  • So Close: How to get this SSH login working (.bashrc)

    - by This_Is_Fun
Objective: SSH login ( + eliminate warning message) / run 2 commands / stay logged in: EDIT: Oops, I made a mistake (see below): This code does ~95% of what I wanted to do # .bashrc # Run two commands and stay logged in to new server. alias gr='ssh -t -p 5xx4x [email protected] 2> /dev/null "cd /var; ls; /bin/bash -i"' Now, after successful login / verify user logged in = root pts/0 2011-01-30 22:09 Try to 'logout' = bash: logout: not login shell: use `exit' I seem to have full root access w/o being logged into the shell? (The " /bin/bash -i " was added to 'Stay logged in' but doesn't work quite as expected) FYI: The question is "How to get this SSH login working" & it is mostly solved, sorry I made a mess... ... .. . Original Question Here: # .bashrc # Run two commands and stay logged in to new server. alias gr='ssh -t -p 5xx4x [email protected] "cd /var; ls; /bin/bash -i"' # (hack) Hide "map back to the address - POSSIBLE BREAK-IN ATTEMPT!" message. alias gr='ssh -p 5xx4x [email protected] 2> /dev/null' Both examples 'work' as shown; When I try to add the ' 2 /dev/null ' to the first example, then the whole thing breaks. I'm out of time trying to solve the warning message other ways, so is it possible to combine both examples to make example #1 work w/o the warning message? Thank you. ps. If you also know a proper way to kill the login warning message, please do tell (the 'standard' "edit host file" advice isn't working for me)

  • When using procmail with maildir, it returns error with code I found

    - by bradlis7
I'm not an expert at procmail, but I have this code: DROPPRIVS=yes DEFAULT=$HOME/Maildir/ :0 * ? /usr/bin/test -d $DEFAULT || /bin/mkdir $DEFAULT { } :0 E { # Bail out if directory could not be created EXITCODE=127 HOST=bail.out } MAILDIR=$HOME/Maildir/ But, when the directory already exists, sometimes it will send a return email with this error: 554 5.3.0 unknown mailer error 127. The email still gets delivered, mind you, but it sends back an error code. I fixed this temporarily by commenting out the EXITCODE and HOST lines, but I'd like to know if there is a better solution. I found this block of code in multiple places across the net, but couldn't really find why this error was coming back to me. It seems to happen when I send an email to a local user, sometimes the user has a .forward file to send it on to other users, sometimes not, but the result has been the same. I also tried removing DROPPRIVS, just in case it was messing up the forwarding, but it did not seem to affect it. Is the line starting with * ? /usr/bin/test a problem? The * signifies a regex, but the ? makes it return an integer value, correct? What is the integer being matched against? Or is it just comparing the integer return value? Thanks for the help.

  • Nagios 403 forbidden, indexes?

    - by Georgi
installed nagios under freebsd 9, but can't get the right way to be public in browser (from other pc's). I think that the problem is in the indexes or that there is not index file (instead main.php). Apache says that syntax is ok. The permissions of the dir are 777. The logs print Directory index forbidden by Options directive: /usr/local/www/nagios/. This is my configuration: ScriptAlias /nagios/cgi-bin/ /usr/local/www/nagios/cgi-bin/ Alias /nagios /usr/local/www/nagios/ <Directory /usr/local/www/nagios> Options +Indexes FollowSymLinks +ExecCGI AllowOverride Indexes AuthConfig FileInfo Order allow, deny Allow from all AuthName "Nagios Access" AuthType Basic AuthUSerFile /usr/local/etc/nagios/htpasswd.users Require valid-user </Directory> <Directory /usr/local/www/nagios/cgi-bin> Options +ExecCGI AllowOverride None Order allow, deny Allow from all AuthName "Nagios Access" AuthType Basic AuthUSerFile /usr/local/etc/nagios/htpasswd.users Require valid-user </Directory> I think that the problem is in idexes, maybe? When I remove the options it's public and available but lists the files and says that idnexes are forbidden..

  • How to setup a virtual host in Ubuntu?

