  • Hide or display a button according to row count of a table

    - by kawtousse
    Hi, i have a HTML table and a button send. First of all the send button must have this style: style.display="none". But if the table has at least one row the button should be displayed (block/inline); I still have no idea how to relate between the table and the button. I try to use JavaScript but i should think about a function and I don't found any of it to apply at type table. Thinking about CSS still also hard since I cannot find a relation between the table and the button.

  • Display (tier) prices with qty increments and taxes

    - by witrin
    I need to display (tier) prices based on the qty increments of a product. E.g. a simple product, with a regular price of 50¢, no taxes and qty increments of 20 should be displayed on product views with "$10 per 20". Without using taxes this should be quite easy. But there seems to be no "default" helper or model to do this with taxes enabled and different calulation algorithms (e.g. Mage_Tax_Model_Calculation::CALC_UNIT_BASE); expect for quotes in Mage_Tax_Model_Sales_Total_Quote_Tax and Mage_Tax_Model_Sales_Total_Quote_Subtotal. Did I miss something here, or do I have to write the business logic on my own? And how I would best encapsulate it?

  • display data from tables that contain a null value

  • iOS Display Different Image on Click

    - by user1506841
    Using XCode, I am trying to figure out how to display a different image when someone clicks or presses down on one of my buttons before being taken to a second screen. For example, I have a contact icon on my home screen. When a user clicks the icon, it should change to a darker version on tap before going to the contact screen. Any help is appreciated. -(IBAction) ButtonPressed :(id)sender { UIButton *tempButton = (UIButton *) sender; int tag = tempButton.tag; NSString *viewName; switch (tag) { case 1: [FlurryAnalytics logEvent:@"Contact-Screen"]; viewName = @"ContactScreen"; if( self.appDelegate.sound) [Click play]; [self.appDelegate moveToView:viewName]; break; } }

