  • New Facebook like button HTML validation

    - by Eric Di Bari
After adding the new facebook like button to my page, it no longer validates using XHTML strict. The two errors I come across are: All of the "meta property" tags say that "there is no attribute "property"" All of the variables used in the like button line are listed that there are no attributes for it. The line is as follows: <fb:like href="http://www.pampamanta.org" layout="button_count" show_faces="false" width="120" action="like" font="arial" colorscheme="light"></fb:like>

  • how do I get all checkbox variables even if not checked from HTML to PHP?

    - by netrox
I noticed that PHP seems to return only values of checked checkboxes. I would like to see a list of checkboxes, not just values of checked checkboxes. Is there a way to detect variables of unchecked boxes? I asked because I want to be able to update settings. For example, I have a few options that are already checked but if an user decides to uncheck an option, I need to know that unchecked value so I can update the option to be disabled.

  • Strange behavior of DDD debugger in Ubuntu

    - by Alex Farber
I installed DDD debugger in Ubuntu and trying to work with it. It looks like DDD UI doesn't work properly with Ubuntu desktop environment. Edit boxes are almost unusable: sometimes they accept keyboard input, most of times input is ignored. Internal resizing panes are not working. Is there some way to get DDD UI working properly? The same behavior is in Ubuntu 9.10 32 bit, and 10.4 64 bit, so this is not Ubuntu version issue.

  • How to build jars from IntelliJ properly?

    - by ripper234
I have a project that contains a single module, and some dependencies. I'd like to create a jar, in a separate directory, that contains the compiled module. In addition, I'd like to have the dependencies present beside my module. No matter how I twist IntelliJ's "build jar" process, the output of my module appears empty (besides a META-INF file).

  • Django - Can you use property as the field in an aggregation function?

    - by orokusaki
I know the short answer because I tried it. Is there any way to accomplish this though (even if only on account of a hack)? class Ticket(models.Model): account = modelfields.AccountField() uuid = models.CharField(max_length=36, unique=True) created = models.DateTimeField(auto_now_add=True) class Meta: ordering = ['created'] @property def repair_cost(self): # cost is a @property of LineItem(models.Model) return self.lineitem_set.aggregate(models.Sum('cost'))

  • How to cutomize a modelform widget in django 1.1?

    - by muudscope
I'm trying to modify a django form to use a textarea instead of a normal input for the "address" field in my house form. The docs seem to imply this changed from django 1.1 (which I'm using) to 1.2. But neither approach is working for me. Here's what I've tried: class HouseForm(forms.ModelForm): address = forms.Textarea() # Should work with django 1.1, but doesn't class Meta: model = House #widgets = { 'address': forms.Textarea() } # 1.2 style - doesn't work either.

  • How to disable sql creation for JPA entity classes

    - by Samuel
We have some JPA entity classes which are currently under development and wouldn't want them as part of the testing cycle. We tried commenting out the relevant entity classes in META-INF\persistence.xml but the hbm2ddl reverse engineering tool still seems to generate SQL for those entities. How do I tell my code to ignore these classes? Are there any annotations for these or should I have to comment out the @Entity annotation along with my changes in persistence.xml file.

  • How to concatenate all commit messages from subversion into one text file with no metadata?

    - by user144182
I would like to take all the commit messages in my subversion log and just concatenate them into one text file. Each commit message has this format: - r1 message - r1 message - r1 message What I would like is something like: - r1 message - r1 message - r2 message - r2 message - r3 message [...] - r1000 message Update I thought the above was clear, but what I don't want in the log is this type of info: r2130 | user| 2010-03-19 10:36:13 -0400 (Fri, 19 Mar 2010) | 1 line No meta data, I simply want the commit messages.

  • Django display manytomany field in form when definition is on other model

    - by John
Hi I have the definition for my manytomany relationship on one model but want to display the field on the form of my other model. How do I do this? for example: # classes class modelA(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=300) manytomany = models.ManyToManyField(modelA) class modelB(models.Model): name = models.CharField(max_length=300) # forms class modelBForm(forms.ModelForm): class Meta: model = modelB If I then used modelBForm it would show a select box with the models from modelA rather than just name. Thanks

  • Is there a way to get a mobile Safari WebApp to "forget" its state?

    - by Alex Mcp
I have a nascent bridge scoring app that is meant to be stored locally on an iPod touch/iPhone (iPad? Would probably be fugly...) So far so good, got a custom icon rolling and basic JS navigation laid out, but my problem is that it retains its state when I quit the app. Is there a simple magic Apple meta tag for this? Or is it achieved with javascript? Thanks for any insight.

  • Android browser scaling?

    - by Joren
I'm trying to create a mobile website for android. When I set the width of the body to 480px (the width of the screen) the result is about 50% larger than what I expect. It seems that android is scaling what it draws and messing up all my layouts. Does anyone know how to disable this, or work around it? I'm already using this: <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, height=device-height, user-scalable=no, initial-scale=1.0, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0" />
