    I have configured my email server to cache all email to my mailbox. So [email protected] and [email protected] go to one mailbox. Every forum, registration, and guy get their own address for sending me emails so I can deliver it to /dev/null if anyone start spamming. That's the working setup. Now the problem: If I reply to a message, then Thunderbird always sets my default Identity as sender. I know I can add additional identities, but I don't want to add every address. How can I configure when a email is sent to [email protected], I answer with [email protected].

  • Const references when dereferencing iterator on set, starting from Visual Studio 2010

    Starting from Visual Studio 2010, iterating over a set seems to return an iterator that dereferences the data as 'const data' instead of non-const. The following code is an example of something that does compile on Visual Studio 2005, but not on 2010 (this is an artificial example, but clearly illustrates the problem we found on our own code). In this example, I have a class that stores a position together with a temperature. I define comparison operators (not all them, just enough to illustrate the problem) that only use the position, not the temperature. To check the correctness of the comparison operator, I add data points with the same position multiple times. When writing the contents of the set, I can clearly see there are only 3 points in the set. The for-loop loops over the set, and sets the temperature. Logically this is allowed, since the temperature is not used in the comparison operators. This code compiles correctly in Visual Studio 2005, but gives compilation errors in Visual Studio 2010 on the following line (in the for-loop): DataPoint &point = *it; The error given is that it can't assign a "const DataPoint" to a [non-const] "DataPoint &". It seems that you have no decent (= non-dirty) way of writing this code in VS2010 if you have a comparison operator that only compares parts of the data members. Possible solutions are: Adding a const-cast to the line where it gives an error Making temperature mutable and making setTemperature a const method But to me both solutions seem rather 'dirty'. It looks like the C++ standards committee overlooked this situation. Or not? What are clean solutions to solve this problem? Did some of you encounter this same problem and how did you solve it?     I have a set of N items, which are sets of integers, let's assume it's ordered and call it I[1..N]. Given a candidate set, I need to find the subset of I which have non-empty intersections with the candidate. So, for example, if: I = [{1,2}, {2,3}, {4,5}] I'm looking to define valid_items(items, candidate), such that: valid_items(I, {1}) == {1} valid_items(I, {2}) == {1, 2} valid_items(I, {3,4}) == {2, 3} I'm trying to optimize for one given set I and a variable candidate sets. Currently I am doing this by caching items_containing[n] = {the sets which contain n}. In the above example, that would be: items_containing = [{}, {1}, {1,2}, {2}, {3}, {3}] That is, 0 is contained in no items, 1 is contained in item 1, 2 is contained in itmes 1 and 2, 2 is contained in item 2, 3 is contained in item 2, and 4 and 5 are contained in item 3. That way, I can define valid_items(I, candidate) = union(items_containing[n] for n in candidate). Is there any more efficient data structure (of a reasonable size) for caching the result of this union? The obvious example of space 2^N is not acceptable, but N or N*log(N) would be.

  • PHP Multi-Domain Sessions; ini_set Not Working?

    Hello, I'm trying to set it up so if you log in to my website the session carries over to all sub-domains of my website. For example, if you go to domain.com and log in, then go to sub.domain.com, you'll already be logged in at sub.domain.com. To my understanding, you would want to use ini_set('session.cookie_domain','.domain.com') and then session_start(), then set your session variables, but this isn't working. Example of what I'm doing: Code for domain.com: <?php ini_set('session.cookie_domain','.domain.com'); session_start(); $_SESSION['variable'] = 1; ?> Code for sub.domain.com: <?php session_start(); echo $_SESSION['variable']; ?> But $_SESSION['variable'] isn't set. I've also tried using ini_set() in the sub.domain.com code, but it made no difference. I've verified that setting session.cookie_domain is working by using ini_get(). What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

  • Transfering a set with a Wildcarded Generic to a List in Java

    I have a data type that contains a set and a method that expects List<? extends MyClass>. The data type has Set<? extends MyClass>. I need to be able to move the stuff out of the set and into the List. The order it goes into the list doesn't matter, it just needs to start keeping track of it so that it can be reordered when displayed. Suffice to say that changing the Set into a List in the data type is out of the question here. This seems pretty easy at first. Create a new method that takes a Set instead of a List, changes it into a list and then passes it on to the old method that just took a list. The problem comes in changing the set to a list. public void setData(Set<? extends MyClass> data) { List<? extends Myclass> newData = ArrayList< /* What goes here? */ >(); for(ConcordaEntityBean o : data) { newData.add(o); } setData(newData); } Obviously, I can't instantiate an ArrayList with a wildcard, it chokes. I don't know the type at that point. Is there some way to pull the type out of data and pass it to ArrayList? Can I just instantiate it with MyClass? Is there some other way to do this?