  • how to display user name in login name control

    - by user569285
    I have a master page that holds the loginview content that appears on all subsequent pages based on the master page. i have a username control also nested in the loginview to display the name of the user when they are logged in. the code for the loginview from the master page is displayed as follows: <div class="loginView"> <asp:LoginView ID="MasterLoginView" runat="server"> <LoggedInTemplate> Welcome <span class="bold"><asp:LoginName ID="HeadLoginName" runat="server" /> <asp:Label ID="userNameLabel" runat="server" Text="Label"></asp:Label></span>! [ <asp:LoginStatus ID="HeadLoginStatus" runat="server" LogoutAction="Redirect" LogoutText="Log Out" LogoutPageUrl="~/Logout.aspx"/> ] <%--Welcome: <span class="bold"><asp:LoginName ID="MasterLoginName" runat="server" /> </span>!--%> </LoggedInTemplate> <AnonymousTemplate> Welcome: Guest [ <a href="~/Account/Login.aspx" ID="HeadLoginStatus" runat="server">Log In</a> ] </AnonymousTemplate> </asp:LoginView> <%--&nbsp;&nbsp; [&nbsp;<asp:LoginStatus ID="MasterLoginStatus" runat="server" LogoutAction="Redirect" LogoutPageUrl="~/Logout.aspx" />&nbsp;]&nbsp;&nbsp;--%> </div> Since VS2010 launches with a default login page in the accounts folder, i didnt think it necessary to create a separate log in page, so i just used the same log in page. please find the code for the login control below: <asp:Login ID="LoginUser" runat="server" EnableViewState="false" RenderOuterTable="false"> <LayoutTemplate> <span class="failureNotification"> <asp:Literal ID="FailureText" runat="server"></asp:Literal> </span> <asp:ValidationSummary ID="LoginUserValidationSummary" runat="server" CssClass="failureNotification" ValidationGroup="LoginUserValidationGroup"/> <div class="accountInfo"> <fieldset class="login"> <legend style="text-align:left; font-size:1.2em; color:White;">Account Information</legend> <p style="text-align:left; font-size:1.2em; color:White;"> <asp:Label ID="UserNameLabel" runat="server" AssociatedControlID="UserName">User ID:</asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="UserName" runat="server" CssClass="textEntry"></asp:TextBox> <asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="UserNameRequired" runat="server" ControlToValidate="UserName" CssClass="failureNotification" ErrorMessage="User ID is required." ToolTip="User ID field is required." ValidationGroup="LoginUserValidationGroup">*</asp:RequiredFieldValidator> </p> <p style="text-align:left; font-size:1.2em; color:White;"> <asp:Label ID="PasswordLabel" runat="server" AssociatedControlID="Password">Password:</asp:Label> <asp:TextBox ID="Password" runat="server" CssClass="passwordEntry" TextMode="Password"></asp:TextBox> <asp:RequiredFieldValidator ID="PasswordRequired" runat="server" ControlToValidate="Password" CssClass="failureNotification" ErrorMessage="Password is required." ValidationGroup="LoginUserValidationGroup">*</asp:RequiredFieldValidator> </p> <p style="text-align:left; font-size:1.2em; color:White;"> <asp:CheckBox ID="RememberMe" runat="server"/> <asp:Label ID="RememberMeLabel" runat="server" AssociatedControlID="RememberMe" CssClass="inline">Keep me logged in</asp:Label> </p> </fieldset> <p class="submitButton"> <asp:Button ID="LoginButton" runat="server" CommandName="Login" Text="Log In" ValidationGroup="LoginUserValidationGroup" onclick="LoginButton_Click"/> </p> </div> </LayoutTemplate> </asp:Login> I then wrote my own code for authentication since i had my own database. the following displays the code in the login buttons click event.: public partial class Login : System.Web.UI.Page { //create string objects string userIDStr, pwrdStr; protected void LoginButton_Click(object sender, EventArgs e) { //assign textbox items to string objects userIDStr = LoginUser.UserName.ToString(); pwrdStr = LoginUser.Password.ToString(); //SQL connection string string strConn; strConn = WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["CMSSQL3ConnectionString"].ConnectionString; SqlConnection Conn = new SqlConnection(strConn); //SqlDataSource CSMDataSource = new SqlDataSource(); // CSMDataSource.ConnectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["CMSSQL3ConnectionString"].ToString(); //SQL select statement for comparison string sqlUserData; sqlUserData = "SELECT StaffID, StaffPassword, StaffFName, StaffLName, StaffType FROM Staffs"; sqlUserData += " WHERE (StaffID ='" + userIDStr + "')"; sqlUserData += " AND (StaffPassword ='" + pwrdStr + "')"; SqlCommand com = new SqlCommand(sqlUserData, Conn); SqlDataReader rdr; string usrdesc; string lname; string fname; string staffname; try { //string CurrentData; //CurrentData = (string)com.ExecuteScalar(); Conn.Open(); rdr = com.ExecuteReader(); rdr.Read(); usrdesc = (string)rdr["StaffType"]; fname = (string)rdr["StaffFName"]; lname = (string)rdr["StaffLName"]; staffname = lname.ToString() + " " + fname.ToString(); LoginUser.UserName = staffname.ToString(); rdr.Close(); if (usrdesc.ToLower() == "administrator") { Response.Redirect("~/CaseAdmin.aspx", false); } else if (usrdesc.ToLower() == "manager") { Response.Redirect("~/CaseManager.aspx", false); } else if (usrdesc.ToLower() == "investigator") { Response.Redirect("~/Investigator.aspx", false); } else { Response.Redirect("~/Default.aspx", false); } } catch(Exception ex) { string script = "<script>alert('" + ex.Message + "');</script>"; } finally { Conn.Close(); } } My authentication works perfectly and the page gets redirected to the designated destination. However, the login view does not display the users name. i actually cant figure out how to pass the users name that i had picked from the database to the login name control to be displayed. taking a close look i also noticed the logout text that should be displayed after successful log in does not show. that leaves me wondering if the loggedin template control on the masterpage even fires at all or its still the anonymous template control that keeps displaying.? How do i get this to work as expected? Please help....

