I've tried setting the global Ext.enableFx to false, and confirmed that flag is still false after page load in Firebug. The animations are still occurring though so I must be doing something wrong.     Hello all, I have a form that has text boxes, buttons on it for the user to sign up and sign in. I need to store the entered sign up credentials in any database(Oracle, Service based database, local database). Then when he tries to sign in, entered credentials should be compared with stored sign up values for authentication. This is done in visual studio, c#.   • Django: What's the correct way to get the requesting IP address?

    I'm trying to develop an app using Django 1.1 on Webfaction. I'd like to get the IP address of the incoming request, but when I use request.META['REMOTE_ADDR'] it returns 127.0.0.1. There seems to be a number of different ways of getting the address, such as using HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR or plugging in some middleware called SetRemoteAddrFromForwardedFor. Just wondering what the best approach was?

It is suppoed to create the database and fields from the form input. It gets to the end and shows my_contacts has been created!. But when i go into phpMyadmin the table has not been created.   • LINQ to SQL filter combobox output

    OK so I've got 2 tables for this instance, Users{UserID, Name}, Company{CompanyID, UserID, Name, Payrate} i also have 2 combo boxes, first one is for Users which Displays Name, and the Value is UserID i need the second combobox to get the Names from the Company table, but only showing Companies that are relevant to the selected user. I cant work out how to get it to go... Any ideas???

As a last resort I'm willing to create them myself - a move that might make them (and my whole application) look amazingly bad. What are some good sources (free or not) where I can get these kinds of programmer icons? I'd like the icons to be at least 32x32 256 color.

  • Displaying bitmaps in relative positions

I understand that the screen sizes of android devices can vary, so I don't think I can just use an x y position or I might end up placing it off different screens. Say I want to put two boxes in the center of the screen, a blue one and a red one. The blue one is to the left of the red one. How can I accomplish that while accounting for different screen sizes?

  • Where can I find a library that parses source code and is able to extract the scope of where your cursor is currently in the code?

    In SublimeText(2), when you press [ctrl + shift + p] (mac osx) you are shown a scope of where your caret/cursor is in the source code at the given moment e.g.: entity.name.tag.inline.any.html meta.tag.inline.any.html text.html.basic I am curious about what library or script is used to parse the document/file and create that scope string. A sidenote: Typing view.syntax_name(view.sel()[0].b) into Sublime's console will output the scope as well.

  • Resize text area to fit all text on load jquery

    I understand there has been a lot of discussion on this but I have yet to find a solution to fix my needs. Basically I need to autogrow a text area not when you type but on load. I am pulling in content from a database and dependant on the user's settings an overlay is produced over the text area, but upon doing this the text areas are not scrollable therefore I need to autosize these to show all the text. I have tried scrollHeight but this is not working great as there are multiple text boxes on the screen Thanks

Using the browser's developer tools you can see that both boxes have an inherited z-index: auto; I can't reproduce this effect on my website (without using z-index). So, my question is: Why is the gray block under the white one?

I mean this in a strong sense: if my program generator compiles, I want the type system to be strong enough that only type-correct programs can be generated. As far as I know, only metaocaml can do this. (No, neither Template Haskell nor C++ templates fit the bill -- see this paper).
