• Ubuntu: SWT App Can't Load GTK Library

  I have supplied the Linux SWT jar and packaged my app in Eclipse to include swt.jar inside my app's jar. When I try to run it on Ubuntu, I get the following error text (posting only cause): Caused by: java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Could not load SWT library. Reasons: no swt-pi-gtk-4234 in java.library.path no swt-pi-gtk in java.library.path /home/nifty/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-pi-gtk-4234.so: libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Can't load library: /home/nifty/.swt/lib/linux/x86/libswt-pi-gtk.so This indicates to me it can't load a GTK file, but anything beyond that, and I'm at a loss. I'm only using Ubuntu to test my app, so I know very little.

• Binding jQuery UI plugin after $.load

  I have a function that attaches the jQuery UI DatePicker (with my options) to a passed jQuery object: function bindDatepicker($obj) { if ($obj == null) $obj = $("input.date"); $obj.datepicker( { appendText: '(yyyy-mm-dd)', autoSize: true, changeMonth: true, changeYear: true, closeText: 'Done', dateFormat: 'yy-mm-dd', defaultDate: '+1m', minDate: +1, numberOfMonths: 2 } ); } I call this at the beginning of every page to bind it to input elements: $(function() { bindDatepicker($("input.date")); }); This works fine. My problem comes in when I load form elements using $.load(). I cannot attach the DatePicker to any of the loaded elements. For example: $("#id").load("urlToLoad", function() { bindDatepicker($("input.date")); }); Loads the form elements into a div just fine, but will not attach the DatePicker. Why is this? See: http://tinyurl.com/ylbtns2 The editor uses the css of the current template and loads an additional fix.css (inside the iframe) to override some rules: * { background-image: none !important; min-height: 0px !important; } #breadcrumbs, #content .sidebar, #footer, #header, #search_form { display: none; } #content { margin: 0px; width: 100%; } The problem: on first load the "min-height: 0px !important;" seems not to work - on second load the height of the editor iframe is 100px like it should be. Other rules like no background (fix.css) are working on first load and get overridden.

  So I have been working on a java project where the goal is to create a virtual computer. So I am basically done but with one problem. I have created a compiler which translates a txt document with assembly code in it and my compiler has created a new-file with this code written as machine executable ints. But now I need to write a load method that reads these ints and runs the program but I am having difficulty doing this. Any help is much appreciated....also this is not homework if you are thinking this. The project was simply to make a compiler and now I am trying to complete it for my own interest. Thanks.   Let's say I do this: $("#content").load(...); Within what I'm loading some javascript is included: var myCounter = 0; var myInterval = setInterval(function(){ myCounter++; $("#counter-display").html("Count: "+myCounter); }); For an unknown reason, if I reload the content with $("#content").load(...); - myInterval is now being called twice. I tried doing something like: if (myInterval !== undefined){ //dont set interval again } However, it doesn't work. Does anyone know any method so that myInterval is cleared on .load, without needing to put the javascript outside of the loaded file?

Empty fields are defined with the exception when they are at the end of the row: 1,2,3,4,5 1,2,3,,5 1,2,3 The following table was created in MySQL: +-------+--------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | Field | Type | Null | Key | Default | Extra | +-------+--------+------+-----+---------+-------+ | one | int(1) | YES | | NULL | | | two | int(1) | YES | | NULL | | | three | int(1) | YES | | NULL | | | four | int(1) | YES | | NULL | | | five | int(1) | YES | | NULL | | +-------+--------+------+-----+---------+-------+ I am trying to load the data using MySQL LOAD command: load data infile '/tmp/testdata.txt' into table moo fields terminated by "," lines terminated by "\n"; The resulting table: +------+------+-------+------+------+ | one | two | three | four | five | +------+------+-------+------+------+ | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | | 1 | 2 | 3 | 0 | 0 | | 1 | 2 | 3 | NULL | NULL | +------+------+-------+------+------+ The problem lies with the fact that when a field is empty in the raw data and is not defined, MySQL for some reason does not use the columns default value (which is NULL) and uses zero. NULL is used correctly when the field is missing alltogether. Unfortunately, I have to be able to distinguish between NULL and 0 at this stage so any help would be appreciated. Thanks S.

• Ajax: Load XML from different domain?

