  • How can I change GWT's widget CSS values?

    Basically, I like default theme widgets. However, I need to change font size on DecoratedStackPanel widget. I think it should be possible with something like this: decoratedStackPanel.getElement().getStyle().setProperty("fontSize", "12pt"); However, "fontSize" is not valid name for property and I didn't find way how to get all element's properties. Therefore, I don't know correct property name. Any ideas? Please, don't post about inheriting widget or writing custom CSS. I like default one but the font size. This should be possible afaik.

So the result of the query should be like this: contractId date price partId 1 20120121 10 1 3 20130101 15 2 I am out of ideas here, I tried self joining the table, I tried aggregation functions, but I can't figure it out. If anyone would have any idea, please share them with me..

    I have the following schema: Parcels Segments SegmentsParcels ========= ========== ================= ParcelID SegmentID ParcelID ... Name SegmentID ... id A user of the data wants to consolidate Segments.Names and gave me a list of current Segment.Names mapped to new Segment.Names (all of which currently exist). So now I have this list in a temporary table with the currentID and newID to map to. What I want to do is update the SegmentID in SegmentsParcels based on this map. I could use the statement: update SegmentParcels set segmentID = [newID] from newsegments where segmentID = currentid but this will create some duplicates I have a unique constraint on ParcelID and SegmentID in SegmentParcels. What is the best way to go about this? I considered removing the constraint and then dealing with removing the duplicates (which I did at one point and could probably do again) but I was hoping there was a simpler way.

  • JSF - Updating Model Values in Controller Bean

    I have a Controller bean (SearchController) that has two managed bean as managed properties (SearchCriteria, SearchResults; both of which are session scoped). When the user hits the find button, the action method that is executed is in SearchController. The SearchCreteria managed bean has a method called search(). This method returns a new SearchResults object. In the controller bean, I am setting the searchResults managed property to be this new SearchResults object. The searchResults object contains what I expect during that request, but the object does not persist in the managed bean. I understand that I am changing what object that searchResults is referencing, but what I don't understand is why JSF isn't updating the model to use the new object. Any ideas what I'm missing or don't understand? I am using JSF 1.1 on WebSphere 6.1. If I put the search method in the SearchResults managed bean, it works.

"0" in max_value should mean unlimited "roof". The min_value can not be greater than targetvalue, but sometimes min_value is not defined and then set to "0". "0" min_value should mean a unlimited "floor". I have a property called EntryType which is an int. There are 2 available numbers 1 or 2 Lets say I had 3 items that my query is working with 2 of them had the EntryType = 1 and the 3rd had EntryType2. The first records had a ItemAmount of 55.00 and the 3rd had a ItemAmount of 50.00 How can I group using something simlar to above but minus the ItemAmount of 50.00 from the grouped amount to return 60.00? Any help would be great!!

Then I get the location and it should remove the old annotations and add the new ones, instead I keep seeing the old annotations and the new ones are added anyway (let's say I receive 10 annotations each time, so it means that I have 20 on my map when I should have 10). What am I doing wrong?

Its definitely a solution that makes you first think 'hmmmmm' but then you realize its a pretty elegant one. The problem I have is when I'm trying to parse the data on the backend. Well its not so much of a problem as a concern if anything in future were to change in the framework. If I'm using the built in binding everything is great - its all done for me. But in my case I'm dynamically generating checkboxes with unknown names and no corresponding properties in my model. So i end up having to write code like this : if (forms["List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION"] == "true,false") { } or this: if (forms.GetValues("List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION")[0] == "true") { } Both of which i still look at and cringe - especially since theres no guarantee this will always be the return value. I'm wondering if theres a way to access the layer of abstraction used by the model binders - or if I'm stuck with my controller 'knowing' this much about HTTP POST hacks. Yes I'm maybe being a little picky - but perhaps theres a better clever way using the model binders that I can employ to read dynamically created checkbox parameters. In addition i was hoping this this post might help others searcheing for : "true,false". Even though I knew why it does this I just forgot and it took me a little while to realize 'duh'. FYI: I tried another few things, and this is what I found : forms["List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION"] evaluates to "true,false" forms.GetValues("List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION")[0] evaluates to "true" (forms.GetValue("List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION").RawValue as string[])[0] evaluates to "true" forms.GetValues("List_RETAIL_NOTIFICATION").FirstOrDefault() evaluates to "true"

I have 330 rows with column A containing the 'name' and in Column B I have the name of a test that was done for each 'name', which each 'name' could have taken several iterations of the same test.     I'm using SWIG to wrap C++ objects for use in lua, and Im trying to pass data to a method in my lua script, but it always comes out as 'nil' void CTestAI::UnitCreated(IUnit* unit){ lua_getglobal(L, "ai"); lua_getfield(L, -1, "UnitCreated"); swig_module_info *module = SWIG_GetModule( L ); swig_type_info *type = SWIG_TypeQueryModule( module, module, "IUnit *" ); SWIG_NewPointerObj(L,unit,type,0); lua_epcall(L, 1, 0); } Here is the lua code: function AI:UnitCreated(unit) if(unit == nil) then game:SendToConsole("I CAN HAS nil ?") else game:SendToConsole("I CAN HAS UNITS!!!?") end end unit is always nil. I have checked and in the C++ code, the unit pointer is never invalid/null I've also tried: void CTestAI::UnitCreated(IUnit* unit){ lua_getglobal(L, "ai"); lua_getfield(L, -1, "UnitCreated"); SWIG_NewPointerObj(L,unit,SWIGTYPE_p_IUnit,0); lua_epcall(L, 1, 0); } with identical results. Consider the below cases "BKP","bkp","book-to-price" (will represent) BOOK-TO-PRICE "aop","aspect oriented program" (will represent) ASPECT-ORIENTED-PROGRAM i.e. if the user enter BKP or bkp or book-to-price , the program should treat that as BOOK-TO-PRICE. The same holds good for the second example(ASPECT-ORIENTED-PROGRAM). I have the below solution: Solution: if (str == "BKP" || str == "bkp" || str == "book-to-price" ) return "BOOK-TO-PRICE". But I think that there can be many other better solutions . Could you people please give some suggestion.(with an example will be better) I am using C#3.0 and dotnet framework 3.5
