• Can't insert a number into a C++ custom streambuf/ostream

  I have written a custom std::basic_streambuf and std::basic_ostream because I want an output stream that I can get a JNI string from in a manner similar to how you can call std::ostringstream::str(). It just doubles the buffer width, puts the requested character, and sets the base, put, and end pointers correctly. It is tested and I am quite sure it works. The jni_utf16_ostream works fine inserting unicode characters. For example, this works fine and results in the stream containing "hello, world": myns::jni_utf16_ostream o(env); o << u"hello, wor" << u'l' << u'd'; My problem is as soon as I try to insert an integer value, the stream's bad bit gets set, for example: myns::jni_utf16_ostream o(env); if (o.badbit()) throw "bad bit before"; // does not throw int32_t x(5); o << x; if (o.badbit()) throw "bad bit after"; // throws :( I don't understand why this is happening! Is there some other method on std::basic_streambuf I need to be implementing????

On memory warning i close and open database again, I have set cache size to 50 as mentioned in some posts here, and tried putting query into statement - same result.. it just garbles mamory and app quits after 300 inserts on iphone or somewhere around 900 inserts on iPad... Any help would be appreciated..

  It is convenient for me to use a set. I like how I can "add" ("remove") an element to (from) the set. It is also convenient to check if a given element is in the set. The only problem, I found out that I cannot add a new element to a set if the set has already such an element. Is it possible to have "sets" which can contain several identical elements.

I'm using Coredata in my app, on first launch I download a data file and insert over 500 objects (each with 60 attributes) - fast, no problem. Each subsequent launch I download an updated version of the file, from which I need to update all existing objects' attributes (except maybe 5 attributes) and create new ones for items which have been added to the downloaded file. So, first launch I get 500 objects.. say a week later my file now contains 507 items.. I create two arrays, one for existing and one for downloaded.   I am trying to configure a Management Agent (MA) for Global Address List (GAL) sync in FIM 2010. I cannot move to the next step from "Configure GAL" because of an error message saying "It appears this forest is not exchange enabled". Nothing I change on "Configure GAL" step is changing this behavior. I'am configuring a standalone test lab. I have a Windows 2008 R2 x64 Server, promoted to a DC and SQL 2008 SP1 installed, DNS is also running locally. I have tried to install Exchange 2010 and 2007, but there is no difference. AD MA works fine. Any ideas what did I screw up?

  I'm trying to install an ADFS proxy. In our intranet we have a ADFS 2.1 server running on Windows 2012 which is working fine. Now we're trying to deploy a proxy to this one for internet access, using Windows 2012 R2's Web Application Proxy. I'm getting the following error on the proxy server, event ID 393: Message : An error occurred while attempting to establish a trust relationship with the Federation Server. An error occurred when attempting to establish a trust relationship with the federation service. Error: Forbidden Context : DeploymentTask Status : Error I'm not getting any errors on the ADFS server. I've tried with different credentials. The ADFS service account, a domain administrator who is a member of the local administrators group on the ADFs server, and the local administrator account on the ADFS server. Same error message. Both port 80 and 443 is accessible from the proxy server to the internal ADFS server, and I can access the ADFS metadata endpoint from the proxy server. I'm using the same trusted SSL certificate (wildcard) on both machines. Do you have any ideas that can help me troubleshoot this problem?

  Possible Duplicate: Naming convention for computers It seems an important and difficult dilemma for me how to name network hosts (routers, servers (while a server can be a router and host diverse services at the same time), virtual machines (while they host important services and can migrate), workstations and notebooks (using pc-username is not the best idea as users may change), printers & MFUs, surveillance IP cameras, etc). Are there known and accepted best practices for this task? Excuse me if there already was a similar question here (I think it probably was), I haven't found it.

• IIS 401.3 - Unauthorized on only 1 server out of 3 set up for network load balancing

