    in my database , dates are stored in DD-mm-yyyy format , how can i sort this to obtain the earliest date ? Cursor c = myDb.query(TABLE, new String[]{"dob"}, null, null, null, null, "dob"); I have selected it to order by dob field but its not ordered ...     I'm using a plist (array of dictionaries) to populate a tableview. Now, when a cell i pressed, I want to pass the reprecented dictionary to the detail view with a segue. It's working properly to fill the tableview, but how do I send the same value to the detail view?     One day, wordpress suddenly jumped from pots id 9110 to 890000000 post. Days later I'd like to move back new posts to continue from id 9111. I'm sure that id will never reach id 890000000, no problem here, but id is an autoincrement field and "ALTER TABLE wp8_posts AUTO_INCREMENT =9111" is not working. Can I force id to continue from 9111 ?

    I have a controller that takes in a viewmodel and submitbutton public ActionResult AddLocation(AddLocationViewModel viewModel, string submitButton) My view is bound to the viewmodel. The viewmodel contains a list objects used to create an html table with checkboxes. Is there a way to access the selected "rows" through the viewmodel in my controller?     When you ask for a new HierarchyID between two others, the result gets progressively longer. For example, between 2/5.6 and 2/5.7 there's only 2/5.6.1 and other 4 component paths. The HierarchyID data type is limited to 800 some bytes, so you can't repeat this forever. Then again, integer types are also limited, but it isn't a problem in practice. Should I periodically defragment my table so that height doesn't grow unbounded?
