• CSS float column extending over footer

  Hi, I am having a problem with my CSS whereby the right hand column in a 2 column layout is extending beyond the footer. I have tried playing with the clear: both; property but I cannot get it to work.. the second column has the id column2 both columns use the class column. The footer html has the id footerWrapper Both columns and footer are div tags.   Hi, iam looking for a datagrid which contains objects from my class. class user { string name; int ID; ... } i tried AutoGenerateColumns = true. this will add columns (name, ID, ... like the properties of my class) but i want a different design. not all attributes from the object shold be shown and the columnheader shouldn't be generated from the variablenames... if i build a custom. column-design, i cant add my objects / they will not be displayed. is it possible to define my own columns according to my objects/class. i read about databindings, but i have no idea how i can bind objects/classes in WPF. (in Visual Studio i cant choose my class as datacontext)

  Hi people, I want to give the users to change their account info with restful_authentication plugin in rails. Considering that resources are already defined in routes.rb I was expecting it to work easily, bute somehow when I click the save button it calls the create method, instead of update, using a POST http request. Any ideas?

  Hiya, I'm trying to generate Outlook event files for my events, doing so on the fly as and when someone requests it by pressing a link on the page. Here's what i've got so far, but I can't find out how to get the browser to download the content which is returned. I know how I could do this if I sent everything via _GET, but I'd prefer to do it via _POST, hence I'm going down this route.. Any thoughts? Thanks! • Is it possible to use an input within a <label> field?

  I have a bunch of optional "write-in" values for a survey I'm working on. These are basically a radio button with a textbox within the answer field - the idea being that you would toggle the button and write something into the box. What I'd like to do is have the radio button toggled whenever a user clicks in the text field - this seems like a use-case that makes a lot of sense. Doing this: <input type="radio" id="radiobutton"><label for="radiobutton">Other: <input type="text" id="radiobutton_other"></label> works fine in Chrome (and I am guessing, other WebKit browsers as well), but there are weird selection issues in Firefox, so I'm assuming its a non-standard practice that I should stay away from. Is there a way to replicate this functionality without using JavaScript? I have an onclick function that will work, but we're trying to make our site usable for people who might have NoScript-type stuff running.

  jQuery 1.7.2 jQuery Validate 1.1.0 jQuery Form 3.18 Wordpress 3.4.2 I am trying to code a contact/ mail form in above environment/ with above jQuery libs. Now I am having a problem with the jQuery Form JS: I have taken the original code from the developers page for ajaxSubmit and only altered the target option to an ID which exists in my HTML source and replaced $ with jQuery in function showRequest. The problem is, that the function namend after success: does not fire. I tried the same with error: and again nothing fired. Only complete: did and the function I placed there alerted the responseText from the receiving script. Does anyone has an idea whats going wrong? Thanks in advance!   I'm trying to implement some basic entities using Hibernate/JPA. Initially the code was deployed on MySQL and was working fine. Now, I'm porting it over to use PostgreSQL. In MySQL, my entity class defines its primary key as an auto-incrementing long value with the following syntax: @Id @GeneratedValue(strategy = GenerationType.AUTO) private Long id; However, I've found that I get errors with PostgreSQL when I try and insert numerous records at a time. What do I need to annotate my primary key with to get the same auto-incrementing behavior in PostgreSQL as I have with MySQL? Thanks for any help you can provide!

  So I have built a voting system for a custom post system i wrote. I want to be able to sort by "most voted", "Most liked", etc. I have two tables. Entry: ID, Title, Post Vote: ID, EntryID, Result I want to be able to query the vote table for each entry and see how many vote's there are, and then sort the entry's by how many vote's each table had. I have messed around with joins, etc. and cannot seem to figure it out. Any suggestions?

  Hey, I have an XML exported from Oracle DB, which will be downloaded into my application main bundle. i would like to convert this XML file into .plist file so i can assign the values into NSDictionary and NSArrays.. • Making a Login Work After Cache, Cookies, etc. Have Been Cleared

  Hello, I am using the code below for a user login. The first I try to login after cache / cookies, etc. have been cleared, the browser refreshes and the user name is not logged in. After that, logging in works fine. Any idea how I can make it work the first time? • Problems with creating and using of delegate-protocols

  Hello, I have the problem that I have created a delegate protocol, but the necessary methods are not executed, although I have implemented the protocol in my header file. Here are the detailed explanation: I created an instance of my ViewController (TimeLineViewController), which will be displayed. This ViewController contains a UITableView, which in turn receives the individual Cells / Rows from one instance of my TableViewCell. So the ViewController creates an instance of TableCellView. The TableViewCell contains a UITextView, which contains web links. Now I want, that not safari opens the links, but my own built-in browser. Unfortunately TableViewCell can not open a new ViewController with a WebView, so I decided to create a delegate protocol.   Hi All, I am trying to get a var from a PHP script running on my web server and from every forum post I have read, what I am doing should be working. I have the following: var lvContent = new LoadVars(); lvContent.load("http://{MY_DOMAIN}/Includes/getID.php"); trace("ID: " + lvContent.pageID); The problem is that ID in the trace is always undefined.   Is there a way to make the DataContractSerializer serialize a [MessageContract] the same way it appears when transmitted over SOAP? • How to generate a user role grid

  I have the following tables: users (id, username, ... ) roles (id, name) roles_users (user_id, role_id) I am wondering how I can create a nice sort of user-role-grid from that which an admin can use to administer roles to users in a clear way. What I would like is basically a table full of checkboxes sort of like this: Login Editor Admin Alice ¦ ¦ ¦ Bob ¦ ? ? Carol ¦ ¦ ? [Apply] Generating the table isn't too much of a deal, but I am very unsure how to handle it when it comes to how to name all the checkboxes and especially how to read and update the database in a not too clumsy way. Does anyone have any good advice or pointers on how to do this in a mostly clean way? I'm using the Kohana 3 framework, if there is anything there that can make this even easier, but I of course welcome any answer.
