  Hi, I'm working on a Google Chrome extension. In the popup I have the following code: var bookmarks = []; function appendBMTnode(node){ bookmarks.push([node[0].title, node[0].id]); } function addchildren(results){ for(x = 0; x < results.length; x++){ bookmarks.push([results[x].title, results[x].id]); chrome.bookmarks.getChildren(results[x].id, addchildren); } } function getallbookmarks(){ chrome.bookmarks.get('0', appendBMTnode); chrome.bookmarks.getChildren('0', addchildren); } console.debug(bookmarks.length); console.debug(bookmarks); Now, I would assume that the first command would issue the # of bookmarks I have. Indeed, when I use Chrome's debugger and add bookmarks.length to the watch list, 418 is the value. In the console of the debugger I can write bookmarks.length and it will give me the correct length. I can type for(x = 0; x < bookmarks.length; x++){ console.debug(bookmarks[x]); } and I get string representations of each inner array. However, that original console.debug(bookmarks.length) gives an output of zero. And if I add console.debug(bookmarks[0]); to the popup.html it tells me that the value is undefined. This seems like a bug to me, but my real question is how can I iterate over this list? Thanks

  This is related to generate groups in BuddyPress. I have a spreadsheet with (in this case) a group name, group description and slug. I need to grab the information from the file, turn it into an array, then loop through it and call groups_create_group() every time. I can find that function in bp-groups.php (http://www.nomorepasting.com/getpaste.php?pasteid=35217). It tells me all the parameters you need to fill in. I'm quite new to this and looking for how I can do this. Do you know how I can grab this information and turn it into an array? An loop it through and call groups_create_group() every time?

  Suppose i have an array $x = (31,12,13,25,18,10); I want to reduce this array in such a way that the value of each array element is 32. so after work my array will become $newx = (32,32,32,13); I have to generate this array in such a way the sum of array values is never greater than 32. so to create first value, i will reduce 1 from second index value i.e. 12, so the second value will become 11 and first index value will become 31+1 =32. This process should continue so that each array value becomes equal to 32.

  I have to write a method that takes an array of ints that is already sorted in numerical order then remove all the duplicate numbers and return an array of just the numbers that have no duplicates. That array must then be printed out so I can't have any null pointer exceptions. The method has to be in O(n) time, can't use vectors or hashes. This is what I have so far but it only has the first couple numbers in order without duplicates and then just puts the duplicates in the back of the array.   I just saw the following code among the successful submissions at codechef. http://www.codechef.com/viewplaintext/1595846 I used to think that float max(int n,int arr[n][n]) {....} is not allowed in C++ (as 'n' is a variable). My CodeBlocks (on windows) with MinGW [gcc 4.4] gives compile time error. that "error: array bound is not an integer constant. Then how can be such a solution be accepted by CodeChef's judge. Is there any control capable of editing this information? I've tried to access data with the DataViewGrid, but am not sure how to use it.   Hello all, I have an interesting problem being reported to me from an android application I have published. I have a two-dimensional array that I am iterating through using two for loops like so: for (int i = 0; i < arr.length; ++i) { for (int j = 0; j < arr[i].length; ++j) { if (arr[i][j] != 0) // does stuff } } The problem is, somehow arr[i][j] != 0 is throwing an ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. But very rarely. I have thousands of people use the app on a daily basis and get maybe twenty force close reports. Is this something I can't avoid, maybe a problem with the phones memory, etc. or is there something I can do that I haven't thought of yet? Thanks.

I can do echo "$#-2" | bc but, I shouldn't I be able to get array size ? I can use bc to do integer comparison. but I've to know the size of `candidates array which I am not getting properly.
