  • Edit Contact code worked in 1.6 but doesn't work on Droid 2.1?

    Hi All, I had some fairly simple code in my app to invoke Edit Contact activity on a known good contact index that worked in Android 1.6 but is broken for me now in Android 2.1 on the Droid.   • iPhone plist data, large amounts of text and return key?

    Basicly iv built my app using a plist. But with the data there is a few times when I need to press return and start a new line. The return key doesn't work in the plist. If I did it the older way it would be \n\n but that doesn't work either. Is there a obvious way I'm overlooking? Or will it be a case off just pressing the space bar allot? Thanks

    I have a NSManagedObject ObjA that has a many-to-many relationship with another NSManagedObject ObjB. I initialize it with [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"ObjA" inManagedObjectContext:app.context]; When I perform undo without performing save - the object is not added to the persistent store. But - when I add an item to the collection inside ObjA and then perform undo - the ObjA is not added, but ObjB is not, it's still lingering in the persisten store for some reason. Any ideas what am I doing wrong?

If I just created a new column called 'Order' or something, every time I updated the order of one row I imagine I would have to update the order of every row to ensure posterity.   • IE6 Bug - Div within Anchor tag: inline images not links

    I'm trying to get everything in the anchor tag to be a clickable link. Unfortunately, in IE6 (which is the only browser I'm concerned with currently), the only thing that isn't a clickable link are the inline images. I know that it's not valid html to put a div inside of an anchor but it's not my markup and I've been asked to avoid changing it. Any suggestions to altering the CSS to enable the images as clickable links? If changing the markup is the only solution... any suggestions there? My initial thought was to set the image as a background of it's parent (.ph-item-featured-img), although I'm unclear if that will solve the problem.   • UITableView - Select nearest row after row deletion.

    like build in apple notes app, after you swipe to delete the selected row, it will select the nearest available row automatically. The logic should be: if row count 0 then if deleted_row == last row then select deleted_row_index-1 row else select deleted_row_index+1 row end end i have try to implement the above logic in the commitEditingStyle event, but the selection fail. the selectRowAtIndexPath logic just don't work in this event, if i apply it in a button, it works. any idea?

Is there any library/extension to log the requests and parse them, so that log analysis becomes easier and automated. RailsLogAnalyser is good but what about extra calls, what are the conventions? When a user type a url of an existing web page, I read the content of this page and using an ajax call, i display the content in a div inside my web application. Now my problem is that often the content encoding of the existing web page is different than my web app (I use utf-8) Is there a way to load content using an ajax call with different content encoding than the one of the main page?     I'm getting an error when I run the Spree sample data. It occurs when Spree tries to load in the product data, specifically the product images. Expected 0 I've also tried manually updating the Paperclip gem in Spree to 3.0.2 and still get the same error. So, I'm not really sure what else to try. Is there still something incorrect with my ImageMagick setup?
