  • android app does not show up on my device or the emulator in eclipse

    I am trying to use the ES 2 API in my app but using kEAGLRenderingAPIOpenGLES2 causes bad access at glMatrixMode(). There is a similar question here but doesn't answer my question. If I use kEAGLRenderingAPIOpenGLES1 then everything is fine. I could reproduce the same problem with Apple's sample code. What can I do to make glMatrixMode() work in ES 2?

  • SVNKit: Commit files that were manually deleted from filesystem( Work Copy)

    I can not solve the problem with collecting CommitItem(changes that commit), or more accurately, I have no porblem with the changed and added files BUT files that I manually deleted from the file system is not seen in CommitItem list ... And those changes can not commit to the SVN server. If I delete a file using the API, then the problem does not exist... but manually deleting ... Has anyone had a similar problem?

    Can a DevExpress XtraGrid be filled using a a Dynamic SELECT statement string? i.e. SELECT * FROM Employee or SELECT * FROM Dependents To fill our XtraGrids currently, we use a ORM that creates entities. To do this it takes a lot of steps and time. What is driving me to ask this question is we do a lot of client aquistions where we get hundreds of files. I do not want to create entities for all of these then have to create an XtraGrid for each entity. Ideally if I can just feed it a SELECT statement and the XtraGrid could render it then I could use the XtraGrid very nice data minipulation features (Filter, Group By, etc). If you have any other ideas or suggestions please to not hesitate to post them.

    I need to write a VBScript script to check the state of a dial-up connection, perform the dial up if disconnected, hang up the connection etc. I know this can be done using RAS API functions, so I'm wondering if there's any way to call these functions from VBScript? If not, how else can I manage dial-up connections using VBScript? Can somebody point me in a useful direction? Thanks.

  • IPC::Open3 Fails Running Under Apache

    I have a module that uses IPC::Open3 (or IPC::Open2, both exhibit this problem) to call an external binary (bogofilter in this case) and feed it some input via the child-input filehandle, then reads the result from the child-output handle. The code works fine when run in most environments. However, the main use of this module is in a web service that runs under Apache 2.2.6. And under that environment, I get the error: Cannot fdopen STDOUT: Invalid argument This only happens when the code runs under Apache. Previously, the code constructed a horribly complex command, which included a here-document for the input, and ran it with back-ticks. THAT worked, but was very slow and prone to breaking in unique and perplexing ways. I would hate to have to revert to the old version, but I cannot crack this.

  • QWebView not loading external resources

    Hi. I'm working on a kiosk web browser using Qt and PyQt4. QWebView seems to work quite well except for one quirk. If a URL fails to load for any reason, I want to redirect the user to a custom error page. I've done this using the loadFinished() signal to check the result, and change the URL to the custom page if necessary using QWebView.load(). However, any page I attempt to load here fails to pull in external resources like CSS or images. Using QWebView.load() to set the initial page at startup seems to work fine, and clicking any link on the custom error page will result in the destination page loading fine. It's just the error page that doesn't work. I'm really not sure where to go next. I've included the source for an app that will replicate the problem below. It takes a URL as a command line argument - a valid URL will display correctly, a bad URL (eg. But when I run the Development Mode, the styles are not applied! I tried many different approaches, but it still doesn't work. What I noticed, is that in the HTML, the VerticalPanel is given the class name obfuscated by GWT, but the CSS is not send to the browser - in fact, the GWT doesn't even ask for it. Am I missing something?

    I am trying to parse form data, including upload files with a node.js http server. All of the tutorial type articles I have found use a require("multipart"); to include the multipart module, but when I try the same I get: Error: Cannot find module 'multipart' I also can't find it in the current api docs (though it is in the google cached version). So, has this module been removed from the standard installation or is there something else that does the job?

Does openssl libraries have any api support for calculating the CRC32?   • How to display a JSON error message?

    I'm currently developing a tumblr theme and have built a jQuery JSON thingamabob that uses the Tumblr API to do the following: The user would click on the "post type" link (e.g. Video Posts), at which stage jQuery would use JSON to grab all the posts that's related to that type and then dynamically display them in a designated area. Now everything works absolutely peachy, except that with Tumblr being Tumblr and their servers taking a knock every now and then, the Tumblr API thingy is sometimes offline. Now I can't foresee when this function will be down, which is why I want to display some generic error message if JSON (for whatever reason) was unable to load the post. You'll see I've already written some code to show an error message when jQuery can't find any posts related to that post type BUT it doesn't cover any server errors.   • Problem with Twitter basic authentication using AJAX