    - by Rade
I have an app that's accessible via 1.2.3.4/myapp. The app is installed in /var/www/myapp. I've set up a subdomain(apps.mydomain.com) that points to 1.2.3.4. I want the server to point to var/www/myapp if I type apps.mydomain.com/myapp, how do I do that? I have experience creating virtual hosts(lots of them) locally but I'm lost because it's now in production and it's a little different. Here's my virtual host config: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost ServerName apps.mydomain.com/myapp DocumentRoot /var/www/myapp/public <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All </Directory> <Directory /var/www/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride All Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. LogLevel warn CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined </VirtualHost> Any idea why I still see the files instead of pointing me to the document root? Just in case someone might ask, the app is based on Laravel 4 framework. It's really bad right now because anyone can access the files from the browser.

  • Apache2 on Raspbian: Multiviews is enabled but not working [closed]

    - by Christian L
I recently moved webserver, from a ubuntuserver set up by my brother (I have sudo) to a rasbianserver set up by my self. On the other server multiviews worked out of the box, but on the raspbian it does not seem to work althoug it seems to be enabled out of the box there as well. What I am trying to do is to get it to find my.doma.in/mobile.php when I enter my.doma.in/mobile in the adress field. I am using the same available-site-file as I did before, the file looks as this: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerName my.doma.in ServerAdmin [email protected] DocumentRoot /home/christian/www/do <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All </Directory> <Directory /home/christian/www/do> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride None Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. LogLevel warn CustomLog ${APACHE_LOG_DIR}/access.log combined Alias /doc/ "/usr/share/doc/" <Directory "/usr/share/doc/"> Options Indexes MultiViews FollowSymLinks AllowOverride None Order deny, allow Deny from all Allow from 127.0.0.0/255.0.0.0 ::1/128 </Directory> From what I have read various places while googling this issue I found that the negotiation module had to be enabled so I tried to enable it. sudo a2enmod negotiation Giving me this result Module negotiation already enabled I have read through the /etc/apache2/apache2.conf and I did not find anything in particular that seemed to be helping me there, but please do ask if you think I should post it. Any ideas on how to solve this through getting Multiviews to work?

  • How to fix locale settings in Debian squeeze

    - by blogjunkie
I occasionally get locale errors and I've tried to run dpkg-reconfigure locales to fix the problem. Here's the output: :~$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset), LC_CTYPE = "UTF-8", LANG = "en_US.UTF-8" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory /usr/bin/locale: Cannot set LC_CTYPE to default locale: No such file or directory /usr/bin/locale: Cannot set LC_ALL to default locale: No such file or directory Generating locales (this might take a while)... en_US.UTF-8... done Generation complete. perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset), LC_CTYPE = "UTF-8", LANG = "C" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). perl: warning: Setting locale failed. perl: warning: Please check that your locale settings: LANGUAGE = (unset), LC_ALL = (unset), LC_CTYPE = "UTF-8", LANG = "C" are supported and installed on your system. perl: warning: Falling back to the standard locale ("C"). I looked for /usr/bin/locale but it doesn't exist on my system. Do I need to create it? What do I put in there? Also I found a related question that says the cause of his problem was in the sshd_config file. The file had the following entry: AcceptEnv LANG LC_* I'm mainly concerned that it may cause problems for my VPS, otherwise if it's nothing major I'll be happy to ignore the problem. What should I do? thanks!

  • How can I use the Homebrew Python with Homebrew MacVim on Mountain Lion?

