debian sid, lenny , ubuntu 8.04 and 10.04) We work on different software, so each group of persons need different configurations, each server has different pourposses, nothing is clusterized. And we have a good enough backup software. • Custom built accounts package running on windows vista , printer selection box not now appearing

  This package has a printer function for documents which always brought up the printer selection box from which one picked the appropiate printer. Now recently,almost certainly as a result of windows updates, when I select PRINT nothing happens. The printer is working fine, and indeed a 'direct print' option to the default printer which is a matrix printer works fine, as it does not invoke the printer selection process. Does anyone know if there is a particular setting which might be causing this to happen. It works fine still on all previous windows versions XP etc, but will not work on Vista or later versions. Or is there a program code fix that anyone could suggest. Many thanks Liam

• Installing ethernet drivers with no install package

  I recently got my new Sony Vaio laptop and formatted it into Windows 7 Ultimate. I would like to use the Windows Easy Transfer Tool over a network connection to transfer some of my files over from my desktop PC. Before I do this though, I need to install the ethernet LAN drivers (I'm currently using the built in Wifi). I downloaded the original LAN driver that came with my Vaio originally from the Sony website: http://support.vaio.sony.eu/computing/vaio/downloads/preinstalled/index.aspx?l=en_GB&m=VPCEB1Z0E_B [Scroll down to the 450KB Ethernet driver] When I unzip the package, these files are inside: yk62x64.cat yk62x64.dll yk62x64.inf yk62x64.sys As you can see, no installer. Can anyone guide me through how to properly install these drivers? I have thought of using Google but I'm clueless as to what query to use. Thanks.
