  • How to check Linux version with Autoconf?

    My program requires at least Linux 2.6.26 (I use timerfd and some other Linux-specific features). I have an general idea how to write this macro but I don't have enough knowledge about writing test macros for Autoconf. Algorithm: Run "uname --release" and store output Parse output and subtract Linux version number (MAJOR.MINOR.MICRO) Compare version I don't know how to run command, store output and parse it. Maybe such macro already exists and it's available (I haven't found any)?

    I have a problem with TextView and autoLink feature. I have an about screen in my application with some information like support phone number, email address, website URL and application version in form like 01.01.01 After setting autoLink="all" on the textView, all values are linked fine - except that version number 01.01.01 is linked as the phone number as well. Is there some way to exclude this text fragment from linkifing?

In CVS, for exmple the characters // $id$ Will Automaticly expand to // $id: ClassName.java, v 1.1 2004/02/05 00:36:42 ismene Exp $ So now I would like to do something similar with VSS for our SQL scripts I have been googling around for the answer but can't find it.     Hi, am 100% sure I downloaded and extracted version 1.8 of ZF, but then when I go to console and typed "zf show version" it says am using 1.9.6, yes I do have 1.9.6 but it is "Compressed" and untouched, how could this be possible ?, I double checked my system variables, there's no evidence of ZF there. I also checked my php.ini file, it's pointed to the location of the extracted 1.8 ZF.. please help. this is my first attempt in using ZF
