  I'm trying to make a visual basic application which is connected to a Microsoft Access Database using OLEDB. Inside my database I have a user table with the following layout ID - Autonumber Username - Text Password - Text Email - Text To insert data into the table I use the following query INSERT INTO Users (Username, Password, Email) VALUES ('004606', 'Password', '[email protected]') However I seem to get an error with this statement and according to VB it's a syntax error. But then I tried to use the following query INSERT INTO Users (Username) Values ('004606') This query seemed to work absolutely fine... So the problem is I can insert into just one field but not all 3 (excluding the ID field because it's an autonumber). Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

• Cached ObjectDataSource not firing Select Event even Cache Dependecy Removed

  I have the following scenario. A Page with a DetailsView binded to an ObjectDatasource with cache-enabled. The SelectMethod is assigned at Page_Load event, depending on my User Level Logic. After assigned the selectMethod and Parameters for the ODS, if Cache not exists, then ODS will be cached the first time. The next time, the cache will be applied to the ODS and the select event don't need to be fired since the dataresult is cached. The problem is, the ODS Cache works fine, but I have a Refresh button to clear the cache and rebind the DetailsView. Am I doing correctly ? I need to find a way to adapt the following query into inserting a row into table2 with the existing row's id. INSERT INTO table1 (host, path) VALUES ('youtube.com', '/watch') IF NOT EXISTS ( SELECT * FROM table1 WHERE host='youtube.com' AND path='/watch' LIMIT 1); Something kind of like this: INSERT ...   [DISCLAIMER : None of the access token or ID below here are real] I've done research for three solid days and no result on how to get user wall feed(post). I have used https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id=YOUR_APP_ID&client_secret=YOUR_APP_SECRET&grant_type=client_credentials and get the access token which is something like this access_token=454345994651138|bAMGfuW-ueNXGCahley7ga125HN and then https://graph.facebook.com/100005939123542/feed?access_token=454345994651138|bAMGfuW-ueNXGCahley7ga125HN It gives me general information such as user's likes, name, id, current city... but NOT user's wall posts. I've learned that there are three types of access token, which is App Token, User Token, and Page Token. In order to get user/feed by using graphAPI, I need to request to get User Token, but there's NO information in the lousy Facebook Doc! (Which frustrated me the most!) In order to generate the user access token, we need to set some permission, generate the access token, and GET the user's wall feed, which is in JSON format. My question is : How do I get the User Access Token in order to get user wall post in iOS Xcode?

Even if I uncheck the first checkbox if I check second checkbox second checkbox value showing as null? can anybody help me out? thanks

  I would like to implement a toggle splitbutton with jQuery UI that would on toggle action change the style of the "dropdown" part as well (as seen in http://jsfiddle.net/8khz2/3/ - I'd like to appear it on 1st click as white, same as "Toggle" button does). Does anyone see a way to achieve that out of the box or only with CSS, without additional javascript code? • Prototype Ajax.Updater Response OK, but not showing up in FF. working in Safari!

  Hi, I've got a quite strange problem here. I'm calling some simple code via Ajax.Updater: new Ajax.Updater('load','http://myurl.com/demo.pl?key=demokey&param1=xyz&param2=abc',{ method:'get', onComplete:function(transport){ alert(transport.responseText) } }); which gets some code like this: <img id="2009_04_15_1239786246" src='../pv/100/2009_04_15_1239786246-01.jpg' border="1"> <img id="2009_04_15_1239786066" src='../pv/100/2009_04_15_1239786066-01.jpg' border="1"> ... and so on This code shows up in my firebug console as my server response, so everything should be fine. No errors here at all. Works fine in Safari. Firefox, according to Firebug, knows there is a response, but it won't show a thing in my div 'load' and the alert(transport.responseText) is also empty. I have no idea what could be the problem here.

  Hi all! What i am trying to do here is to show a couple of validation messages in form of a bulletlist, so i have a Div on my master page containing a asp:bulletlist. Like this: <div> <asp:BulletedList ID="blstValidationErrorMessage" runat="server" BulletStyle="Disc"> </asp:BulletedList> </div> When i then click the Save button from any of my pages (inside the main contentPlaceHolder) i create a list of messages and give this list as datasouce like this: blstValidationErrorMessage.DataSource = validationMessageCollection; blstValidationErrorMessage.DataBind(); The save button is located inside an updatepanel: asp:UpdatePanel runat="server" ID="UpdatePanel" ChildrenAsTriggers="true" UpdateMode="Conditional" Nothing happens, i can see that the datasource of the bulletlist contains X items, the problems must arise because the Save button is inside an update panel and the elements outside this updatepanel (master page controls for example) is not refreshed. So my question is, how do i make the bulletlist refresh after the postback? Thanks in advance.

• CSS Rollovers: how to main "hit area" size when hidden image is larger than anchor area

  I have a small problem and I don't think what I want to do can be achieved with just pure CSS, but I figured I'd ask anyway. Basically, I have one DIV which contains a hyperlinked element that is smaller in size to it's parent DIV. So in effect I have a square within a square with the inner square being the "hit area". When I mouse over this inner square I want the background of the outer square to change. I know it's not possible to change the parent DIV's background on a:hover, but I figured I could give the illusion of it happening by nesting a hidden image inside the anchor. This works great until I want to "roll off". The problem is that I want the image to disappear when I leave the area of the anchor tag, not the larger hidden image. Is this possible? I saw an error message in red pop up, and no matter how hard and how many times I pressed the submit button, nothing was submitted. It seemed that there was some scripts that disabled the submit action, but I just couldn't find which lines of codes in the JQuery Validatyion Plugin that did it.

• Using GET Method to Maintain Variables After Logging In

  Hello, I am using a login system. When I navigate to comments/index.php without logging in, some variables get passed along using the GET method just fine. Then, if I log in while I am on this page, these variables disappear. The variables that disappear are $submission, $submissionid, and $url. I thought I could use the GET method to keep them live after logging in by appending ?submission='.$submission.'&submissionid='.$submissionid.'&url='.$url.' to the URL of the login form action as seen below. But the variables still disappeared after I made this addition. The relevant code I am trying to use is below. Any idea what I can do to make it do what I want?   I am usingtextarea to get some inputs. A label shows the updated chars left. It works fine in IE, but in FF 3.0, after reaching the max limit, it doesn't allow to delete or backspace key. I've tried different kinds of paths, like lines and curves but it's still there and I don't know what's causing it.

• ria entity remove bug

  hello, I am trying out the ria services and I am experiencing this problem that seems very strange to me. I am creating a new entity of type "House" and add it to context without saving the context so the id of the new entity is 0, after i remove this entity and add another new entity of type "House" again and again without saving the context, here comes the weird part, now I have an entity of type "City" which holds entityset of all "Houses" in that city, so to put the newly created entity "House" into the city i do something like this - house.City = city, where house is type "House" and city is type "City", afte this step a check the context and suddenly there are 2 entities of type "House" with id 0, one of them is the one I have deleted at the beginning. Any idea what is causing this and how to fix it?? thank you Greg
