    Hello, I want to know why the flash movie in the header located here: http://www.dolphintemplate.com/demo/dolphin7/index.php?skin=dt_firestarter_red only loads in Firefox but NOT in IE and Chrome..     Hi, I currently have a Rails Apps that lets users drag and drop certain elements of the webpage and updates the application based on the users choice. This is done with the help of the Rails helpers and AJAX. However I keep running into a "NoMethodError" in Ruby.     I've been looking at this for ages now and I cant find anything on the net that provides a solution. When trying to use the tag... ...this is embedded on a tab canvas. The 'Like' button appears when using the app locally, however, it doesn't appear when used on the facebook site. I get this error:- FBML Error (line 264): unknown tag "fb:like" I have FBML enabled in the settings. I've also tried using the iframe alternative with no luck. Any ideas? PS.. I'm using CakePHP

    I get this build error when I build my iPhone project to run on my device: Code Sign error: The identity 'iPhone Developer: x Xxxxx' doesn't match any identity in any profile My development code signing certificate expired so I got a new one. On my first attempt I created a new CSR and got the message above. The second time I reused my original CSR and got the same result. Another strange thing is the new certificate has an extra string with brackets after my name in the "common name" when I look at it using Keychain Access like this: iPhone Developer: x Xxxxx (3BDUAJYC9Q) My original certificate didn't have that. I have Xcode Version 3.1.3 Component versions Xcode IDE: 1191.0 Xcode Core: 1192.0 ToolSupport: 1186.0 Does anyone know how to solve this?

    When I run my MSTest tests in Visual Studio 2008 Team System and get code coverage results, I always see a particular web service included. I don't care how well this web service is tested, I'm intentionally only using a small part of it. How can I exclude the Web Reference from showing up in my Code Coverage results? I see that someone asked this very question over on Microsoft Connect and it's marked as postponed, but I was hoping someone knew of a workaround.

    I have Fedora 11 and trying to get Xen working (which I think it is already) but the Virtual Machine Manager cannot find the hypervisor. When starting Virtual Machine Manager, I receive the following error Error determining default hypervisor. Could not populate a default connection. Make sure the appropriate virtualization packages are installed (kvm, qemu, etc.) and that libvirtd has been restarted to notice the change. A hypervisor connection can be manually added via File - Add Connection I've restarted libvirtd a few times and tried connecting manually but can't work it out.     Hey, We have been using XMLRPC for android and it was working well until we got our hands dirty with Base64 encoding for byte[] (images) -- (we did base64_string.replace("/","$$") for transmission). We have tried undoing the changes and its looking an XMLRPC error.   • How can I set up a 404 error page when people access http://ftp.mydomain.com?

    I am a freelance videographer/developer, and part of my job involves transferring large files over FTP to production houses/television stations. While the majority of people in my industry understand the difference between FTP and HTTP, I've experienced several interactions in the past couple months of people who still open Internet Explorer and try to access http://ftp.mydomain.com, receive an error page served by HostGator, and tell me that they cannot access my FTP server. Instead of spending time delivering instructions via e-mail, I'd much prefer to serve up a custom error page in this instance that instructs them how to download and use an FTP client. I tried setting up a sub-domain in Cpanel hoping I could simply drop in an .htaccess file with the error page, but I got this error: ftp.mydomain.com domainadmin-domainexistsglobal I also tried creating a custom error page in PHP which reads the site URL and serves up the custom content only when http://ftp.mydomain.com is accessed. Unfortunately, the error page works for every subdomain except that one. I'm not entirely sure this is even technically possible, which is why I bring it to the good people of StackOverflow to help.     I have installed the latest hg package available for Fedora Linux. However, hg clone reports an error. hg clone http://localmachine001:8000/ repository reports: "abort: error: Name or service not known" localmachine001 is a computer within the local network. I can ping it from my Linux box without any problems. I can also use the same http address and browse the existing code. However, hg clone does not work. If I execute the same command from my Macintosh machine, I can easily clone the repository. Some Internet resources recommend editing .hgrc file, and adding proxy to it: [http_proxy] host=proxy:8080 I have tried that without any success. Also, I assume that proxy is not needed in this case, since the hg server machine is in my local network. Can anyone recommend me what should I do, or how could I track the problem?     Hi there. After a couple of weeks reading on this forum I thought it was time for me to do my first post. I'm currently rereading Code Complete. I think it's 15 years since the last time, and I find that I still can't write code ;-) Anyway on page 138 in Code Complete you find this coding horror example. (I have removed some of the code) class Emplyee { public: FullName GetName() const; Address GetAddress() const; PhoneNumber GetWorkPhone() const; ... bool IsZipCodeValid( Address address); ... private: ... } What Steve thinks is bad is that the functions are loosely related. Or has he writes "There's no logical connection between employees and routines that check ZIP codes, phone numbers or job classifications" Ok I totally agree with him. Maybe something like the below example is better. class ZipCode { public: bool IsValid() const; ... } class Address { public: ZipCode GetZipCode() const; ... } class Employee { public: Address GetAddress() const; ... } When checking if the zip is valid you would need to do something like this. employee.GetAddress().GetZipCode().IsValid(); And that is not good regarding to the Law of Demeter ([http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_of_Demeter][1]). So if you like to remove two of the three dots, you need to use delegation and a couple of wrapper functions like this. class ZipCode { public: bool IsValid(); } class Address { public: ZipCode GetZipCode() const; bool IsZipCodeValid() {return GetZipCode()->IsValid()); } class Employee { public: FullName GetName() const; Address GetAddress() const; bool IsZipCodeValid() {return GetAddress()->IsZipCodeValid()); PhoneNumber GetWorkPhone() const; } employee.IsZipCodeValid(); But then again you have routines that has no logical connection.     I have written an iPhone and iPad universal app which runs fine in the iPad simulator on Xcode, but I would now like to test the iPhone functionality. I seem unable to run the iPhone simulator with this code as it always defaults to the iPad? Instead I tried to run on the device and as it begins to run I get the following error: dyld: Symbol not found: _OBJC_CLASS_$_UISplitViewController Referenced from: /var/mobile/Applications/9770ACFA-0B88-41D4-AF56-77B66B324640/Test.app/Test Expected in: /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/UIKit in /var/mobile/Applications/9770ACFA-0B88-41D4-AF56-77B66B324640/Test.app/TEST As the App is built programmatically rather than using XIB's, I've split the 2 device logics using the following lines in the main.m method: if (UI_USER_INTERFACE_IDIOM() == UIUserInterfaceIdiomPad) { retVal = UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, @"AppDelegate_Pad"); } else { retVal = UIApplicationMain(argc, argv, nil, @"AppDelegate_Phone"); } From that point forth they use different AppDelegates and I've checked my headers to ensure the UISplitView is never used nor imported via the Phone logic. How do I avoid this error and is there a better way to split the universal logic paths in this programmatically-created app?

    ReSharper Code cleanup feature (with "reorder members" and "reformat code" enabled) is really great. You define a layout template using XML, then a simple key combination reorganizes your whole source file (or folder/project/solution) according to the rules you set in the template. Anyway, do you think that could be a problem regarding VCS like subversion, cvs, git, etc. ? Is there a chance that it causes many undesired conflicts ? Thank you.
