While increasing the logfile size/space might be a temporary solution, the definitive solution must be to identify the culprit process/queue that causes this long transaction.   • How do you adjust the frame or vertical alignment of a UIBarButtonItem contained by a UIToolbar inst

    Horizontal positioning of UIBarButtonItems is no problem, I can simply pad the space with fixed/flexible space items. However, I can't seem to adjust the toolbar item vertically. UIToolbar has no alignment property, and UIBarButtonItem has no way of setting its frame. I need to do this because we're using a mix of custom icons created using initWithImage, and standard icons created with initWithBarButtonSystemItem. The custom icons aren't being centered properly (they're offset upwards, relative to the system icons, which are centered properly), so the toolbar looks awkward.

    I have a tree view <asp:TreeView ID="TreeView1" runat="server" DataSourceID="SiteMapDataSource1" ShowExpandCollapse="False"> </asp:TreeView> As you can see, root node is hidden. However when the treenode gets rendered, there is a whitespace to the left of each leafnode. This is probably because the root node is hidden but is taking up space. How do i remove that white space.

    I want to be able to find and highlight a string within a string BUT I no not want to remove the space. So if my original string is : There are 12 monkeys I want to find '12 mon' and highlight those characters ending up with : There are < font color='red' 12 mon< /font keys BUT I also want the same result if I search for '12mon' (no space this time) This has really bent my mind! I'm sure it can be done with Regex.

I don't have any problems when I install it in external storage, but when I upload it to phone before installing, the APK goes to internal storage and my testing phone doesn't have enough space in internal storage and a lot of android phones don't have enough internal space for 70 MB... Can I upload my APK straight to the SD Card instead of internal storage first? upload mean "upload from my eclipse while runnig , or download from market, apk will go to internal storage but i want apk go to external and start install from external"

    I've been working on a game and implementing the physics stuff with chipmunk. All was going fine on the cocos2d part until the integration with chipmunk. A bit of background: The game is a game with blocks. Levels are defined in a property list, where positions, size of the blocks, gravitational forces, etc., are all defined for each block to be shown in the level. The problem is with the blocks showing up. I have a method on my BlockLayer class which is part of my game's main scene. Upon creation of the layer, the property list is read, and all the blocks are created. I tried a number of things and the example linked above is my closest result. How do i make the 3rd link share the same line and a block so the resut of the line is clickable? I tried float left and that does not allow the third link to take up remaining space.

  • In Eclipse, how can spaces behave as tabs ?

    I have replaced all my tabs by spaces. But now, when I hit backspace to remove an indentation level, it removes only one space. So I have to hit 4 times space to remove an indentation level. That is one of the most absurd thing I've seen in Eclipse, so I guess there is an option somewhere to enable us to remove 4 spaces as if it where a tab ? (because we use spaces instead of tabs for practical reason, 4 spaces is supposed to mean "1 tab") Thanks Note : I use Eclipse PDT
