    You can push things to buffer with ^Q and pop them with ESC-g. Alt+x vi-set-buffer changes buffer somehow. How can I see all the buffers? They are probably some files to look at.

  • JQM dialog is opening in new page instead of dialog

    Thank you for taking the time to read my question. I'm trying to get a dialog box to open using Jquery mobile. I followed the documentation and used the data-rel="dialog" notation along with the data-transition="pop". Instead of a dialog appearing on the same page, I get a brand new page with the dialog appearing. Can someone kindly assist me on how to fix this functionality.   • Javascript popup different size in different browsers?

    How come this pop-up gets a size other than what I have specified, when testing it in IE6 and FireFox 3.6? Firefox displays it correctly but IE6 is smaller for some reason.   • Remove Chrome Loading Notification?

    I am working on a project that runs in Chrome in full-screen mode and displays data that can be edited and interacted with. It makes AJAX calls(using jQuery) frequently that cause a loading notification in the lower left-hand corner on the bottom of the screen to pop up. These notifications are distracting when you are viewing the display and I would like to remove/prevent Chrome from displaying these loading notifications at all. Is it possible to prevent these notification by any means, or perhaps even mask the javascript that causes these notifications?

    I'm trying to produce some Ruby code that will take a string and return a new one, with a number x number of characters removed from its end - these can be actual letters, numbers, spaces etc. Ex: given the following string a_string = "a1wer4zx" I need a simple way to get the same string, minus - say - the 3 last digits. In the case above, that would be "a1wer". The way I'm doing it right now seems very convoluted: an_array = a_string.split(//,(a_string.length-2)) an_array.pop new_string = an_array.join Any ideas?

    Is there any module in drupal which provides low rating feedback. eg If someone wants to vote a content as <= 2 (out of 5). Before he does so, there will be a pop up window displaying text "Are you sure you want to rate so low?" etc. If there is no such module then is there any easy way of doing it?

    I tested my Xamarin.Forms app on iOS and Android and found this difference when I change the orientation of the mobile device: On iOS, the app keeps the current page On Android, the app seems to restart using the default page (or probably pop all pages except the first one). Since I've never seen this behavior in another Android app, I'd like to disable it. Moreover, I don't think that this behavior is Android default. Which property do I need to set the make the Android target behave as the iOS target?

  • Command prompt in debug mode for Eclipse? (OpenCV + Eclipse + Win7)

    I am a beginner for Eclipse. I now have Eclipse C/C++ IDE with OpenCV library running on Windows 7. So far it works after spending hours trying to get it running. But then I realize that Eclipse does not pop up a command prompt as VS2010 does while debugging. And moreover Eclipse's debug mode is just stuck in there and refuse to output anything. But if the code doesn't involve the OpenCV things it works again. Below is the code I use for testing. It captures images from webcam and output it to the screen. The infinite loop (until you press 'q') makes sure it constantly grabs new inputs from the camera. I browsed through the workspace and run the exe just compiled and it worked flawlessly. So I don't think there's anything wrong in the code (it's an example code anyway In brief, can I just pop up a command prompt window in debug mode?
