• Installing List Compenent on Sharepoint Server

  I added the Sharepoint site to the 'Document Management' section in CRM with the List Components checked and it added it with no problem. Also when I navigate to the 'Documents' section under an account it shows up with the format of the List components. However, if i click on 'New' or 'Actions' I get the following error message: An Error has occured in the script on this page. Error: Access is denied URL: https://*serveraddress*/crmgrid/scripts/crmmenu.htc Do you want to continue running scripts on this page? I have ran the power script which added the MIME .htc extention to IIS. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

• Sendmail - preventing aliased users from receiving multiple copies of the same email

  Is there any way to prevent a user from receiving multiple copies of the same email if an email is sent to both an alias for the user as well as the user themselves? For example, suppose bob.smith is a included in the alias list for developers (@company.com) If I send the email to both the user and an alias for the user: To: [email protected], [email protected] ... is there any way to prevent user Bob from receiving the same email two times? EDIT: I've observed that if Bob is a member of two different alias groups, and I send an email just to those two groups (not the user directly), sendmail correctly expands the groups and removes the duplicate. The behavior I want to fix occurs when you send directly to the user AND a group they belong to.

• Mac OS X Finder - Creating New Folder with Right-Click in List View

  I am aware that when using Finder in List view, I can create a new folder by right-clicking on an empty row, and pressing 'New Folder'. However, when I happen to be browsing a folder with quite a lot of files (or just enough to invoke a scrollbar), there are no blank rows, and hence nowhere that I can right-click to create a new folder. This is not a big problem, I am just a whinger who likes consistency and find this frustrating. Yes, I am aware that I can press Shift + Cmd + N, or can simply change the Finder view. BUT, is there a way to do this within list view? Am I missing something obvious? Edit: oh, and I'm using Snow Leopard (version 10.6) :)

• firefox: getting access to the list of tabs/windows to restore on startup

  Sometimes ffox fails to restore the previously open tabs/windows. This might be happening when some of the urls to be opened are no longer reachable (e.g. behind a vpn) or after the underlying OS (Windows) has been forcibly restarted (e.g. to complete an automated patch installation). Anyway, after restarting, can this list of urls be recovered somehow? Say for example, I was daft enough to have clicked on "start new session". Can I still get access to the old list of open urls? There is the browser history of course, but it contains a lot of stuff - the urls that were open when ffox last exited are not obvious. It would be neat if they were marked in some way - tagged for example. .robb

  Can anyone provide a reference or explain how the icons to the alt-tab list is populated? I would like to specify some icons for some programs that do not have icons, e.g. xterm. I'm using Ubuntu 11.04 with Gnome 2 (Ubuntu Classic) and metacity as the window manager. I did see this thread that mentions /usr/share/pixmap/, but if I use cp gnome-terminal.xpm xterm.xpm the icon was not populated in the alt-tab icon list (even after a logout/login). I do see that the icon is populated when I added the xterm command to the Program Menu.

I have a list of passwords, around 2000, and want to check them against this policy Password must contain a minimum of eight (8) characters Password must contain at least one letter Password must contain at least one number Password must contain at least one punctuation character And count how many compliant with that policy before we save them. Is there any tool, script or maybe rules in excel to do this instead of doing it manually? Could you please help me?

• I want to make an item on a Windows 7 Jump List run as administrator

  Only occasionally I have to open a Visual Studio project with a VS instance running under admin. This is a little inconvenient because I can't use the short-cut for that project in the VS Jump List. How can I modify the Jump List entry to force VS to open that project running as admin? Please note that I'm not trying to avoid providing admin auth to do this. I'm just trying to avoid having to run VS as admin, and then having to open the project from within VS once it opens.

  I'm trying to figure out how to get the ToDo list filtered for just one account? I've tried customizing the view, and using the advanced filter to get just one Oulook Data file, but once I do that the filter goes bonkers and I get all sorts of results! I know it's a combination of email flags and true tasks, and tried combining filters to pull those conditions together, and simply can't get it to cooperate. Before 2010, when the only way to get multiple mailboxes was to add additional mailboxes to the primary account, the task list pulled from just the primary account - but of course, the secondary accounts are not cached and available offline.

  I am trying to create a dependent drop down list for a High School. The User will select cell A1, Click on Hallway 3(for example), then the user will click on cell A1 again and then select the Room #, 325 (for example). The final result should be that cell A1 shows 325. I can create the first drop down list, but the second part is where I am having great trouble. I am using Excel 2010. Any help would be appreciated.   We've been using Trac for a while now for our developers only. However we are now opening it up for our (internal) clients. We have a project listing page (based on the default one that comes with Trac). What we'd like to do, is display more information about the project than what is currently available. I have searched google and here, to see if I can find how to get more information. There seems to be a variable called $project which has .name, .description and .href as attributes. Is there somewhere, a list of the attributes available? Or perhaps a different solution altogether that will allow us to display more information on the project list page. Such as the number of open tickets etc.

  I would like to uninstall a Sharepoint application template (GroupBoard Workspace to be exact) but I want to make sure nothing currently relies on it. I don't see any functions within stsadm that will tell me this information and I have even tried SPM which would work, but with such a huge site it's tedious to go through every single web and page to see which features are in use. Is there a way (probably with SQL using the id from stsadm -o enumsolutions) to list everything that relies on a template within a given solution, including webparts on custom pages? If this is not possible, what is the best way to check dependencies prior to uninstalling a solution (especially since GBW is not the only one on my axe list.) Note: I know that stsadm -o deletesolution will stop me from removing something that is in use, but I want to see all of the things that are using a given solution.

  I have two Brother MFC-8890DW. When scanning over the network, it shows a list of PCs (on the scanner display) to save to that have the software/drivers installed. Each PC is listed as the name of the employee for that computer. I have setup a third MFC-8890DW and installed on these computers. The list, however, is the computer name. Somehow it is possible to customize the name. Brother support did not know. I couldn't find anything in manuals. I thought I remember setting up those names before.

  I'm looking for a Windows feature or third-party tool that can produce a list of active processes (as in the task manager) with the command line used to start each process. e.g. if I launch "php.exe -q script.php" in a command line, during the execution of my process, I'd like to see this command in the list and not only "php.exe" Tasklist, process explorer, taskinfo... can't give this information and/or make it available in a text format. There are a lot of great to do list sites out there, but for some reason most of them have only one subtask level or no subtasks at all. I know about todoist, but its interface doesn't work for me. This works fine for looking up a value from a single row, but I want to be able to look up multiple rows, sum the results, and divide by the number of rows referenced. List<Integer> zooIds = cz ids + czList ids; Of course I can create two methods to do what I want: public List<Integer> getIdsFromFlatList(Collection<ZooEntity> list) { List<Integer> ids = new ArrayList<Integer>(); for (ZooEntity z : list) { ids.add(z.getId()); } return ids; } public List<Integer> getIdsFromNestedList(Collection<List<ZooEntity>> list) { List<Integer> ids = new ArrayList<Integer>(); for (List<ZooEntity> zList : list) { for (ZooEntity z : zList) { ids.add(z.getId()); } } return ids; } As you can see those two methods are very similar and here is my question: Is it good to create one method (for example using generics) which will get ids from those two lists (zoos and groupOfZoos). If yes how it should look like? If no what is the best solution? BTW. This is only the example. I've got very similar problem at job and I want to do it in preety way (I can't change enities, I can change only getIds...() methods).
