    I am trying to develop an android application that could store whatever the user writes on screen as an image. For example, if the user writes "Co" followed by "ol" and presses OK, the text is stored as "Cool" as an image in a field on the form displayed on the phone. (No handwriting recognition or OCR required) I have seen the Canvas class in Android, but how would you concatenate all the letters/set of characeters and convert them to image ? Is there any open source project that does something similar ?

  • Removing web.config from subversion (ASP.NET Project)

    I have a project which is source controlled using Subversion and VisualSVN. Since the version of web.config is different on the server and the developers' computers I want the file to remain on the computers but to be ignored by Subversion. I added it to the svn:ignore but it still remains (and still has a red exclamation mark too since we are not committing it). How can I remove it from Subversion safely without it being deleted from the files system Thanks, Adin

This code includes an API key, which is visible to everyone who views your source code. How does it guarantees that the request is coming from the real site, and not from a third-party who wants to mess with your statistics? Does it check the HTTP Referer header? Even that is not safe, as it can be forged.

    I am creating an desktop application which is capable of sending emails. I downloaded mail.jar and javaee.jar and added it to my project libraries. However, when I am trying to use it, it gives me the error java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: Uncompilable source code - package javax.mail does not exist I imported those packages as, import javax.mail.* It added correctly, as shown in the following image. Please help!! How can I make this work?

Support dashboard with "pretty" (for executive/director "eye" :-) reports. 3. Support Java, Maven, Ant, and be somewhat customizable for build process itself (though this is optional, as I can "fix" it with scripts) I'd prefer free and open source tool, but paid version is fine too.     I have some procedures to execute in the database that has an OUT REFCURSOR parameter. When I am connecting with the JDBC thin client, everything works fine. However, if I were to change the connection string to refer to the ODBC data source pointing to the same database, those procedures will fail. The procedures that do not use an OUT REFCURSOR will still work fine though. Is this situation the result of an error on my part or expected?

With one argument, list 11 lines starting at that line. With two arguments, list the given range; if the second argument is less than the first, it is a count. The "continue the previous listing" feature is really nice, but how do you turn it off?