    - by Stephen Jennings
I originally asked and answered this question: How can I use the Homebrew Python version with Homebrew MacVim? These instructions worked on Snow Leopard using Xcode 4.0.1 and associated developer tools. However, they no longer seem to work on Mountain Lion with Xcode 4.4.1. My goal is to leave the system's version of Python completely untouched, and to only install PyPI packages into Homebrew's site-packages directory. I want to use the vim_bridge package in MacVim, so I need to compile MacVim against the Homebrew version of Python. I've edited the MacVim formula to add these to the arguments: --enable-pythoninterp=dynamic --with-python-config-dir=/usr/local/Cellar/python/2.7.3/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/Current/lib/python2.7/config Then I install with the command: brew install macvim --override-system-vim --custom-icons --with-cscope --with-lua However, it still seems to be somehow using Python 2.7.2 from the system. This seems strange to me because it also seems to be using the correct executable. :python print(sys.version) 2.7.2 (default, Jun 20 2012, 16:23:33) [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple Clang 4.0 (tags/Apple/clang-418.0.60)] :python print(sys.executable) /usr/local/bin/python $ /usr/local/bin/python --version Python 2.7.3 $ /usr/local/bin/python -c "import sys; print(sys.version)" 2.7.3 (default, Aug 12 2012, 21:17:22) [GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple Clang 4.0 ((tags/Apple/clang-421.0.60))] $ readlink /usr/local/lib/python2.7/config /usr/local/Cellar/python/2.7.3/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/Current/lib/python2.7/config I've removed everything in /usr/local and reinstalled Homebrew by running these commands: $ ruby <(curl -fsSkL raw.github.com/mxcl/homebrew/go) $ brew install git mercurial python ruby $ brew install macvim (nope, still broken) $ brew remove macvim $ ln -s /usr/local/Cellar/python/..../python2.7/config /usr/local/lib/python2.7/config $ brew install macvim

  • Sharing disk volumes across OpenVZ guests to reduce Package Management Overhead

    - by andyortlieb
Is it feasible to create a single "master" OpenVZ guest who would only be used for package management, and use something like mount --bind on several other OpenVZ guests sort of trick them into using the environment installed by the master guest? The point of this would be so that users can maintain their own containers, and yet stay in sync with the master development environment, so they'll always have the latest & greatest requirements without worrying too much about system administration. If they need to install their own packages, could put them in /opt, or /usr/local (or set a path to their home directory)? To rephrase, I would like several (developer's, for example) OpenVZ guests whose /bin, /usr (and so on...) actually refer to the same disk location as that of a master OpenVZ guest who can be started up to install and update common packages for the environment to be shared by all of this group of OpenVZ guests. For what it's worth, we're running Debian 6. Edit: I have tried mounting (bind, and readonly) /bin, /lib, /sbin, /usr in this fashion and it refuses to start the containers stating that files are already mounted or otherwise in use: Starting container ... vzquota : (error) Quota on syscall for id 1102: Device or resource busy vzquota : (error) Possible reasons: vzquota : (error) - Container's root is already mounted vzquota : (error) - there are opened files inside Container's private area vzquota : (error) - your current working directory is inside Container's vzquota : (error) private area vzquota : (error) Currently used file(s): /var/lib/vz/private/1102/sbin /var/lib/vz/private/1102/usr /var/lib/vz/private/1102/lib /var/lib/vz/private/1102/bin vzquota on failed [3] If I unmount these four volumes, and start the guest, and then mount them after the guest has started, the guest never sees them mounted.

  • Unable to Access Localhost after starting Xampp

    - by user7370
OS: Windows XP Professional, SP 2. Few days back i had xampplite 1.7.1 installed and was able to access localhost and phpmyadmin through browser...... Today it suddenly stopped working. In firefox after i type http://localhost/ nothing happens, just blank white screen. I removed all the files in xampplite folders and re-installed ver 1.7.1 again, it's of no use. Then i installed xampplite 1.7.2 (latest), which i had downloaded from xampp website, again it's of no use. Apache and MySql are running though. I tried using locally installing wordpress, as i have a theme ready and want to convert that design to wordpress, test it and start using it online. Running 'Port-check' on xampp control panel showed this -- RESULT ------ Service -- -- Port -- -- Status -- --------------------------------------------------- Apache (HTTP) -- 80 -- C:\xampplite\apache\bin\httpd.exe Apache (WebDAV) -- 81 -- free Apache (HTTPS) -- 443 -- C:\xampplite\apache\bin\httpd.exe MySQL -- 3306 -- C:\xampplite\mysql\bin\mysqld.exe FileZilla (FTP) -- 21 -- free FileZilla (Admin) -- 14147 -- free Mercury (SMTP) -- 25 -- free Mercury (POP3) -- 110 -- free Mercury (IMAP) -- 143 -- free Mercury (HTTP) -- 2224 -- free Mercury (Finger) -- 79 -- free Mercury (PH) -- 105 -- free Mercury (PopPass) -- 106 -- free Tomcat (AJP/1.3) -- 8009 -- free Tomcat (HTTP) -- 8080 -- free --------------------------------------------- I also Have skype installed but it's not using 'Port 80' (as i have read, this was the issue, but checked under skype option the port is 65013). And when i run file:///C:/xampp/htdocs/index.php - it shows "Something is wrong with the XAMPP installation :-( " Please help with this problem. thanks Sharath kumar