  I have signed up(paid) for Google site search. They have me a url of a sort of web service where I can send a query to it, it searches my site, and it returns XML of the search results. Well I am trying to load this XML via Ajax from a page on my site but I cannot. I can load from any of my pages on my domain so I am assuming it is because of the XML being on Google's domain. So there has got to be a way to load it though, I don't think they would have given me the URL if I couldn't do anything with it lol. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks! The url rewrite function works on the original DOM in all browsers. Its working fine, but one of the built in features of this one is to load all the data which is on the database when you press on backspace and there's no character left on the text box. Here's my query: SELECT * FROM prod_table WHERE QTYHAND>0 AND PRODUCT LIKE '$prod%' OR P_DESC LIKE '$desc%' OR CATEGORY LIKE '$cat%' As you can see I only want to load the products which has greater than 0 quantity on hand.   OK 1ST SOME BACKGROUND - I have a page showing the number of hits(or views) of any selected item. The hit counter procedure that is called at every page load i.e if (Request.QueryString.HasKeys()) { // get item id from icoming url e.g details.aspx?itemid=26 string itemid = Request.Params["itemid"]; if (!Page.IsPostBack) { countHit(itemid); } } THE PROBLEM - My expectation was that the counter would be increased by 1 on every page load but the counters on my datalist and formview are always behind and stepped by 2 i.e instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 its - 0, 2 , 4, 6 It seems that the page load is firing twice. Later I discovered that this only happens when you are using Mozilla Firefox. The page behaves fine with other browsers like IE This becoming quite frustrating. CAN ANY1 HELP :-(

• SDL/Pygame failing to load PNG images with cx_Freeze

  I'm running Python 3.1 on Windows and I'm trying to distribute my Pygame script as an executable via cx_Freeze. Right now it seems to be working except that the exe build can't load any of my images: Cannot load image: C:\path\to\build\exe.win32-3.1\resources\image.png File is not a Windows BMP file Googling has revealed that this happens when the SDL imaging library doesn't get included correctly. However, SDL_image.dll and libpng12-0.dll are both put by cx_Freeze into my build directory, so it seems to me like everything should be fine. Why wouldn't it be able to load PNG images?

• Load Globalize cultures with Node.js?

  I'm using jQuery Globalize with Node.js. They have a package.json file so I can simply use it as a module and require it. However, it doesn't load all cultures by default. I was wondering what the proper way to load a culture would be? I could go and do something like require('./node_modules/globalize/lib/cultures/globalize.culture.es-US.js') and load the file directly, but that doesn't seem too elegant.   I'm building a slide-show like application in Flex and I'm trying to load images dynamically. The images are in a folder outside the application folder. This is the folder structure: /Bildvisare-debug/ Bildvisare.html Bildvisare.swf /Images/ 01_02_01_01_B.jpg 01_02_01_01_T.JPG I'm reading the image names from an XML file and get them with a path of ../Images/01_03_01_01_B.jpg. In my mxml-file I've got an SWFLoader named picture and I try to load the images with the following code: this.picture.source = images[currentImg]; //E.g. ../Images/01_03_01_01_B.jpg this.picture.load(); The problem is that the images never show up, I only get the icon for a missing image. Can anyone help?

  Hi, I need to take data from external file and format it, the problem is, i want to have that data stored into a variable. Load method works for me, because i need to load not the whole document, but just a part of it, but then again, i want to load to variable and not to some dom element. $.get can do this, but it doesn't support selectors. Is there any way I could make this? Now examples: Mine external file consists of a table, which has format like this: <table><tr><td><img /></td></tr><tr><td><a></a></td><td><span></span></td></tr></table> I need to extract img, a and span tags because I need them to be displayed in different order than they're now. • Referenced assembly won't load in new thread on IIS 7

  I have a process in which a user uploads a file to a web site where the file is then processed and uploaded into the database. The process of validating the file could take several minutes so as soon as the file is uploaded I create a new thread and I do my processing on this second thread. This works great on my local machine but doesn't work at all on my IIS 7 test server. After some investigating I found the problem is that the process is trying to load a reference to Castle and it can't find the DLL. I have a copy of Castle DLLs in my bin and it works elsewhere in my app. I ran Fuslog and discovered that it is trying to load castle from the wrong location. It is trying to load from c:/windows/system32/inetsrv/. It appears that under IIS 7 the second thread is executing in a different context or something. So the question is what can I do to get it to find Castle in the application BIN folder?

• Multible jquery .load() methods not running concurrently in MVC 2

  In one of my aspx pages i have something like this in the head: <script type="text/javascript"> $(function() { // Jquery stuff loadStuff(); }); function loadStuff() { $('#result1').load({ source: url }); $('#result2').load({ source: url }); $('#result3').load({ source: url }); }; </script> The idea being that as the page is being displayed these loads will populate the specified divs with results from different webservices as and when the info becomes available. My problem is that this requests are being queued and being sent one at a time. However I want these to be sent at the same time and whichever returns first gets displayed first! Also if I try to kick off another request while these divs are loading the request seems to get queued after the others. How do I make these requests concurrent instead of queued? Thanks
