    Hi, I am trying to implement google map api into one of my web page which is generated by jsp document, and I am having trouble getting it work. I found some jsp taglibrary by www.lamatek.com/GoogleMaps, but it doesn't seem to work.(I mean even examples on their web site don't work) Has anyone done work on google map in jsp document? I can really use some help or advice.(It seems like jsp docuemnt and javascript just don't get along) p.s I can get static google map work, but that's not my client wants.

    I wrote a blog post a while ago detailing how the availability of both primitive and object-wrapped value types in JavaScript (for things such as Number, String and Boolean) causes trouble, including but not limited to type-casting to a boolean (e.g. object-wrapped NaN, "" and false actually type-cast to true). My question is, with all this confusion and problems, is there any benefit to JavaScript having both types of values for the built-in classes?

  • Does using msysgit lead to repository corruption?

    While stumbling through the chromium code documentation, I came across this post: http://code.google.com/p/chromium/wiki/UsingGit#Windows If you are using msysgit, you are asking for trouble. Using both msysgit (including TortoiseGit) and cygwin's version of git is a path to lead to repository corruption so it's safer to stick with the cygwin's version. So if you still have msysgit in your PATH, you are on your own. Does this really happen? What causes the corruption?

  • Wordpress and Joomla Permalinks plus domain redirect to specific subdirectory on Zeus

    Hi, Here's what I'm trying to do: joomla in 1 subdirectory, wordpress in another. mysite.com directs to the joomla directory mysite.com/blog gives wordpress. I would also like to use seo friendly permalinks for both. I am using Zeus Linux shared hosting with Joomla 1.5 and wordpress 2.9.2, and having a great deal of trouble finding a suitable rewrite script. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you.

  • Does Python/Scipy have a firls( ) replacement (i.e. a weighted, least squares, FIR filter design)?

    I am porting code from Matlab to Python and am having trouble finding a replacement for the firls( ) routine. It is used for, least-squares linear-phase Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter design. I looked at scipy.signal and nothing there looked like it would do the trick. Of course I was able to replace my remez and freqz algorithsm, so that's good. On one blog I found an algorithm that implemented this filter without weighting, but I need one with weights.   • Has anyone got the vim taglist plugin working with Scala?

    I'm having trouble getting the taglist plugin working properly with Scala. I've installed the plugin and ctags and verified that it works properly with Java and C++. I then followed the instructions on this page (minus the Lift specific instructuions), but was nothing shows up in the taglist window when I open it while editing a Scala file. Has anyone got this working and what are the proper steps? Thanks.

My approach is this: On Home.aspx.cs: Menu menu = (Menu)Master.FindControl("Menu1"); if (menu.Items.Count > 0) { menu.FindItem("Home").Selected = true; } Trouble is, menu.item.count == 0. Now I'm not really sure how to provide the instances for each ModelFormSet.     I am having trouble figuring out the if statement code for changing the color of a UI label based on the current color of the label. For instance, if the label color is currently red and the correct button is pressed, I want the label color to change to black. If the label color is black I want the label color to change to blue.     I don't know why I'm experiencing so much trouble with this, but I would like to have an array that basically represents a layer number and x,y coordinates so I could essentially say, int i = array[layer,x,y] and get the corrisponding value per layer. I create the array.. int[,,] myarray ...initialize it myarray = new int[0,width, height]; ...and it blows up when try and grab a value. int n = myarray[0,1,1] What am I missing?

    Hey guys, I'm having trouble building an Elf file within Eclipse. It seems that everytime I build, a PE / portable executable for windows is created. I've gone into the Binary Parser section and checked Elf Parser while making sure that everything else is unchecked. However, I continue to end up with a PE which I cannot run on Linux. Any ideas?     I have big trouble with file uploads with php. My own tests are successful but my colleague is telling me that he cannot update "larger" (ca. 5mb) files. Phpinfo says: - max_execution_time 30 - memory_limit 32 Mb - post_max_size 8 Mb - upload_max_filesize 10 Mb Is it better to use FTP? The problem is that I cannot change these settings at my webhoster.

  • Firing MouseLeftButtonDown event programmatically

    Hi, I'm trying to manually fire a MouseLeftButtonDown event on a WPF control programmatically, as I am using the Microsoft Surface SDK, which does not fire MouseLeftButtonDown events, but ContactDown events. Basically I'm trying to push the MouseLeftButtonDown event down to the control, to fire off the correct behavior on the control, while handling a ContactDown event. I'm guessing I have to somehow use the RaiseEvent method on the control to do this with MouseButtonEventArgs, but I'm having some trouble figuring out the parameters.