  • iPhone: How to Display Text from UIWebView HTML Document in a UITextView

    - by ArgMan
    I have an RSS feed that gets arranged in a UITableView which lets the user select a story that loads in a UIWebView. However, I'd like to stop using the UIWebView and just use a UITextView or UILabel. This png is what I am trying to do (just display the various text aspects of a news story): I have tried using: NSString *myText = [webView stringByEvaluatingJavaScriptFromString:@"document.documentElement.textContent"]; and assigning the string to a UILabel but it doesn't work from where I am implementing it in webViewDidFinishLoad (--is that not the proper place?). I get a blank textView and normal webView. If I overlay a UITextView on top of a UIWebView on its own (that is, a webView that just loads one page), the code posted above works displays the text fine. The problem arises when I try to process the RSS feed . I've been stuck wondering why this doesn't work as it should for a few days now. If you have a better, more efficient way of doing it then placing the code in webViewDidFinishLoad, please let me know! Does it go in my didSelectRowAtIndexPath? Thank you very much in advance!

  • Display Simple Web Page In My Application Using Blackberry BrowserField

    - by ankit
    Hello All, What I am trying to do is display a simple web page in my application (no javascript,cookies or any scripting and not trying to detect any events such as mouse click etc.). I am using the code below and right now all I get is empty screen .. I know that the application is accessing the internet (the data transfer arrow flashes in the top right corner) but not sure why its not rendering. The code I am using is : HttpConnectionFactory factory = new HttpConnectionFactory("www.google.ca",HttpConnectionFactory.TRANSPORT_WIFI | HttpConnectionFactory.TRANSPORT_WAP2 | HttpConnectionFactory.TRANSPORT_DIRECT_TCP); while(true) { try { HttpConnection connection = factory.getNextConnection(); try { BrowserContent bc = RenderingSession.getNewInstance().getBrowserContent(connection,null,0); Field f = bc.getDisplayableContent(); add(f); } catch(RenderingException e) { //Log the error or store it for displaying to //the end user if no transports succeed System.out.println("error with rendering page"); } } catch(NoMoreTransportsException e) { //There are no more transports to attempt //Dialog.alert( "Unable to perform request" ); //Note you should never //attempt network activity on the event thread System.out.println("no more transport"); break; } } Some points to note: Im using the http-connection-factory class from www.versatilemonkey.com only becuase they have impelemented the abstract httpConnection class. If someone can also point me on how to implement my own that would be great. I am using '0' for the flags for getBrowserContent function. I looked through the rimn documentation and could not find an explanation for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, ankit

  • UIActivityIndicatorView is not display at the right time

    - by Alexandre
    I'm making a form that allows the user to enter datas in my IOS application. This form allows the user to enter a lot of repetive datas. So, sometimes, the process takes time and I would like to display a UIActivityIndicatorView during this process. Unfortunalty the spinner appears only one second or less at the end of the process, not at the beginning as expected. There is some code : - (void) manageSpinner{ spinner = [[UIActivityIndicatorView alloc] initWithActivityIndicatorStyle:UIActivityIndicatorViewStyleWhiteLarge]; [spinner setCenter:CGPointMake(self.view.bounds.size.width/2.0, self.view.bounds.size.height/2.0)]; // I do this becau I'm in landscape mode UIImageView *imageView = [[UIImageView alloc]initWithFrame:self.tableView.bounds]; UIImage *image = [UIImage imageNamed:@"dark_gradiant.jpg"]; [imageView setImage:image]; [imageView addSubview:spinner]; [self.tableView addSubview:imageView]; [spinner startAnimating]; } //On click save by the user - (IBAction)save:(id)sender{ //Collect information from the form myObject.name = nameTF.text; [...] if(informations OK[...]){ //Manage spinner [self manageSpinner]; //Add : this is the long process for (int i=0; i<nbRepeatChooseByUser; i++) { [myObject register]; } //Call the delegate that will dismiss the form [self.delegate theSaveButtonOnTheAddMyObjectTVCWasTapped:self]; } } The spinner is called before the adding method but it seems to be set up after the process. Thank you, Alexandre

