    I have jsut started to use tSQLt and is about to test a trigger. I call the FakeTable procedure and do my test but the trigger is not executed. If don't use FakeTable the trigger is executed. That seems to be really bad and I canät find any info that there is any method to readded them. Then I thought the triggers are removed by FakeTable but I can recreate them after the call and did the following code in my test: DECLARE @createTrigger NVARCHAR(MAX); SELECT @createTrigger = OBJECT_DEFINITION(OBJECT_ID('MoveDataFromAToB')) EXEC tSQLt.FakeTable 'dbo.A'; EXEC(@createTrigger); I got the following error: "There is already an object named 'MoveDataFromAToB' in the database.{MoveDataFromAToB,14} (There was also a ROLLBACK ERROR -- The current transaction cannot be committed and cannot be rolled back to a savepoint. Roll back the entire transaction.{Private_RunTest,60})" Anyone that have any experience with tSQLt and know anyworkaround for this problem?

    I have a LINQ statement like this: var media = (from p in postService.GetMedia(postId) select new { PostId = postId, SynthId = p.SynthId }); There are many(possibly thousands) of records returned with the same SynthId. I want to select one one, any random one. So when I'm finished, media should contain records with distinct SynthId. SynthId can be null, I want all nulls to be in media (the distinct should not affect them). My DAL is EntityFramework, if that will help. How do I accomplish this in the most efficient way?

    .NET newbie alert Using Visual C# 2008 Express Edition I have accidentally created a click event for a button. I then deleted the automatically-created method code, which resulted in an error saying that the function, which had now been referenced in the form loading code, could no longer be found. Deleting the following line from the Form1.Designer.cs file's InitializeComponent() function... this.btnCopy.Click += new System.EventHandler(this.btnCopy_Click); ... seems to do the trick, however, it makes me feel very dirty because of the following warning at the beginning of the #region: /// Required method for Designer support - do not modify /// the contents of this method with the code editor. I haven't been able to find a way to do this using the form designer, which I assume is the means implied by this warning. What is the correct way to do this?

"," " " ...many more...]) ... and a vector of strings: (def strings ["the movie list" "this.is.a.string" "haha :)" ...many more...]) So, each forbidden word should be removed from each string, and the result, in this case, would be: ["movie list" "thisisastring" "haha"].   • iPhone OS: Tap status bar to scroll to top doesn't work after remove/add back

    Using this method to hide the status bar: [[UIApplication sharedApplication] setStatusBarHidden:YES animated:YES]; When setting "hidden" back to NO, the tap-to-scroll-to-top (in UIWebView, UITableView, whatever) doesn't work any more, and requires a restart of the app to get the functionality back. Is this a bug (I filed a rdar anyhow) or have I missed a step? Should I perhaps expect this behavior since the statusBar "loses touch" somehow with the respective view?

    I have two tables, tableA and tableB, linked through a locationID. TableA has descriptive survey info with each record from a different time (ie unique), while TableB has purely locational information. However, there are lots of duplicates in TableB, yet each has a unique locationID, which has an entry in TableA. I've found plenty posts about removing duplicates from TableB, but how can I update the locationIDs in TableA so they are linked to the unique locations in TableB once duplicates are removed... Help much appreciated!

  • Algorithm: efficient way to remove duplicate integers from an array

    I got this problem from an interview with Microsoft. Given an array of random integers, write an algorithm in C that removes duplicated numbers and return the unique numbers in the original array. E.g Input: {4, 8, 4, 1, 1, 2, 9} Output: {4, 8, 1, 2, 9, ?, ?} One caveat is that the expected algorithm should not required the array to be sorted first. And when an element has been removed, the following elements must be shifted forward as well. Anyway, value of elements at the tail of the array where elements were shifted forward are negligible. Update: The result must be returned in the original array and helper data structure (e.g. hashtable) should not be used. However, I guess order preservation is not necessary. Update2: For those who wonder why these impractical constraints, this was an interview question and all these constraints are discussed during the thinking process to see how I can come up with different ideas.

I have a simple C# application that allows users to specify that it should be (or should not be) started with Windows; it does so by setting (or deleting) a registry key (namely, ...\Software\Microsoft\CurrentVersion\Run\MyApplicationHere). I am using a VS setup project to create the installer for this program. I don't want the installer to create this key; it should only be created when the user selects the option from within the program. Here is the issue: I would like the uninstaller to delete this key if it exists, preferably without resorting to any sort of hackery; if there is a simple "built-in" solution I would love to hear it. So, when I add 10000 elements to a map, and after that call map.clear(), it will keep 10000 nulls in it's internal array. So, my question is, how does JVM handle this array of nothing, and thus, is HashMap memory effective?
