    I need to create a clients details report for a web based application in c#.Net. There will be multiple client details one by one. When take print of this web page, the first page will be the cover page and the remaining pages contains clients details. The pages except the cover page should be numbered “page x of y” in the centre of the footer. The top of each page should display the client name that is the subject of the sub-report. If part of a sub-report section spans onto a new page, the whole section should be moved to the new page. Any solution for implementing this?

  • iPhone - finding items in current entity that share related item

    G'day Folks My core data driven app has an Events entity, essentially a list of times & venues, with a related Acts entity, the names & bios of the acts appearing at those events. I have a table view that shows the event time & venue (as a table section with 1 row), the act name & act bio that works nicely. If that act is appearing at more than one event I'd like to include another table section that lists those events. I think could get that with event.act.events except that it would include the event I'm currently displaying. Can anyone suggest how to get the data I want & exclude the current record?     I have a website (coded in vb.net) with an "admin" section (the admin section being a folder in the actual site)... So in every page of the site I'm using my own custom class as the page base (which has been set in the web.config file) but I want to inherit from different class for the files in the "admin" folder... Is there any way to inherit different classes for pages in different folders using the web.config or some other equally as global method? (meaning some other way than inheriting on a per page basis.)

    Hello, some journals require each figure to be submitted in a separate document. However, they do want the figure legends to be listed in the main document. I was thus hoping to do something along these lines: \section{Figure Legends} \begin{description} \item[Figure \ref{fig:fireAntBiology}] \label{fig:fireAntBiology} bla bla ants \end{description} This would still permit to \ref the figure from the main text. However, it doesn't work (The \ref returns the number of section "Figure Legends"). The following correctly gives a different number to each "figure": \item[Figure \ref{fig:fireAntBiology}] \begin{figure} \caption{\label{fig:fireAntBiology}} \end{figure} bla bla ants However, it also places empty figure floats throughout the document.   • Avoid duplicate custom post type posts in multiple loops in Wordpress

    I am running two loops with a custom post type of Portfolio (ID of 3). The first loop is for Featured and the second is for the rest. I plan on having more than 3 Featured posts in random order. I would like to have the Featured ones that aren't displaying in the first loop to show up in my second loop.   • JQuery: Specify placement of error messages inline using Metadata and Validate plugins

    I'm doing form validation using JQuery with the validate and metadata plugins. I'm using the metadata plugin so I can specify the rules and messages inline in the html form instead of in the javascript in the page . I'm getting an error when I try to specify the location of the error message using errorPlacement. (If I specify it in the section it works fine, but not if I specify it inline.)     I am using rails3 beta3 and couchdb via couchrest. I am not using active record. I want to add multiple "Sections" to a "Guide" and add and remove sections dynamically via a little javascript. I have looked at all the screencasts by Ryan Bates and they have helped immensely. The only difference is that I want to save all the sections as an array of sections instead of individual sections. Basically like this: "sections" => [{"title" => "Foo1", "content" => "Bar1"}, {"title" => "Foo2", "content" => "Bar2"}] So, basically I need the params hash to look like that when the form is submitted. When I create my form I am doing the following: <%= form_for @guide, :url => { :action => "create" } do |f| %> <%= render :partial => 'section', :collection => @guide.sections %> <%= f.submit "Save" %> <% end %> And my section partial looks like this: <%= fields_for "sections[]", section do |guide_section_form| %> <%= guide_section_form.text_field :section_title %> <%= guide_section_form.text_area :content, :rows => 3 %> <% end %> Ok, so when I create the guide with sections, it is working perfectly as I would like. The params hash is giving me a sections array just like I would want. The problem comes when I want edit guide/sections and save them again because rails is inserting the id of the guide in the id and name of each form field, which is screwing up the params hash on form submission. Do I have to create a custom form builder? Is there some other trick I can do to prevent rails from putting the id of the guide in there? I have tried a bunch of stuff and nothing is working.     Hi all, I am trying to create a page that shows the user their zip code when they are on my page. (if any of you are familiar with GeoIP data, thats what I am using. ) I have a conversion that converts the users IP address into an IP number, that conversion is: ipnum = 16777216*w + 65536*x + 256*y + z where w.x.y.z are the ip sections (000.000.000.000) My question is, using $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR']; is there a way for me to section the users ip address and assign the section of the ip address to variables? for example: usersip = 192.168.123.5 w = 192; x = 168; y = 123; z = 5; Thanks!

    I'm building a simple flash site for a friend who has a spa. I keep getting this error: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at spa7_fla::MainTimeline/frame1() through the process of commenting out code, i've narrowed down to my link section: vox_link.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK,gotoVox); function gotoVox(evtObj:Event):void { var voxSite:URLRequest=new URLRequest("http://www.voxmundiproject.com"); navigateToURL(voxSite, "_blank"); } With this section commented out, i don't get the 1009 error. When the code is active, I get the error. My code syntax is correct so I'm stumped. Does someone have an idea what my be wrong? Thanks!

  • How do I temporarily monkey with a global module constant?