  • Can't get .htaccess to work

    - by orokusaki
I'm using Apache2 on Ubuntu Lucid Lynx. I have config set to use .htaccess like normal. This is my default site: <VirtualHost *:80> ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost DocumentRoot /var/www <Directory /> Options FollowSymLinks AllowOverride All </Directory> <Directory /var/www/> Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews AllowOverride All Order allow, deny allow from all </Directory> ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/ <Directory "/usr/lib/cgi-bin"> AllowOverride All Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch Order allow, deny Allow from all </Directory> ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/error.log # Possible values include: debug, info, notice, warn, error, crit, # alert, emerg. My .htaccess file looks like this: //Rewrite all requests to www Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^mydomain.com [nc] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.mydomain.com/$1 [r=301,nc] //301 Redirect "old_junk.html" File to "new_junk.html" Redirect 301 /old_junk.html /new_junk.html //301 Redirect Entire Directory "old_junk/" to "new_junk/" RedirectMatch 301 /old_junk/(.*) /new_junk//$1 // Copy and paste redirect examples from above: (with mydomain replaced with my actual domain... and my computer is plugged in)

  • Can't seem to get python to work

    - by Justin Johnson
I'm just starting out in Python. The Python interpreter works from the command line (I have 2.4.3), but I can't seem to get Apache to execute Python scripts. All I end up with is a blank screen and nothing in the Apache error logs. I enabled Python via the Plesk control panel. Here's the snippet that was generated in the httpd.include: <Files ~ (\.py$)> SetHandler python-program PythonHandler mod_python.cgihandler </Files> My test script is one of the examples that comes with the Python downloads at http://python.org/download/ #!/usr/local/bin/python """CGI test 1 - check server setup.""" # Until you get this to work, your web server isn't set up right or # your Python isn't set up right. # If cgi0.sh works but cgi1.py doesn't, check the #! line and the file # permissions. The docs for the cgi.py module have debugging tips. print("Content-type: text/html") print() print("<h1>Hello world</h1>") print("<p>This is cgi1.py") That wasn't working, so I changed #!/usr/local/bin/python to #!/usr/bin/python which is what which python tells me but the results were the same. Like I said, I'm ending up with a blank page. No errors that I know of, unless I'm checking the wrong error log (I'm checking the Apache error log). I'm on a MediaTemple (dv) running CentOS.

  • Updating Dell PowerEdge firmware on Ubuntu?

    - by Shtééf
The company I work for recently got hands on a batch of second hand PowerEdge SC1425 machines. We'd like to put these to good use. Our operating system of choice is Ubuntu Server 10.04 64-bit, which installs just peachy on this type of machine. Now I'd like to install the firmware updates from Dell, which are apparently marked as recommended. This includes the updates for the BIOS, the BMC, and possibly some other hardware. I find it incredibly difficult to locate the files on the Dell website, and install any of them on an Ubuntu system: I downloaded the file OM_6.2.0_SUU_A01.iso. I believe I've read that the SUU DVD should be able to update any recent PowerEdge. Is this correct? Is this the latest version? Besides the version number, does A01 have any meaning? Is this image bootable? (At the moment, I just nosed around with a loop device mount.) Running /bin/bash ./suu from the DVD, I get: # /bin/bash ./suu ./suu: line 262: ./java/linux/i386/bin/java: No such file or directory The file exists and is executable, though. But I cannot execute it directly from the shell either.

