  • SCCM 2012 unable to update boot images with pxe enabled

    we are fighting an error in sccm 2012. When we attempt to distribute boot images (after selecting the pxe option) we receive an error that the pxe image cannot be expanded (distmgr log). Can you give us any direction on what to try or attempt in this scenario? We only have one dp in our environment at the moment, however we have found that by creating another dp on a different server we don’t have this problem. However we really need the primary site to be a dp. We have tried: Removing and reinstalling the dp Removing and reinstalling the WDS Reinstalled the OS ... ouch Reinstalled SQL We even attempted to manually mount these wims in the remote install folder, no luck... Background From the man page for zfs(8): zfs holds [-H] [-r] snapshot… … -r Specifies that a hold with the given tag is applied recursively to the snapshots of all descendent file systems. I wondered whether recent snapshots are treated as descendants of older snapshot.   • How do I get basic ProxyPass to work on Apache 2.2.17?

    I'm trying to get around the ERR_UNSAFE_PORT restriction in Chrome by making Apache reverse proxy other HTTP servers on the machine. I load mod_proxy with sudo e2enmod proxy I add ProxyPass /znc/ http://localhost:6667/ to my httpd.conf I restart Apache with sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart When I open up /znc/, I get 500 Internal Server Error.     I'm trying to add the RRAS VPN roles into my server 2012 box. The error I am getting is: install-windowsfeature : The request to add or remove features on the specified server failed. Installation of one or more roles, role services, or features failed. One or several parent features are disabled so current feature can not be enabled. Does anybody have any insight on having server 2012 running a domain controller and VPN endpoint on the same box? Thanks!