  • IE Display Bug, jQuery bug

    - by nute
    So I built some complex ajaxy jquery module on my homepage, with the help of "scrollable" from flowplayer.org. It works fine for me on Chrome, Opera, Firefox ... but of course IE is not playing friendly (regardless of the version, from my testing). Objects are not displaying exactly where they should, some are overlaying each other, and when a click a button some divs just disappear. However, if I resize the IE browser window up and down, the display mostly fixes itself. Then if I click on one of the buttons I made, it messes it up again. Until I resize the window again and it looks fine. To see the problem: Go to makemeheal.com Visit a couple of product pages (you need a product browsing history to see the module) Go to: http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/home.do?forceshowIE=1 Look at the "Your Recent History" module. (note the forceshowIE=1, because by default I hide it for IE people) I was thinking maybe there is a way to force IE to redraw the entire module sometimes? Or maybe someone has a better idea on how to fix the underlying problem? Source code is available here: http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/scripts/recentHistory.js http://www.makemeheal.com/mmh/styles/recentHistory.css Thanks

  • Activity Indicator display in Table View whilst row data is being fetched

    - by Tofrizer
    Hi All, I am navigating from tableview1.row to a tableview2 which has a LOT of rows being fetched. Given the load time is around 3 seconds, I want the navigation to slide into tableview2 as soon as the tableview1.row is selected, and then display a UIActivityIndicatorView above tableview2 whilst the data is fetched and then rendered in its underlying table view. Note, tableview2 is actually a subview of the parent UIView (as opposed to the parent being a UITableView). I've seen this post: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2153653/activity-indicator-shold-be-displayed-when-navigating-from-uitableview1-to-uitabl ... which gives instructions to add the activity indicator start and stopAnimating calls around the data fetch into viewDidLoad of tableview2. Thing is, I'm not sure how the above solution could work as viewDidLoad runs and completes before tableview2 visibly slides into view. Separately, I also tried adding an activity indicator over tableview2 in IB and added the IBOutlet indicator's start/stop animating code into viewDidAppear. What happens is the data fetch runs and I can see the indicator spinning but at the end of the fetch, the table view is empty. Seems like viewDidAppear is too late to add data to the table view as cellForRowAtIndexPath etc has already fired. Can anyone please suggest any pointers? I could very well be missing something obvious here (its nearly 5am where I am and think my brain is mush). Should I re-trigger cellForRowAtIndexPath etc from viewDidAppear? Is the issue that my table view is a subview and not the parent view? Thanks

  • CALayer won't display

    - by Paul from Boston
    I'm trying to learn how to use CALayers for a project and am having trouble getting sublayers to display. I created a vanilla View-based iPhone app in XCode for these tests. The only real code is in the ViewController which sets up the layers and their delegates. There is a delegate, DelegateMainView, for the viewController's view layer and a second different one, DelegateStripeLayer, for an additional layer. The ViewController code is all in awakeFromNib, - (void)awakeFromNib { DelegateMainView *oknDelegate = [[DelegateMainView alloc] init]; self.view.layer.delegate = oknDelegate; CALayer *newLayer = [CALayer layer]; DelegateStripeLayer *sldDelegate = [[DelegateStripeLayer alloc] init]; newLayer.delegate = sldDelegate; [self.view.layer addSublayer:newLayer]; [newLayer setNeedsDisplay]; [self.view.layer setNeedsDisplay]; } The two different delegates are simply wrappers for the CALayer delegate method, drawLayer:inContext:, i.e., - (void)drawLayer:(CALayer *)layer inContext:(CGContextRef)context { CGRect bounds = CGContextGetClipBoundingBox(context); ... do some stuff here ... CGContextStrokePath(context); } each a bit different. The layer, view.layer, is drawn properly but newLayer is never drawn. If I put breakpoints in the two delegates, the program stops in DelegateMainView but never reaches DelegateStripeLayer. What am I missing here? Thanks.

