  I'm curious if anyone has done any performance comparisons with any or all of the main players in the .NET ORM space. Specifically I'm interested in comparisons between the following: Linq to SQL NHibernate LLBL Gen Entity Framework Though it seems people don't really consider Linq to SQL a true ORM, I am still including it in this list. Some performance metrics would be nice to see.

  Using VS2010, I can't seem to add additional test methods. If I set up my project like this [TestMethod] public void Test1() { Assert.AreNotEqual(0,1); } [TestMethod] public void Test2() { Assert.AreNotEqual(0,1); } The only test that shows up in my Test View is Test1. How do I make sure Test2 gets in to that list?

  using jquery date picker you can render specific cells the way you want. (in my case i have a list of dates that i want to highlight as they are important days) i see that datepicker itself supports this here: http://www.kelvinluck.com/assets/jquery/datePicker/v2/demo/renderCalendarCallback.html but i dont see the multimonth implementation having an option for renderingcustomDates http://www.kelvinluck.com/assets/jquery/datePicker/v2/demo/datePickerMultiMonth3.html was this missed out in the implementation to expose this functionality?

  I'm looking to create a many to many relationship using NHibernate. I'm not sure how to map these in the XML files. I have not created the classes yet, but they will just be basic POCOs. For example, I have a PNG file without a proper .png suffix, which makes zsh think it isn't a picture and won't list it when I type Tab to complete arguments of display. I am wondering if there is a key sequence that completes for a filename wherever the context is, like ^XC for _correct_filename, or how to configure zsh to do the thing?

Let's say I have an user table in declarative mode: class User(Base): __tablename__ = 'user' id = Column(u'id', Integer(), primary_key=True) name = Column(u'name', String(50)) When I have a list of users identifiers, I fetch them from db with: user_ids = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] users = Session.query(User).filter(User.id.in_(user_ids)).all() I dislike using in_ because I think I learned it has bad performance on indexed fields (is that true/false?). Anyway, is there a better way doing that query? Thanks!

  How can I get "git add -i" to start up in patch mode directly without having to type "5" + Enter? I know about "git add -p", but it's not the same as it doesn't show me a list of files to select from first. The most important point is: it must be super fast. I've tried md5 and sha1 and they're using to much cpu power. Clashes are not a problem. I'm using javascript, so it shouldn't be too complicated to implement.

I don't want my implementing classes to return the int[] array because it is mutable. What is the most efficient way to copy an int[] array (sizes in the 1000-1000000 length range) ? Is it clone()?
