    I'm writing some JDBC code which calls a Oracle 11g PL/SQL procdedure which has a Custom Object return type. I can get the code to call the procedure, but how do I access the returned Custom Object to obtain it's contained values?. An example of my code calling the procedure is below: PLSQL Code: Procedure GetDataSummary (p_my_key IN KEYS.MY_KEY%TYPE, p_recordset OUT data_summary_tab, p_status OUT VARCHAR2); Java Code: String query = "begin manageroleviewdata.getdatasummary(?, ?, ?); end;"); CallableStatement stmt = conn.prepareCall(query); stmt.setInt(1, 83); stmt.registerOutParameter(2, OracleTypes.ARRAY, "DATA_SUMMARY_TAB"); stmt.registerOutParameter(3, OracleTypes.VARCHAR); stmt.execute(stmt); How do I get the result back fron this?

If NTFS has been successfully reverse engineered to a useful degree, then why is the kernel driver still only read-only, with write support being very dangerous.....just as it was 5 years agi?

    i'm trying to connect to *.dbf (dBase III) file on my Java application, running on a Windows Server 2003 system. I'm encountering this error and I cannot really understand the meaning (sources for OdbcJdbc.java seems to be unavailable): [Microsoft][ODBC dBase driver] '(unknown)' is not a valid path error Class.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver"); String database = "jdbc:odbc:DRIVER={Microsoft dBase Driver(*.dbf)};DBQ=D:\\dbNeri\\CARISTAT;"; Connection conn = DriverManager.getConnection(database); Statement s = conn.createStatement(); String selTable = "SELECT * FROM CARISTAT"; Does it exists a JDBC driver able to connect to dBase files or do I have to import external libraries to do the magic?   • Calling an Oracle PL/SQL procedure with Custom Object return types from 0jdbc6 JDBCthin drivers

    I'm writing some JDBC code which calls a Oracle 11g PL/SQL procdedure which has a Custom Object return type. Whenever I try an register my return types, I get either ORA-03115 or PLS-00306 as an error when the statement is executed depending on the type I set. An example is below: PLSQL Code: Procedure GetDataSummary (p_my_key IN KEYS.MY_KEY%TYPE, p_recordset OUT data_summary_tab, p_status OUT VARCHAR2); Java Code: String query = "beginmanageroleviewdata.getdatasummary(?, ?, ?); end;"); CallableStatement stmt = conn.prepareCall(query); stmt.setInt(1, 83); stmt.registerOutParameter(2, OracleTypes.CURSOR); // Causes error: PLS-00306 stmt.registerOutParameter(3, OracleTypes.VARCHAR); stmt.execute(stmt); // Error mentioned above thrown here. Can anyone provide me with an example showing how I can do this? I guess it's possible. However I can't see a rowset OracleType. CURSOR, REF, DATALINK, and more fail.     I´ve made a "main" class lets call it A(Veichle), and i have two classes that inherits from A Lets call them B(Car) and C(MC). i also have a handler lets call it "D" that binds A,B and C. Then i have the Form1 class lets call that E(Visual) I want to print out the private members from A on the visual form "E" in a Listbox If i try ex) this-listbox1-items-add(X.veichles[i]-getBrand()); it complains that veichles is a private member in D. How can i get around that?

    Hi, I have incorporated tinymce into my application. When i execute the jsp standalone, the print size seem consistent to what it should be i.e. 12Pt comes out as 12pt. Whereas when i run the same jsp from oracle developer using oracle application server 12pt comes out to be more like 8pt. Any thoughts. Please share any pointers. Thanks, Ashok

    Hello, I'm looking to write a command-line program that can execute database scripts against an Oracle server, however the machine the program will be run on may not have an Oracle client installed on it. I also don't want to rely on a language that requires a VM as there's no guarantee that the VM will be installed, so a language like C is preferable for this. Is there a way that I can statically compile/build this program and not have to have the user install the Oracle client on that machine? I'm trying to be as unobtrusive as possible. Thanks.