  • Display a Photo Gallery using Asp.Net and SQL

    - by sweetcoder
    I have recently added photos to my SQL database and have displayed them on an *.aspx page using Asp:Image. The ImageUrl for this control stored in a separate *.aspx page. It works great for profile pictures. I have a new issue at hand. I need each user to be able to have their own photo gallery page. I want the photos to be stored in the sql database. Storing the photos is not difficult. The issue is displaying the photos. I want the photos to be stored in a thumbnail grid fashion, when the user clicks on the photo, it should bring up the photo on a separate page. What is the best way to do this. Obviously it is not to use Asp:Image. I am curious if I should use a Gridview. If so, how do I do that and should their be a thumbnail size stored in the database for this? Once the picture is click on how does the other page look so that it displays the correct image. I would think it is not correct to send the photoId through the url. Below is code from the page I use to display profile pictures. protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e) { string sql = "SELECT [ProfileImage] FROM [UserProfile] WHERE [UserId] = '" + User.Identity.Name.ToString() + "'"; string strCon = System.Web.Configuration.WebConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["SocialSiteConnectionString"].ConnectionString; SqlConnection conn = new SqlConnection(strCon); SqlCommand comm = new SqlCommand(sql, conn); conn.Open(); Response.ContentType = "image/jpeg"; Response.BinaryWrite((byte[])comm.ExecuteScalar()); conn.Close(); }

  • PHP Mystery Theatre - HTML Element doesn't display when served with php5, restart server with php4 a

    - by togglemedia
    Get this...I start the server in php5 and a specific HTML element ('a' element with a background image) is nowhere to be seen, I reboot the server in php4 and the HTML element is displaying properly. I boot back and forth between php5 and php4 with absolute consistent results, not displaying in php5 and displaying in php4. The thing that blows my mind is that: the HTML is consistent between boots of php5/4, so both scenarios have the necessary HTML elements the CSS is consistent between boots of php5/4, so both scenarios have the necessary CSS definitions there is an identically styled sibling element, with different class name that displays properly the problem is reproducible between browsers, between platforms. I've tested it on every possible config, Mac/Windows, IE6,7,8, FireFox, Safari etc... When the server is booted in php5 there is one HTML element that just doesn't display/render. A stab in the dark, I turned on PHP error reporting in php5 (to see if there would be any clues there) and low and behold the HTML element is now rendering in php5. I turn off PHP error reporting, and restart php5 and the HTML element is still rendering in php5, and the problem has been fixed...and I can't get the problem to reproduce. This is why my curiosity has brought me here. I just spent about four hours scratching my head trying to figure out how this could be. And now, I ask any php web dev gurus out there...what the heck was this all about?

  • IPhone SDK - Transition to NavigationController display problem

    - by Steblo
    Hi, I am nearly finished with my first IPhone app and everything works fine - except of one very little display bug: My starscreen is an UIView (Fullscreen) without Navigationbar or Toolbar. If I tap on a start button, there is an UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromRight animation that flips to the main navigation controller: -(IBAction) switchViewToMainMenu { [UIView beginAnimations:@"Flip View" context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:1.25]; [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationCurveEaseInOut]; [UIView setAnimationTransition: UIViewAnimationTransitionFlipFromRight forView:self.window cache:YES]; [self.navController viewWillAppear:YES]; [self.startScreenViewController viewWillDisappear:YES]; [self.startScreenViewController.view removeFromSuperview]; [self.window addSubview:navController.view]; [self.startScreenViewController viewDidDisappear:YES]; [self.navController viewDidAppear:YES]; [UIView commitAnimations]; self.startScreenViewController=nil; [startScreenViewController release]; } This works fine except of one little problem: When the navigation controller view appears (flips in), the Navigationbar on top is some pixels too high (the is a white bar where the Navigationbar should be). When the animation finished, the Navigationbar drops down to the right position. This doesn't look very beautiful... Any ideas how to fix that problem ?

