• Using image resource in XAML markup?

  I'm trying to add little icons to my tabs in WPF but having trouble with how to set up the binding. <TabItem.Header> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal"> <Image Source="{Binding Source=prop:Resources.eye}" /> <Label VerticalAlignment="Center">Header</Label> </StackPanel> </TabItem.Header> The xmlns:prop is set up for the local project's Properties, I am pulling other values from it elsewhere so I know that the namespace works. The markup above compiles fine BUT I don't see the eye image in the tab. Also, is there any way to set this up into a template? I'm fairly new to XAML/WPF and each tab will have its own image...

  Hi, I have all written code and i want to this code standarise by php code sniffer. I would like to know what is the best way to start with it . I had installed it but when i run the command phpcs /path/to/code/myfile.php in the command line i got the last one hundered line error from 310 to 410 . but if i want to see the starting errors of any line error how can i see that . Mostly errors are 322 | ERROR | Spaces must be used to indent lines; tabs are not allowed 322 | ERROR | Line indented incorrectly; expected at least 8 spaces, found 2 How can i solve these things easily and in future it don't repeat , what it saying that i should not use tab , and use space , by using space it will take time . and how can i start with basic standard ,because don't want to utilise more time in this right now.   I'm building a multiple webbrowser inside tabs( 1 predefine webbrowser control per tab) and I want them all to load at the same time or other words must run in thread. Unfortunately I feel a valid fact came from the error message that this is something not possible. Pls help me to check my simple program code below and its error in case i tried releasing 2 webbrowser controls but when I leave it to single web browser control it works fine. Any workaround?   Look at the following string: SELECT column1 , column2, column3 FROM table1 WHERE column1 = 'text, "FROM" \'from\\\' x' AND column2 = "sample text 'where' \"where\\\" " AND ( column3 = 5 ) I need to escape unnecessary white space characters from the string like: removing white space from beginning and ending position of , ( ) etc removing newline (\r\n) and tabs (\t) But one thing. The remove process could not remove white spaces from the quoted string like: 'text, "FROM" \'from\\' x' "sample text 'where' \"where\\" " etc. i need to use the PHP function: preg_replace($pattern, $replacement, $string); So what will be the value of $pattern and $replacement where the value of $string is the given SQL.

  Hey folks, I'm trying to minify multiple CSS files using preg_replace. Actually, I'm only trying to remove any linebreaks/tabs and comments from the file. the following works for me: $regex = array('{\t|\r|\n}', '{(/\*(.*?)\*/)}'); echo preg_replace($regex, '', file_get_contents($file)); But I'd like to do it in a single multiline regex, like this: $regex = <<<EOF {( \t | \r | \n | /\*(.*?)\*/ )}x EOF; echo preg_replace($regex, '', file_get_contents($file)); However, this does not do anything at all. Is there any way to do this? Regards, x3ro Edit: Ok, so I'll take a look at existing minifiers, but it still leaves me with the question how I would do a multiline regex like this, because with the x-modifier multiline regexs should work fine even in php, shouldn't they?

• ActionBarSherlock + ViewPager caching more then just prev/next view

  on the page: onCreate called for two tabs each time one tab is selected there is explained how the ABS(actually ViewPager) is working in order for ViewPager to be able to do a scrolling. It is clear that at least a prev/next page need all to be created at the same time. Would it be possible to "cache" more than just prev/next Views(Fragments), in a way: I am on Page 1 and there I have a network call to fetch some data(doing this in Activity, not in Fragment - btw. is this OK?) switch to Page 2, and then switch to Page 3, and then switch to Page 1 = Here my page is recreated (using some caching though, BUT, I do not need any recreation if possible) So, it would be nice to cache all the pages. How to accomplish this If possible in current version (4), or this would be some new feature? Or even better question, how to postpond/disable destroying of views?

But it doesn't works, I've tried without 'exec', with -X option and a lot more. Any ideas ?

• Multi-tab application (C#)

  Hi, I'm creating a multi-tabbed .NET application that allows the user to dynamically add and remove tabs at runtime. When a new tab is added, a control is added to it (as a child), in which the contents can be edited (eg. a text box). The user can perform tasks on the currently visible text box using a toolbar/menu bar. To better explain this, look at the picture below to see an example of what I want to accomplish. It's just a mock-up, so it doesn't actually work that way, but it shows what I want to get done. Essentially, like a multi-tabbed Notepad. • Using tab key to navigate google search results

  Google the phrase "Humans vs zombies" (just used for an example here, phrase doesn't matter). When you see the search results, put your fingers on the keyboard, and press tab until you get to the first result. It takes me over 10 tabs to get through the "images", "videos", "maps", "advanced search" and other links. (Do you get the same results?) How can I get it so pressing the tab key the first time takes me to the first link? I'm using FF 3.6. How might I be able to greasemonkey this?

• ASP.NET UserControl not defined?

  I've just inherited an app that utilizes usercontrols in a couple ways which I'm not too familiar with. The problem I have right now is that when I attempt to publish this code base, I get a few errors which boil down to where some referenced usercontrols are not defined. Here's an example of one line: Private clientControl As New ASP.usercontrols_clientcontrol_ascx This is a tab strip usercontrol which references other usercontrols to dynamically create the tabs. Now, on the surface I get what is going on here...but the compiler is not accepting this. This tab strip usercontrol is in the root of the project, and the other usercontrols are in a sub folder. error BC30002: Type 'ASP.usercontrols_clientcontrol_ascx' is not defined. I'm sure this is 101 stuff here, but the build works and the publish fails. Any direction would be appreciated.

• Android: stack management for views in a tab?

