  In mongodb i work with this collection: Size 55.93g Data Size 39.82g Storage Size 41.08g Extents 53 Indexes 4 Index Size 9.64g It takes few seconds of mongdb being up with this single collection and all 48GB RAM on the dedicated server are gone. That's worse because there is also a mysqld+nginx/fcgi on this machine which should be allowed to use at least 24GB together. I.e. remaining 24GB, enough for the mongod! However, it does not share in a fair way. Everybody says that the memory for mongod is managed by OS and releases unneccessary space for other processes if they demand RAM. On my machine it is not releasing RAM. • Bugzilla not sending emails, even to the test file?

  I have installed and setup Bugzilla3 for my domain. Everything is working properly except for the email functionality. The server uses Postfix, and that works for my PHP application, and command line. In Bugzilla, I have tried setting the mail_delivery_method to 'test', and nothing shows up in data/mailer.testfile, it is completely blank... I have no idea where to go from here, any ideas on what to try next?

• How to support 3-byte UTF-8 Characters in ANT

  I am trying to support UTF-8 characters in my ANT script. As long as the character string are made up of 2-byte UTF-8 characters, such as: Lògìñ Ùsèr ÌÐ Then things work fine. When I use Unicode Han Character: ? Which, according to this site: http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/6211/index.htm Has a UTF-8 encoding of 0xE6 0x88 0x91 I can see in UltraEdit, my input properties file has the values "E6 88 91" all in a row, so I'm fairly confident that my input is correct. And When I open the same file in Notepad++ I can see all the characters correctly. • DIV is picking max-width value as width value for DIV.

  I am facing a problem after applying max-width hack for IE7. In mozilla, width of the div is flexible and adjustable as per the image width in the div. But in IE7 it is taking the max-width as width of DIV. Now when I try to view this control in the Form Designer it gives me these errors: The variable 'listBox1' is either undeclared or was never assigned. The variable 'textBox1' is either undeclared or was never assigned. This is obviously wrong as they are defined in MyControlBase with public access. Is there any way to massage Form Designer into allowing me to visually edit my control?

  Greetings, I am trying to perform a copy from one vector (vec1) to another vector (vec2) using the following 2 abbreviated lines of code (full test app follows): vec2.reserve( vec1.size() ); copy(vec1.begin(), vec1.end(), vec2.begin()); While the call to vec2 sets the capacity of vector vec2, the copying of data to vec2 seems to not fill in the values from vec1 to vec2. Replacing the copy() function with calls to push_back() works as expected. What am I missing here? Thanks for your help. vectest.cpp test program followed by resulting output follows. I have a fixed table setting in pixels instead of percentages, so I don't understand why this is an issue. I want the text in the cells to stay in the same position when zooming. The code must be manipulated from the code behind, so I cannot create a separate CSS file. Any help is appreciated. Here are two examples to illustrate what I'm talking about: Normal zoom at 100%: Zoom at 75%: Notice in the second image the two table cells at the bottom are slightly offset to the left. UPDATE: Yes, I understand, we will be implementing a new system in the near future. Obviously this is old and very non-standard, this was dropped in my lap when I started working with it. And we're coming up with plans for a new system to replace it, in the meantime, this is what I have to deal with.

• Why does this Java code not utilize all CPU cores?

  The attached simple Java code should load all available cpu core when starting it with the right parameters. So for instance, you start it with java VMTest 8 int 0 and it will start 8 threads that do nothing else than looping and adding 2 to an integer. Something that runs in registers and not even allocates new memory. The problem we are facing now is, that we do not get a 24 core machine loaded (AMD 2 sockets with 12 cores each), when running this simple program (with 24 threads of course). Similar things happen with 2 programs each 12 threads or smaller machines. So our suspicion is that the JVM (Sun JDK 6u20 on Linux x64) does not scale well. Did anyone see similar things or has the ability to run it and report whether or not it runs well on his/her machine (= 8 cores only please)? Ideas?   How can I get the available height of the screen in Android? I need to the height minus the status bar / menu bar or any other decorations that might be on screen and I need it to work for all devices. Also, I need to know this in the onCreate function. I know this question has been asked before but I have already tried their solutions and none of them work. Here are some of the things I have tried: I have tested this code on API 7 - 17. Unfortunately, on API 13 there is extra space at bottom both horizontally and vertically and on API 10, 8, and 7 there is not enough space at the bottom both horizontally and vertically.
