  • openldap and root password

    I recently changed my root password, but when I restart Ldap (openldap-2.2.13) I couldn't log in with Ldap users to any application that is on this server. in /var/log/httpd/ssl_error_log I can find a lot of error like: [Tue Jun 01 02:27:24 2010] [warn] [client 89.138.98.214] [26762] auth_ldap authenticate: user foo authentication failed; URI /svn-clients/clients/myclient/ [LDAP: ldap_simple_bind_s() failed][Can't contact LDAP server] I guess there is a linkage between user root and the Ldap configuration, I also changed the rootpw entry in slapd.conf, but this doesn't seem to make things better.

    Hi, I am having a problem filter a query. I have Contact and Tag entities. Actually in the database, they are 3 different tables, Contacts, Tags and ContactTag table. I would like to filter contacts using the Tag name. I was trying this filter but it did not work. http://localhost:50143/ContactDataService.svc/Contacts?$filter=Tags/TagName eq 'Tag1' Am I missing any thing ? Thanks Thurein

    Suppose you have three points of contact on the iPhone screen and one of those touches moves... The touchesMoved method will be invoked and the [[event touchesForView:self] count] will be equal to '3' because there are three touches for the event, but how can you distinguish between the touches? For example - find out whether it was the first, second, or third touch which moved? Thanks.

    Apologies, this is a tragically simple question that will bore most of you. I need to implement the simplest "leave your email and we'll contact you" web page. The simplest thing I could think of is doing an HTML form which calls a PHP script which appends the data in some file on the server. Here's that I did: $cdata = str_replace(" ","#",$cdata); And I got this. --- Contact-ID#=#148 [10274da8]#Sinhronizacija#=#private [1000137d]#Uzvards#=#Zom [1000137c]#Vards#=#Tana [1000130e]#Talrunis#=#3333 [1000130e]#Mobilais#=#5555 As you can see, spaced before "[10..." are still there.   • Why is my SSH session timing out in less than a minute?

    Within a minute of connecting to my remote Linux server through SSH, my session times out and I cannot contact the server until a few seconds have passed. Meanwhile, I'm connected to other servers without interruption. This is only happening when I establish connection from an hotel wireless AP. When I connect from my phone's Internet, the problem does not occur. Does anyone know what might be causing these unusual timeouts?
