    I have a looping function creating: <li id="id1" name="Tag1,Tag2,Tag3"> <li id="id2" name="Tag1,Tag2,Tag3"> $.each(data.posts, function(i, post){ $('<li >', {id: this.id , name: post.tags}) }); How do I replace the commas between the tags with spaces. Also is there a way I can send the tags to a "class" attribute instead of "name". It seems to not work in Safari.

But I still need to validate that the Age is an integer int a = 0; if (!int.TryParse(age, out a)) { error = "Not integer"; // ... } How can I move this to my model?

Neither of the following works due to logical functions being macros: (reduce and [... sequence of bools ...]) (apply or [... sequence of bools ...]) The error saying that I "can't take value of a macro: #'clojure.core/and". How to apply these logical functions (macros) without writing boilerplate code?

    I have a query like this (created by LINQ): SELECT [t0].[Id], [t0].[CreationDate], [t0].[CreatorId] FROM [dbo].[DataFTS]('test', 100) AS [t0] WHERE [t0].[CreatorId] = 1 ORDER BY [t0].[RANK] DataFTS is a full-text search table valued function. The query execution plan looks like this: SELECT (0%) - Sort (23%) - Nested Loops (Inner Join) (1%) - Sort (Top N Sort) (25%) - Stream Aggregate (0%) - Stream Aggregate (0%) - Compute Scalar (0%) - Table Valued Function (FullTextMatch) (13%) | | - Clustered Index Seek (38%) Does this mean that the WHERE clause ([CreatorId] = 1) is executed prior to the TVF ( full text search) or after the full text search?     Tried to find the answer, but still couldn't.. The table is as follows: id, keyword, value 1 display 15.6 1 harddrive 320 1 ram 3 So what i need is something like this.. Select an id from this table where (keyword="display" and value="15.6") AND (keyword="harddrive" and value="320") There's also a possibility that there will be 3 or 4 such keyword conditions which should result into returning one id (one row) It seems there's something to deal with UNION but i didn't use it before so i can't figure it out Thanks in advance

  • Running an application from an USB device...

    I'm working on a proof-of-concept application, containing a WCF service with console host and client, both on a single USB device. On the same device I will also have the client application which will connect to this service. The service uses the entity framework to connect to the database, which in this POC will just return a list of names. If it works, it will be used for a larger project. Creating the client and service was easy and this works well from USB. But getting the service to connect to the database isn't. I've found this site, suggesting that I should modify machine.config but that stops the XCopy deployment. This project cannot change any setting of the PC, so this suggestion is bad. I cannot create a deployment setup either. The whole thing just needs to run from USB disk. So, how do I get it to run? (The service just selects a list of names from the database, which it returns to the client. If this POC works, it will do far more complex things!)

  • What are the exact versions of stuff you had to install in order to be able to step-debug a Scala pr

    How do YOU debug a Scala program? I mean YOU as in the person posting the Answer :) Please answer only from personal experience, not from stuff you've heard or read on the Internet. You should not believe everything you read on the Internet, especially tales of complex open-source software configurations that actually work :-) The are many Java tools which claim to support Scala in some way or another, but I have so far struck out in trying to get any one of them to actually let me set a breakpoint in Scala code and step through it. These are big, major open-source IDEs I'm talking about here. The main problem in getting a debugger to work seems to be the "version hell" with fast-changing IDEs, Plug-Ins, JDKs, and the Scala language itself. Hence the second part of my question, which is really the most important part: What is the exact version number of the IDE, Plug-In, JDK, Scala, and even Operating System, that you are successfully using?   • Using LEFT JOIN to only selection one joined row

    I'm trying to LEFT JOIN two tables, to get a list of all rows from TABLE_1 and ONE related row from TABLE_2. I have tried LEFT JOIN and GROUP BY c_id, however I wan't the related row from TABLE_2 to be sorted by isHeadOffice DESC.   • Shorter GUIDs than hashing a user id?

    I'm wondering how Instapaper (bookmarklet that saves text) might generate URLs for their bookmarklet. Mine has a script src of something similar to www.instapaper.com/j/AnJHrfoDTRia The quality of these URLs is that they need to never collide, and not be really guessable (so other people can't save to your account). I know a simple approach might be to MD5 their email address (presumed to have been checked on signup for uniqueness), but then I'd end up with a super long string. This isn't a huge issue, but I'm wondering what techniques there are for shorter GUIDs that won't collide too often (this is obviously the tradeoff, but 12 characters above is pretty short in my opinion)

    Hello, I am experimenting with jQuery lately, and I was wondering if it's possible with js or pure jquery to reorder <li> elements. So if I have a silly list like the following: <ul> <li>Foo</li> <li>Bar</li> <li>Cheese</li> </ul> How would I move the list elements around? Like put the list element with Cheese before the list element with Foo or move Foo to after Bar. So is it possible? If so, how? Thanks!!

    Hello all. I've done some experimenting, but can't seem to successfully bind one event handler to multiple elements using jQuery. Here's what I've tried: $('selector1', 'selector2').bind('click', function() { $('someSelector').removeClass('coolClass'); }); I've tested all my selectors, and they are all valid. Is what I'm trying to do even possible? If so, can I do it with .live() as well? Thanks!

    i have a function which is a class method, and i want to test a attribute of the class which may or may not be None, but will exist always. class classA(): def __init__(self, var1, var2 = None): self.attribute1 = var1 self.attribute2 = var2 @classmethod def func(self,x): if self.attribute2 is None: do something i get the error AttributeError: class classA has no attribute 'attributeB' when i access the attribute like i showed but if on command line i can see it works, x = classA() x.attributeB is None True so the test works. if i remove the @classmethod decorator from func, the problem disapears. if i leave the @classmethod decorator, it only seems to affect variables which are supplied default values in the super-class's constructor. whats going on in the above code?

  • Save or update for FK relationship Sqlalchemy

    I've googled, but haven't been able to find the answer to this seemingly simple question. I have two relations, a customer and an order. Each order is associated to a single cusomter, and therefore has a FK relationship to the customer table. The customer relation only stores customer names, and I have set a unique constraint on the customer table barring duplicate names. Let's say I create a new order instance and set a customer for the order. Something like: order_instance.customer = Customer("customer name") When I save the order instance, SqlAlchemy will complain if a customer with this name already exists in the customer table. How do I specify to SqlAlchemy to insert into the customer table if a customer with this name doesn't already exist, or just ignore (or even update) to the customer relation? I don't really want to have to check each time if a customer with some name already exists...

  • Can I pass a pointer to a superclass, but create a copy of the child?

    I have a function that takes a pointer to a superclass and performs operations on it. However, at some point, the function must make a deep copy of the inputted object. Is there any way I can perform such a copy? It occurred to me to make the function a template function and simply have the user pass the type, but I hold out hope that C++ offers a more elegant solution.

  • Problem with using the XPATH functions

    I've got a problem with using the XPATH functions. When I try to call some functions like lower-case or upper-case etc,they are not executed and I can't figure the problem out. I included the namespace xmlns:fn="http://www.w3.org/2005/xpath-functions" at the top of my XSL stylesheet and use fn namespace to call these functions but anyway nothing is working. Can anyone explain the reason and what I should do in order to be able to use the following functions? Cheers
