  same as in title? I have a test server with mentioned OS and my app is .net 3.5 based. I do want to know if win 2008 r2 comes with service pack 1 for .net 3.5 from the box. And does it come with .net 3.5 sp1 family update as WELL, since after I downloaded the update, the installer says I do not have software required to update. Could some win 2008 guru perhaps explain it to me? thanks luke

  I was using xampp to develop locally and then I installed the PHP from the direct installer. Now in some of my PHP code, only PHP code that starts with "<?php" is correctly parsed. Anything that starts with "<?" or "<?=" is completely ignored and just left as is. How can I adjust the configuration to parse either tokens?

• C# Reading the registry and Wow6432Node key

  Hi all, I have come code that reads the registry and looks for a value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\App\ but when running on 64bit versions of Windows the value is under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\App. How should I best approach this? Do I need a 64bit installer or should I rewrite my code to detect both places? Thanks

It seems that my app need the VC redistribuables : http://www.py2exe.org/index.cgi/Tutorial#Step5 I've read this tutorial and the redistribuables license agreement and I am not sure if I can freely redistribute these files with my program.   I can't run a debug sdk application because it requires both VC 8 and VC 9 versions of the CRT. But it only requires visual studio 2008 for plugin dev, which is what I need.   Hello, Since when I installed Screwturn I used Web Plateform Installer, I though I'd need to go through Control Panel to uninstall it. But, I saw nothing in the Install/Uninstall section of the control. Rather, I found all the ScrewTurn resources inside the C:\inetpub folder. Clearing everything inside that folder would help get rid of SrewTurn as I didn't copy/paste it there but the WPI did it for me? No side effect to be feared? Thanks for helping