  Over the weekend our Server Admin set up two virtual Windows 2008 machines with IIS installed and set them up under NLB. I came in and changed the application pool the website was running under to our domain account that has proper access to the database and the file share hosting our .NET web application Sitefinity, and changed it to .NET 4 Integrated. NLB and everything was running fine on both servers. He brought up the third server for our cluster on Tuesday and I performed the same actions.. The only difference was that I was given admin rights for the third server so I could set it up remotely instead of going to his office. He has full control over the share and NTFS perms on \\hostname\Sitefinity and I believe I only had read access. I pointed the web site to the same \\hostname\Sitefinity\sitename share that the others were on and the authentication/authorization test settings passed. I hit the site from http://localhost (like I did successfully from the other two before trying the cluster's IP address) and I received a HTTP Error 401.3 - Unauthorized. I've verified many times that the application pool is running under the same service account. I tried hitting just a simple test.htm.. works fine on both of the first two servers but I get the same 401.3 on the third. I copied my dev project to the local inetpub directory and re-pointed the website and that ran perfectly. I turned on Failed Request Tracing and it acts like it's still running the local IUSR account I guess (instead of my domain account)? Here is an excerpt of the File Cache Access Start and the error from the trace: FileName \\hostname\sitefinity\sitename\test.htm UserName IUSR DomainName NT AUTHORITY ---------- Successful false FileFromCache false FileAddedToCache false FileDirmoned true LastModCheckErrorIgnored true ErrorCode 2147942405 LastModifiedTime ErrorCode Access is denied. (0x80070005) ---------- My personal AD account was then granted read/write perms to the share so I created a new application pool and set the site under it in case there was an issue with the application pool but no success. I created another under my own account and it still failed. It just seems like maybe it's not trying to access the files under the account my application pools are running under although that's the only way I've done things before. I set the Physicial Path Credentials in Advanced Settings on the site to the service account and it threw a 500 error of some sort so I assume that's not the answer (and I don't have to do it on the other servers). It's like somehow I'm trying to force impersonation on the IUSR account or something?

Background of this idea: this way we could identify our Routers in our Opennet in Hamburg easily in a graphical NodeGraph.   Possible Duplicate: What to do if my computer is infected by a virus or a malware? Why do I always find the strangest programs and the strangest text files all the time? All kinds of weird things happen, like my screen changes and the address line doesn't change in IE, just weird stuff. Is it me or could there really be something going on? I've never had so much trouble with any computer before and I am on a public access point where I live. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. I either need peace of mind, or a good defence, because this is getting out of hand.

The file names are R303717COMP_148A2075_20100520.txt (the middle section is unique per file).   Hi, We have set up a replication scheme master/slave and we've had problems lately because some users wrote directly on the slave instead of the master, making the whole setup inconsistent. To prevent these problems from happening again, we've decided to remove the insert, delete, update, etc... rights from the users accessing the slave. Problems is that some stored procedure (for reading) require temporary tables. I read that changing the global variable read_only to true would do what I want and allow the stored procedures to work correctly ( http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/server-system-variables.html#sysvar_read_only ) but I keep getting the error : The MySQL server is running with the --read-only option so it cannot execute this statement (1290) The stored procedure that I used (for testing purpose) is this one : DELIMITER $$ DROP PROCEDURE IF EXISTS test_readonly $$ CREATE DEFINER=dbuser@% PROCEDURE test_readonly() BEGIN CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE IF NOT EXISTS temp ( BT_INDEX int(11), BT_DESC VARCHAR(10) ); INSERT INTO temp (BT_INDEX, BT_DESC) VALUES (222,'walou'), (111,'bidouille'); DROP TABLE temp; END $$ DELIMITER ; The create temporary table and the drop table work fine with the readonly flag - if I comment the INSERT line, it runs fine- but whenever I want to insert or delete from that temporary table, I get the error message.   Hello everyone, I have a mysql table called pollOfTheWeek. It has a column "pollDate" of type date. I have two questions regarding this : 1. I declared the column while creating the table as [pollDate date] What I wanted is that this column be set automatically, when the user doesnt enter any value for this column. How do i declare the column to achieve this? Assuming that I have the same declaration as above, how do I enter an empty value. I mean if the column was of type varchar, I would enter empty value as " ". But since it is of type date, I get error when I enter the value as " ". How do I enter empty value for the pollDate column?

  Hello, My question is I have a table with the set of records. I am calling a stored procedure for some other purpose. But when ever it finds some duplicate records. It need to return as error message back to php. C1 C2 c3 abc 32 21.03.2010 def 35 04.04.2010 pqr 45 30.03.2010 abc 12 04.05.2010 xyz 56 01.03.2010 ghi 21 06.05.2010 def 47 17.02.2010 klm 93 04.03.2010 xyz 11 01.03.2010 For the above set it need to check for the records that has the same c1. The stored procedure should return as abc,def,xyz are duplicate. I tried something like this. This will not work it has more than 1 set of duplicate records.