  • WebBrowser control won't display an https site that IE8 on the same PC will

    - by Velika
    In IE8, I get the follow warning, but if I choose to continue the site displays properly. There is a problem with this website's security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website. Click here to close this webpage. Continue to this website (not recommended). More information In the WebBrowser control, I get this at first: Navigation to the webpage was canceled What you can try: Refresh the page. When I hit the refresh teh page, this time, I get the same wanting as I originally get in IE8, but when I click "Continue to this website (not recommended)", the page refresh again, displaying the same warning. What can I do to get the site to display in the WebBrowser control as it does in IE8. I would've thought that the control would be using the same core logic and therefore expected the same result.

  • how to display a JFrame from an applet?

    - by mithun1538
    Hello everyone, I have this class called PollFrame that extends JFrame in a file called PollFrame.java . PollFrame contains a form. I have an applet, which has a button in it. When the button is clicked, I want the PollFrame to be displayed. I set the ActionPerformed as: Pollframe poll = new PollFrame(); // This initializes the form poll.setVisible(true); However, when I click the button, I get the following error : Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-2" java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.lang.RuntimePermission exitVM.0) at java.security.AccessControlContext.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at java.security.AccessController.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkPermission(Unknown Source) at java.lang.SecurityManager.checkExit(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.JFrame.setDefaultCloseOperation(Unknown Source) at com.org.pollFrame.initComponents(pollFrame.java:54) at com.org.pollFrame.<init>(pollFrame.java:11) at com.org.EmployeeApplet.requestRoomActionPerformed(EmployeeApplet.java:216) at com.org.EmployeeApplet.access$300(EmployeeApplet.java:7) at com.org.EmployeeApplet$4.actionPerformed(EmployeeApplet.java:71) at javax.swing.AbstractButton.fireActionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.AbstractButton$Handler.actionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.fireActionPerformed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.DefaultButtonModel.setPressed(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.plaf.basic.BasicButtonListener.mouseReleased(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at javax.swing.JComponent.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.processEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.processEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.retargetMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.processMouseEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.LightweightDispatcher.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Container.dispatchEventImpl(Unknown Source) at java.awt.Component.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEvent(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpOneEventForFilters(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(Unknown Source) at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.run(Unknown Source) I am guessing fromt he above error that calling another class file from an applet is prohibited. Is there any way I can display the PollFrame from the applet?

  • How could I make this display for listbox?

    - by baron
    Hello everyone, I have a databound listbox which is actually displaying two columns of data. It is displayed as follows: <UserControl.Resources> <DataTemplate x:Key="AlignedPairs"> <Grid> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="*" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="10" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="*" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Fruits}" Grid.Column="0" /> <TextBlock Text="->" TextAlignment="Center" Grid.Column="1" /> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Colors}" Grid.Column="3" /> </Grid> </DataTemplate> </UserControl.Resources> <ListBox Name="lbStuff" Grid.ColumnSpan="2" Grid.Row="1" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource AlignedPairs}"> <ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Setter Property="HorizontalContentAlignment" Value="Stretch" /> </Style> </ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> </ListBox> Then Itemsource set in codebehind. Based on some logic however, I would like to set either a line or a item in one of the columns, e.g. a fruit to red, or the line to bold. I have code to work out which Fruit or Color I would like to differentiate (by color/bold) in the code behind, but I can't figure out, especially given the custom listbox display, how I could go about setting a particular item to a different color/bold. Does anyone have any ideas? Let me know if any further code is required. Cheers.