  • Parallel Environment (PE) on Sun Grid Engine (6.2u5) won't run jobs: "only offers 0 slots"

    - by Peter Van Heusden
I have Sun Grid Engine set up (version 6.2u5) on a Ubuntu 10.10 server with 8 cores. In order to be able to reserve multiple slots, I have a parallel environment (PE) set up like this: pe_name serial slots 999 user_lists NONE xuser_lists NONE start_proc_args /bin/true stop_proc_args /bin/true allocation_rule $pe_slots control_slaves FALSE job_is_first_task TRUE urgency_slots min accounting_summary FALSE This is associated with the all.q on the server in question (let's call the server A). However, when I submit a job that uses 4 threads with e.g. qsub -q all.q@A -pe serial 4 mycmd.sh, it never gets scheduled, and I get the following reasoning from qstat: cannot run in PE "serial" because it only offers 0 slots Why is SGE saying "serial" only offers 0 slots, since there are 8 slots available on the server I specified (server A)? The queue in question is configured thus (server names changed): qname all.q hostlist @allhosts seq_no 0 load_thresholds np_load_avg=1.75 suspend_thresholds NONE nsuspend 1 suspend_interval 00:05:00 priority 0 min_cpu_interval 00:05:00 processors UNDEFINED qtype BATCH INTERACTIVE ckpt_list NONE pe_list make orte serial rerun FALSE slots 1,[D=32],[C=8], \ [B=30],[A=8] tmpdir /tmp shell /bin/sh prolog NONE epilog NONE shell_start_mode posix_compliant starter_method NONE suspend_method NONE resume_method NONE terminate_method NONE notify 00:00:60 owner_list NONE user_lists NONE xuser_lists NONE subordinate_list NONE complex_values NONE projects NONE xprojects NONE calendar NONE initial_state default s_rt INFINITY h_rt 08:00:00 s_cpu INFINITY h_cpu INFINITY s_fsize INFINITY h_fsize INFINITY s_data INFINITY h_data INFINITY s_stack INFINITY h_stack INFINITY s_core INFINITY h_core INFINITY s_rss INFINITY h_rss INFINITY s_vmem INFINITY h_vmem INFINITY,[A=30g], \ [B=5g]

  • How can I have puppet deploy ssh keys for virtual users?

    - by Pheezy
    I am trying to get puppet to assign authorized ssh keys for virtual users but I keep getting the following error: err: Could not retrieve catalog: Could not parse for environment production: Syntax error at 'user'; expected '}' at /etc/puppet/modules/users/manifests/ssh_authorized_keys.pp:9 I believe my configuration are correct (listed below) but is there a syntax error or scoping issue I am missing? I would simply like to assign users to nodes and have those users automagically have their ssh keys installed. Is there maybe a better way to do this and I'm just overthinking it? # /etc/puppet/modules/users/virtual.pp class user::virtual { @user { "user": home => "/home/user", ensure => "present", groups => ["root","wheel"], uid => "8001", password => "SCRAMBLED", comment => "User", shell => "/bin/bash", managehome => "true", } # /etc/puppet/modules/users/manifests/ssh_authorized_keys.pp ssh_authorized_key { "user": ensure => "present", type => "ssh-dss", key => "AAAAB....", user => "user", } # /etc/puppet/modules/users/init.pp import "users.pp" import "ssh_authorized_keys.pp" class user::ops inherits user::virtual { realize( User["user"], ) } # /etc/puppet/manifests/modules.pp import "sudo" import "users" # /etc/puppet/manifests/nodes.pp node basenode { include sudo } node 'testbox' inherits basenode { include user::ops } # /etc/puppet/manifests/site.pp import "modules" import "nodes" # The filebucket option allows for file backups to the server filebucket { main: server => 'puppet' } # Set global defaults - including backing up all files to the main filebucket and adds a global path File { backup => main } Exec { path => "/usr/bin:/usr/sbin/:/bin:/sbin" }

