    Can anyone confirm if the latest release of Apache httpClient 4.0.1 or 4.1 alpha2 supports httpOnly cookie. (Did not find anything in the release notes but the source code validation for cookies does not raise exception when value is not existing?) Since the previous versions raise an exception on trying to parse HttpOnly stating that no value was found.

  • Setting refresh-policies in Ehcache

    Is there any to specify a data refresh policy in Ehcache? I am currently migrating an application from OSCache to Ehcache and I can't seem to find any way to specify when an element needs refreshing, besides setting timeToIdle and timeToLive. What I want is: on accessing an element from the cache, check with it's associated resource to see if it was updated later than the lastUpdateTime of the cache element. If yes, refresh the cache; else serve the content from the cache. In OSCache this was done by catching NeedsRefreshExceptions and setting custom refresh policies for the elements. I've been digging around in the docs for a while now, but I wasn't able to find any methods or examples of how I could accomplish this in Ehcache. Any help would be appreciated :). Alex

    Netbeans seems to say in several places that it supports a library to just host the "Netbeans editor" widget in some other program. It has some weird documentation that seems to say a lot, but doesn't really say much about how to use it: http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/javadoc/org-netbeans-modules-editor-lib2/architecture-summary.html I can't seem to find any download for the "Netbeans editor library" (1 or 2), and the documentation they provide says to download the entire mercurial repository, which doesn't really help me, since it doesn't tell me what is part of this "library" and what is not. If someone could point me to a download for this library, or some minimal documentation about how to use it, that would be great. I've already seen the blog post here, but it doesn't really help with getting the library, and it seems to be talking about classes which I can't find in the Netbeans sources I downloaded (Maybe a different version?)

Now I want to invert the list so that the first node is the last and the last the first. The inverted list has to be a deep copy. I started developing the invert function but I am not sure. Any Ideas? Update: Maybe there is a recursive way since the linear linked list is a recursive data structure. I would take the first element, iterate through the list until I get to a node that has no child and append the first element, I would repeat this for the second, third....

    I am trying to use JXMapViewer (from swingx-ws) with Open Street Maps. I was wondering if it would be possible to display the map tiles in the JXMapViewer based on heading up, rather than on North up. For example, the normal car GPS navigation systems let you do that. I've looked through the documentation and there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. Is there something else that accomplish this, besides JXMapViewer?

    Is it right that the procedure of using log4j looks like this: 1) put a .properties file somewhere in a project folder 2) in an initialization method, that runs only once, invoke PropertyConfigurator.configure("path_to_file"); 3) in every method we need to use logger we define a static logger variable and simply invoke getLogger(class) I'm asking you this: what if the initialization module is not defined? Where to put "log4j.properties" file so that we wouldn't need to invoke propertyconfigurator.configure at all, or if it's not possible, is it ok to invoke PropertyConfigurator.configure("path_to_file") in every method that uses a logger?

  • How do I share a Hibernate SessionFactory across web applications?

    I have two web applications that are running on a single Tomcat server and are connected to the same database with Hibernate. I am concerned that having two SessionFactory instances running around might cause some issues. Also, since both web applications share much of the same application logic, I thought it would be a good idea to centralize as much as I could. And since I use Spring for DI and Hibernate configuration it would make sense to have a single ApplicationContext as well. How would I go about doing something like this? Do I need to deploy a headless WAR that creates an ApplicationContext and thus a SessionFactory and allow each application access to it? Is this even a good idea?

I have two buttons "add Row", "Del Row" and I have some records displayed from db. when ever "add row" is clicked a new record, row header should be added to JTable with an auto increment number displayed in sequential order to the JTable Row Header. During deletion using "Del row " button the record has to be deleted & not its corresponding header so that next rows got updated to the previous headers & the auto increment number remain unchanged and always be in sequence. please help me on this regard.     I'm learning Spring MVC (and servlets in general) and following springsource's mvc-ajax example, which uses annotated controller methods. It appears that there is only one url-pattern (in web.xml) mapped to a servlet in that example: /app/* I've deployed the app as a WAR file, and the actual, ugly URL I'm requesting is http://127.0.0.1:8080/org.springframework.samples.mvc.ajax-1.0.0-20100407.233245-1/account. So, it appears that 'app' in '/app/*' is a variable corresponding to 'org.springframework.samples.mvc.ajax-1.0.0-20100407.233245-1', however, it isn't universal because it isn't usable in my own app, and it contradicts my understanding that url-pattern contains the portion of the URL after the app name. So, what is 'app'? Where is it configured?

    What technique should we use to make the httpsession object not loaded heavily with data. Example : Request 1 ---- httpSession loaded with an arraylist of 50,000 different objects. session.setAttribute("data",arraylist); Request 2 ---- httpSession loaded with an arraylist of 40,000 different objects. session.setAttribute("data",arraylist); Assume the server is loaded heavily with multiple sessions and huge data in them. Let us say from my above example request1..1000 at a time. Which means 1000 session objects with huge data. What is the alternate way to solve instead storing them in session like this?

    I have standard maven project in netbeans (netbeans' enterprise application), that have 1 war, 1 ejb and 1 ear modules. I want to inject with @Inject my @Stateless from ejb to war (REST class) using its interface. I have added some beans.xml files in correct folders in project, but im still getting this: Error occurred during deployment: Exception while loading the app : WELD-001409 Ambiguous dependencies for type [LogicBean] with qualifiers [@Default] at injection point [[field] @Inject private pl.edu.amu.wmi.kino.rk.rest.ReportRest.bean]. Please see server.log for more details. What am i doing wrong? I have searched the whole internet, but could not find the solution.