    Greetings, I want to tinker with the global memcache object, and I found the following problems. Cache is a constant Cache is a module I only want to modify the behavior of Cache globally for a small section of code for a possible major performance gain. Since Cache is a module, I can't re-assign it, or encapsulate it. I Would Like To Do This: Deep in a controller method... code code code... old_cache = Cache Cache = MyCache.new code code code... Cache = old_cache code code code... However, since Cache is a constant I'm forbidden to change it. Threading is not an issue at the moment. :) Would it be "good manners" for me to just alias_method the special code I need just for a small section of code and then later unalias it again? That doesn't pass the smell test IMHO. Does anyone have any ideas? TIA, -daniel

  • Drupal. Use AJAX to update view's content

    Hi, I've created a view in Drupal that retrieves a list of nodes. The display of this view is a page and it works perfectly well. It does even allow me to filter its content by argument. See the current's view configuration (click to enlarge): I want to use AJAX to use the filter (by parameter) functionality without reloading the page. I've enabled the "Use AJAX" option but I am not sure on how to continue. Any ideas on how to do that? By the way, I'm building my own theme (in case that changes anything). Thanks in advance Update: Basically, this view works when I browse through section/parameter1, section/parameter2... but I want to do the same with AJAX, without reloading the page.   • CSS/HTML: Highlighting the "full width avaialble" to a list item

    I'm working on a website for a small law office. In the side-menu, I'm trying to highlight the "current page". I have tried changing the background of the LI, but this doesn't quite do the trick; the list item doesn't spread to the full width of the menu, so it looks bad. Here's a jfiddle. I would like the yellow section to highlight like the pink section is highlighted: filling up the full vertical and horizontal space, not just highlighting the text. Any suggestions on how to do this? I've included the style tag in the html just for example, obviously, and my real solution will be a little different when it's done. But I can't move forward until I figure out how to somehow highlight the entire line.

  • Diff tool that can compare sub-sections of files

    I'm looking for a diff tool that will allow me to compare just a sub-section of a file with a section of another file, or even of itself. Preferably eclipse based but will take all suggestions. Yes I know I can copy out the two sections into different files and compare those, but that is very tedious when you are trying to do a large amount of refactoring. Basically I'm trying to remove as much duplicated code as possible from a code base that is suffering from a great deal of ctrl-V 'inheritance' ;-) However the pasted parts have evolved apart a little over time.

  • CSS Issue in Firefox/IE

    I'm working on a site's CSS and am running across an issue with the body margin section. If you look at this in Firefox and then IE, you can see the line isn't lined up right in Firefox, but it is in IE. (In the black header section).   • Persisting a single UISearchBar instance across 4 separate UITableViews

    Hi fellas, I'm in the midst of an iPhone app that needs to have 4 separate UITableView objects sharing access to one UISearchBar in the first section and first row of the aforementioned UITableView objects. I have tried to offset the UITableView's frame by 44 pixels, then adding the search bar as a subview of my UIViewController's view. That works, but I cannot use the table index to scroll up to the search bar, since it is not a cell in the tableview. I need to have the search bar in the table view itself. My goal is to have the same UISearchBar in the first section of multiple tableviews. Thanks so much.

I currently have the following redirect, which works well: # remove trailing slash RewriteRule ^(.*)/$ /$1 [L,R=301] # redirect to clean URL RewriteCond /%{REQUEST_FILENAME}.php -f RewriteRule ^([a-zA-Z0-9_-\s]+)$ /$1.php This takes a URL like www.mysite.com/about to www.mysite.com/about.php Now I would like to keep this behavior, but add parameters (if applicable), as such: www.mysite.com/about = www.mysite.com/about.php www.mysite.com/gallery/1 = www.mysite.com/gallery.php?id=1 If possible, I might like to expand this system to 2 or more parameters, as such: www.mysite.com/gallery/1/2 = www.mysite.com/gallery.php?id=1&section=2 So the pattern would be: First URL segment redirects to a PHP file (Optionally) the second segment gets added as the id parameter (Optionally) the third segment gets added as the section parameter

    I tried making a custom configuration class that went on like this: WatcherServiceInfoSection<TWatcherServiceDetailElement> where TWatcherServiceDetailElement is a ConfigurationElement inside it. Now when I call the type in the ConfigSections area of AppConfig I get the error: An error occurred creating the configuration section handler for WatcherServiceInfo: Could not load type 'Library.Common.Utilities.ConfigurationHandler.WatcherServiceInfoSection<ASNDPService.Configuration.WatcherServiceDetailElement>' from assembly Is what I'm doing possible? Can I have generic types in the type attribute for a custom section element? EDIT Additionally, how about ConfigurationElementCollection objects? Like in the above example, how could I do a [ConfigurationProperty("WatcherServiceDetails", IsRequired = true, IsDefaultCollection = true)] [ConfigurationCollection(typeof(TWatcherServiceDetailElement), AddItemName = "WatcherServiceDetail")] public WatcherServiceDetailCollection<TWatcherServiceDetailElement> WatcherServiceDetails I'm aware that type parameters aren't allowed for attributes and that's what I want to know how to do.