  • Sporadic crash of master-slave MySQL replication process

    - by obarshay
Hello, I was wondering if someone has experienced this and can perhaps provide some insight into this issue. We have a plan-vanilla MySQL master-slave replication set up. The tables are MyISAM and the master can get quite read/write active. We use the slave instance to perform full daily backups in order to avoid bringing down the master server. The backup process does the following: STOP SLAVE SQL_THREAD mysqlhotcopy all tables START SLAVE SQL_THREAD Every once in a while (once a month or so) the replication breaks with varying error messages indicating a corrupt query or log file. Here's one that happened last night: mysql> show slave status \G *************************** 1. row *************************** Slave_IO_State: Waiting for master to send event Master_Host: server8.propreports.com Master_User: nexus8 Master_Port: 3306 Connect_Retry: 60 Master_Log_File: bin.000045 Read_Master_Log_Pos: 581644327 Relay_Log_File: relay.000086 Relay_Log_Pos: 94131 Relay_Master_Log_File: bin.000045 Slave_IO_Running: Yes Slave_SQL_Running: No Replicate_Do_DB: Replicate_Ignore_DB: Replicate_Do_Table: Replicate_Ignore_Table: Replicate_Wild_Do_Table: Replicate_Wild_Ignore_Table: Last_Errno: 1064 Last_Error: Error 'You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '138070603'£' at line 1' on query. Default database: 'wtsdb'. Query: 'UPDATE fill SET clearing_fee='0.0E id='138070603'£' Skip_Counter: 0 Exec_Master_Log_Pos: 4164743 Relay_Log_Space: 577574251 Until_Condition: None Until_Log_File: Until_Log_Pos: 0 Master_SSL_Allowed: No Master_SSL_CA_File: Master_SSL_CA_Path: Master_SSL_Cert: Master_SSL_Cipher: Master_SSL_Key: Seconds_Behind_Master: NULL I follow the following procedure to recover from above error and resume replication: stop slave; change master to MASTER_LOG_POS = 4164743, MASTER_LOG_FILE = 'bin.000045'; start slave; We have multiple servers set up this way and they all sporadically stop replicating with a similar error. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

  • Syntax Error when setting up Domain Alias

    - by Poundtrader
I'm attempting to set up a domain alias via Pre VirtualHost Include and I'm recieving the following error: Error: An error occurred while running: /usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -DSSL -t -f /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf Exit signal was: 0 Exit value was: 1 Output was: --- Syntax error on line 15 of /usr/local/apache/conf/includes/pre_virtualhost_global.conf: CustomLog takes two or three arguments, a file name, a custom log format string or format name, and an optional "env=" clause (see docs) --- Basically I have two domains, the main domain has an opencart installation within a directory (/buy) and I'm attempting to use the multi-store function which allows you to administer multiple stores on multiple domains via the one opencart dashboard. My issue is that I have the opencart installations within the /buy directory so I have been given the following code which should allow me to use this functionality over the multiple cPanel accounts within the same VPS. <VirtualHost 87.117.239.29:80> ServerName newdomain.co.uk ServerAlias www.newdomain.co.uk Alias /buy /home/originaldomain/public_html/buy/ DocumentRoot /home/newdom/public_html ServerAdmin [email protected] ## User newdom # Needed for Cpanel::ApacheConf <IfModule mod_suphp.c> suPHP_UserGroup newdom newdom </IfModule> <IfModule mod_ruid2.c> RUidGid newdom newdom </IfModule> CustomLog /usr/local/apache/domlogs/newdomain.co.uk-bytes_log “%{%s}t %I .\n%{%s}t %O .” CustomLog /usr/local/apache/domlogs/newdomain.co.uk combined ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ /home/newdom/public_html/cgi-bin/ </VirtualHost> Does anyone know how to get this code to work? Thanks,

  • vhost configuration for owncloud

I'm using apache2 for hosting owncloud. I configured a vhost file for owncloud, but every time I go on the site my browser downloads a ruby file.