  I see some answers here prefer views over activities as contents of tabs. Correct me if I am wrong. My understanding is that by switching out views, it's possible to keep the navigation flow inside a tab (more user friendly, I think). But I wonder how to manage the view stack then in case of the back button events. Also this could cause one giant Activity with large amount of views, which might not be good. So I wish to know why exactly views as contents is preferred before I change my current application to this. Thanks,

• Tabbed browsing, programaticaly navigating to another open tab

  Hello, I'm in a discussion with my co-worker. We have a web application in a tabbed browsing environment, say with 2 tabs open. Tab2 has a link to tab1, when I click the link, it opens tab1 in a new tab. We want to detect if tab 1 is already open, if so then set focus to tab1 (and not open a new window). He has gotten this working in a broswer window environment, but says it is not possible in a tabbed environment. Is it possible to for javascript to determine if tab1 is already open and then just set focus to that tab? Thanks in advance!

• How do I configure emacs for editing HTML files that contain Javascript?

  I have started the painful first steps of using emacs to edit an HTML file with both HTML tags and javascript content. I have installed nxhtml and tried using it - i.e set up to use nxhtml-mumamo-mode for .html files. But I am not loving it. When I am editing the Javascript portion of the code the tab indents do not behave as they do when editing C/C++ code. It starts putting tabs within the line and if you try and hit tab in the white space preceding a line it inserts the tab rather than re-tabifying the line. Another aspect that I don't like is that it doesn't do syntax colouring like the usual C/C++ modes do. I much prefer the behaviour of the default java-mode when editing HTML files but that doesn't play nicely with the HTML code. :-( 1) Is there a better mode for editing HTML files with Javascript portions? 2) Is there a way to get nxhtml to use the default java-mode for the javascript portions? • Prevent painting of .NET form while form is loading?

  Is there a way to turn off all visual updates to a .NET form while I am manipulating it? When my program first loads, for example, I set the tab control to the tab that was last open. The user can see the program switching tabs. I have looked into SuspendLayout and ResumeLayout, but either I don't understand what they are doing, or I am not using them correctly, because they don't seem to have any effect. Someone told me that there used to be a way to turn off paint events in VB 6. Does this still exist in .NET?

• Where should I put some code for loading application data?

  I have a tab-bar and navigation controller application (like Youtube app or Contacts app). Where is the correct place to have the code for loading some data from the web? These data are necessary for all the tabs of the Tab Controller and the app can't display anything before all data are downloaded and parsed from the app (except a loading indicator view of course). Up to now I put it in the AppDelegate but it somehow doesn't feel right.. What's the correct way to do it? Thanks!

• GVim highlighting with matchadd eventually slows down?

It's an essential feature for me when working with something like Django. It all works fine for random amounts of time; from ten minutes to hours (my guess is it depends on how many files I open/close). But eventually when any line over 80 characters is displayed GVim slows to a halt and requires a restart. Does anyone have any ideas why this would eventually slow down?

• Why is my onSharedPreferenceChangeListener being called multiple times when I change a pref.

  I've written an app with 3 tabs. Each tab has the same list view with different data sources. I have setup SharedPreferences in the tabhost activity, but I put my onSharedPreferenceChangeListener method in my listactivity. When I change a preference, my listener gets called and it updates my database. This is all working. However, if I change the data in tab 1, it calls my listener once. If I change the data for tab 2 it calls it twice and if I change the data in tab 3 it calls it three times. Any idea why it works this way? I guess I could setup my shared prefs in my listactivity and that might avoid the issue, but I'm curious why my listener is called multiple times if it's in a different tab. brockoli

• Tabcontainer in Master Page not working as expected

  Isn't TABCONTAINER supposed to be used in a MASTERPAGE? I started building my application in a single .aspx page with a tabcontainer to separate the different features in the application. My idea was to later break it up into individual pages with less code in each of them. I thought the use of a masterpage would be the perfect solutions... of course, this didn't work as expected. The problem is that all tabs, except the one related to the page loaded, for example tab1.aspx, are empty. If tab2.aspx is loaded, only tab2 is filled and so on. Is this a known bug or by design?

  I am working on a .NET 2.0 application targetting the WM5 SDK, what is the correct way to disable the gesture functionality when running on a WM6.5.3 device that only affects the forms I am using? This is causing an issue when I have a signature capture control inside a tab control - when the signature is entered it's quite common for the tab control to switch tabs as WM6.5.3 picks it up as a gesture. I don't want to disable the gesture functionality device wide, nor can I upgrade the application to target the WM6.5.3 SDK as it still needs to work on older devices. Cheers

• How practical to change MVC app from traditional authentication to cookieless?

  I have an application written in MVC that uses your regular .Net Forms Authentication. There's nothing particularly new or exciting going on with it. My client has now asked that users be able to log in to the app on the same machine but in different browsers, or different tabs within the same browser. To my mind, he's asking for a scope change to have authentication moved to cookieless instead of its current design. Not having had any experience with doing this in MVC, I'm curious to know before I get started how much hurt I'm in for by trying this. Are there better ways to do it? What should I consider? Any advice appreciated.

• drupal: so many js and css files ?

  hi, I've realized I'm loading a lot of resources (24 css and 17 js files) using Drupal. I've several modules installed and they all come with a css and js file. For my website I'm only using 1 additional js plugin (all the other 16 come with Drupal modules). I've not installed useless modules. They are all necessary, and they require js such as swfobject, ajax_views, jquery.media, spamspan, lightbox (modal, video and default js files), etc Same thing with css files: ckeditor, filefield, lightbox, tagadelic, uploadfield, fieldgroup, vews, taxonomy_super_select, html-element, tabs, messages... etc For my website, I only use my theme css zen.css of course. So.. is this normal ? Or I should remove all this stuff? Are drupal websites normally heavy ? thanks