    I'm developing a javascript App that needs, as part of its functionality, for users to be able to update their Twitter status. The App is designed to work on mobiles, and as such I don't really want to be sending users all the way over to the Twitter site to sign in; they should just be able to pass their credentials to the app, and I'll handle all the signin. So I'm trying to use the Basic Auth with the restful API. My code looks like: function postTweet(input){ $.ajax( { type: "POST", url: "http://twitter.com/statuses/update.json", data: {status: input}, dataType: "json", error: function() { alert("Some error occured"); }, success: function() { alert("Success!"); }, beforeSend: function(request) { request.setRequestHeader("Authorization", "Basic BASE64OFMYCREDENTIALS");} } ) ; } So, as far as I'm aware, this should perform the authentication from the XMLHttpRequest header, and then post the status. However, whenever I call this code, I get a "401 Unauthorized" error from Twitter.   • What's viewport mean to the jQuery guys?

    I came here intent on asking a 'how do i' type question focused on a particular UI problem i have to solve and i started using the term 'viewport'. Seems there's lots of contexts that tag evokes. Before i outline mine i should ask - is there a generally recognized consensus as to what a 'viewport' is? Any gallery or object browser that focuses on a UI principle where multiple frames/panes show feeds of different graphs where each feed might be a complex grid/graph? I'm imagining something where my page may open with a half dozen different grids (tabular data) stay updated via ajax interactions with various servers. UI elements provide control scale up or down a given grid with a quasi accordion slide kinda thingie. For example, one click on a scale up-or-down control would rescale the other viewports in the opposite direction. More clicks - more pronounced effect. So my 'how do i' question morphs into a 'how have others...' thx

That is, can I compile and link against the libraries without open sourcing my own applications's code? Obviously if I alter the original CF code, I would submit the changes.     I would like to add some tags to our web app to enable auto-discovery of our odata feeds. So for example Nerd Dinner has the following tag: <link rel="odata.service" title="NerdDinner.com OData Service" href="/Services/OData.svc" /><link rel="odata.feed" title="NerdDinner.com OData Service - Dinners" href="/Services/OData.svc/Dinners" /> The trouble is that I have 4 different feeds and am unclear if I am allowed to add multiple link rel="odata.service" to the document. Where is the specification for this meta tag? (follow on question, are there any apps that take advantage of this tag that I can use to test out behavior)

  • twitter's officially supported android application

    i am developing an application for android and would like for my users to be able to post some information from my application to their twitter feed. i know how to make this work by building a VIEW intent and forwarding the user to the android built-in web browser (thanks to stack overflow!) However, now that there is an official Twitter application, I would like to be able to use the twitter applications activity (if it is installed) to make the post. However, I can not find any developer documentation on what the Twitter Intent for Android is called. Can someone provide a short snippet of sample code that includes that text of the Intent to use?

  • Automatic incremental SQL Script generation for incremental, nightly builds when using Team Build in

    hi all, hope that everybody here is OK. We are using VS 2008 as development tool, TFS 2008 as version control as well as build automation. Some of our developer use dbpro for databases changes and some use SQL Server management studio. I am trying to automate build for Web Application built using C# and VB.Net. Our scenario is such that we have a central database to which our web application connects. Whenever we supply our clients with a new functionality or a bug fix, we supply them incremental builds. The SQL script is checked into source control for every incremental build when they have made and tested there changes on our central DB Server. I want to generate Differential script that can be run at the client as an incremental update script. Now to come about it is a problem. Sometimes our developers tend to forget the database change-sets and the script in the source control is missing an SP or a two. Also, sometimes we need to insert default data into some of the tables that have strict stringent values and not test values. Like a table that contains Services provided by the panel, we add a new service name, signature, credentials and service address, etc etc in the ServiceTable. Besides this many other tables may have test data that may not be needed. If we use DataCompare, it will generate changeset for required data (important for client to enable certain services) and our test data that was added to the database as a result of our testing of the functionality or bug fix. Currently i am using SQLSchemaCompareTask (from Visual Studio 2008 Team Database Professional Power Tools API) in the TFSBuild.proj file of the build definition for TFS 2008. Using SQLSchemaCompareTask, the script generated contains database names like [dbo]. etc which are not desired as the script fails when run against SQL Server 2000 databses (Some of our client still use SQL Server 2000) databases as teh backend of the application. Also default data can't be generated by this process. To overcome this problem, i have to come up with a solution that can compare databases and generate script automatically that does not have to be manually reviewed again before being sent to the client. Please suggest effective methodology of such SQL script generation and suggest whether two different databases may be used or something ? Is there any toolkit or api that can enable build automation for SQL Server databases? Thank you all. Regards Steve