  • Custom template for Django's comments application does not display fields

    - by Jannis
    Hi, I want to use django.contrib.comments in a blogging application and customize the way the form is displayed. My problem is that I can't get the fields to display although displaying the hidden fields works just fine. I had a look at the docs and compared it with the regular way of displaying forms but honestly I don't know why the following doesn't work out: {% get_comment_form for comments_object as form %} <form action="{% comment_form_target %}" method="POST"> […] {% for hidden in form.hidden_fields %} {{ hidden }} {% endfor %} {% for field in form.fields %} {{field}} {% endfor %} […] </form> The output looks like this: <form action="/comments/post/" method="POST"> <input type="hidden" name="content_type" value="flatpages.flatpage" id="id_content_type" /> <input type="hidden" name="object_pk" value="1" id="id_object_pk" /> <input type="hidden" name="timestamp" value="1269522506" id="id_timestamp" /> <input type="hidden" name="security_hash" value="ec4…0fd" id="id_security_hash" /> content_type object_pk timestamp security_hash name email url comment honeypot […] </form> </div> Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance

  • How to display NotifyIcon and SSDP Service running during AutoLogon

    - by Paul Farry
    I've got an application (that is targetting .Net Framework 2.0) that is running on startup of the System, and I'm trying to get a NotifyIcon to display. When my program starts up when a user either Runs it normally or is started as a child process after the system has already logged on everything is fine. If my application starts up as the system is performing an AutoLogon using POSReady2009 (basically XP with Single User set). Then the NotifyIcon never becomes active. If you subsequently check (in a timer) the .Visible of the Icon at any point later it always reports that it is visible = true. If you disable the SSDPSrv and restart the Computer, the Icon displays correctly. I have a sneaking suspicion this is related to .Net 3.5sp1 installed over the top of a .Net 2 system. Is there some process that I should be following to ensure that my NotifyIcon is always available to the user. I have setup RegisterWindowMessage("TaskbarCreated") but I don't get this message called, except when you forcilbly Kill Explorer.exe and restart it. Even so, a NotifyIcon interally registers for these notifications anyway, so it shouldn't be required. I'm happy to stall the startup of my program, but once the program starts up, I expect that the icon shows correctly. If there is a KB article that I cannot find detailing this I'd be happy with that too.

  • How to handle ASP.NET application error that occurs on application start and transfer & display erro

    - by Soul_Master
    I know that ASP.NET MVC has error filter attribute to handle specified error type. However, this feature cannot catch any error that occurs when application start. Therefore, I need to add some code to “Application_Error” method for handling this error like the following code. public void Application_Error(object sender, EventArgs e) { // At this point we have information about the error var ctx = HttpContext.Current; var exception = ctx.Server.GetLastError(); var errorInfo = "<br>Offending URL: " + ctx.Request.Url + "<br>Source: " + exception.Source + "<br>Message: " + exception.Message + "<br>Stack trace: " + exception.StackTrace; ctx.Response.Write(errorInfo); Server.ClearError(); } Although, this code will works fine, when normal application error occurs like error that occurs in view page. Nevertheless, it does not work when error occurs on application starting because request and response objects are always null. Next, I try to solve this question by setting default redirect in custom errors like the following code. <customErrors mode="On" defaultRedirect="Scripts/ApplicationError.htm"></customErrors> Unfortunately, it does not work because when application receive redirected request, it try to start application again and it throw exception again. How do to solve this problem? Alternatively, Do you have other idea for handling this error. Thanks, PS. The main reason for creating this handler because I want to display error when application cannot connect to other service like database for caching data on application start.

  • Display XML diferent in JSF (using XSLT or some another suggestion)

    - by Milan
    Hello everybody! At runtime I receive xml document and I want to display it somehow different in JSF. For example: This: <invoker.ArrayOfDictionary> <dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>gcide</id> <name>The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48</name> </invoker.Dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>wn</id> <name>WordNet (r) 2.0</name> </invoker.Dictionary> <invoker.Dictionary> <id>moby-thes</id> <name>Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0</name> </invoker.Dictionary> in this: invoker.ArrayOfDictionary: dictionary: invoker.Dictionary: id:gcide name:The Collaborative International Dictionary of English v.0.48 invoker.Dictionary: id:wn name:WordNet (r) 2.0 invoker.Dictionary: id:moby-thes name:Moby Thesaurus II by Grady Ward, 1.0 I was thinking to do this with XSLT transformation. Some guidelines how to start with xslt? Or maybe you have another idea for this?