    I have set up a Microsoft Standalone CA on 2008 R2 as a root CA. I'm trying to setup a subordinate Enterprise CA. I generated the certificate request, and submitted it to the root CA. Then, I ran the following command to set the expiration date to 20 years (the request ID is 5): certutil -setattributes 5 "ValidityPeriod:Years\nValidityPeriodUnits:20" Then, I approved the request, but it failed. The Request Status Code is: The specified time is invalid. 0x8007076d (WIN32: 1901) The Request Disposition Message is: Denied by Policy Module 0x8007076d, The requested validity period is invalid. Confirm that the validity period or expiration data and time specified in the request does not extend beyond the validity period of the CA certificate, the certificate template, and the CA. The validity period of the CA can be verified by running the following commands: certutil -getreg ca\validityPeriod & certutil -getreg ca\ValidityPeriodUnits The validity period of the CA certificate is 40 years (expires in 2052). The template condition doesn't apply since this is a standalone CA. The result of those commands is Years and 1, respectively. It appears that I will need to change the CA's validityPeriod and validityPeriodUnits. But, I want to keep the default expiration for a request at 1 year. Is there a way to set a maximum and default expiration, or am I going to have to change it, issue the certificate, and then change it back?

    I'm trying to run split testing on some landing pages I "designed" with Unbounce, but it requires that I set the CNAME record for my domain/sub-domain and I'm having trouble figuring out what is the right way to do it. My host is arvixe (www.arvixe.com) and their customer support has failed to help me for the past 5 days (I spoke to them multiple times). I followed the directions for setting the CNAME record and I was able to set the CNAME record, but I'm consistently unable to verify that the CNAME record is set up correctly. I followed the instructions on Unbounce to verify the CNAME record for my sub-domain (beta.devboost.com) and here are the results: No records found reverse lookup smtp diag port scan blacklist Reported by ns1.SNARE.arvixe.com on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at 5:49:57 PM (GMT-6) Here is my DNS zone record from the control panel of my host (last record, CNAME unbouncepages.com): Is there something wrong with my DNS Zone Record? What's the right way to do this? Update: I also have a CNAME record for beta in my root domain (devboost.com): I've updated my sub-domain record now: I've removed most of the other DNS records and I've removed the beta label for the CNAME record: Is that correct? When the 1st subreports goes beyond one page, it is not breaking a page in second page. If it is within the single page it breaks. I need to know, is the way of working is correct. I'm also setting the header 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' on both machines. The problem is that when I hit the rewrite rule, I loose the 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header setting. records... i am not able to find any solution /control using which i an do it easily. coz my field's value is in attribute named "Value" when in the examples i saw its between opening and closing tag.. i have 2 methods to do so. 1 . i make one page to edit a single record and pass id of record to that page on editing. open the page in iframe on same page to edit and in page_load get data from database for id passed and fill it in control. 2 . i store xml on server as physical file and use it in page i opened in iframe to edit the record. so i am confused... can anybody please guide me that what shpould i do to let user provide interface to edit this xml data/user profile ?

  • Set JENKINS_HOME in Tomcat7?

    I'm trying to set up Jenkins in Tomcat7 on Ubuntu. I installed Tomcat7 and deployed jenkins.war, and I now see the Jenkins home page at http://myhost:8080/jenkins, but it's attempting to create the Jenkins directory at /usr/share/tomcat7/.jenkins, which it can't for security reasons. I've already created /srv/jenkins and given the tomcat7 group permissions, and want to set JENKINS_HOME to that path. I've tried adding it to the tomcat configuration in /etc/tomcat7/server.xml: <GlobalNamingResources> <Environment name="JENKINS_HOME" value="/srv/jenkins" type="java.lang.String" override="false"/> <!-- Default settings --> And I've also tried adding it to the automatically created context file in ROOT/META-INF/context.xml (there is no $CATALINA_HOME/conf as far as I can tell). <Context path="/" antiResourceLocking="false" > <Environment name="JENKINS_HOME" value="/srv/jenkins/" type="java.lang.String"/> </Context> But even after restarting tomcat7 I still get the same result (trying to use /usr/share/tomcat7/.jenkins).   • mongodb: insert if not exists

    Hello, Every day, I receive a stock of documents (an update). What I want to do is inserting each of them if it does not exists. I also want to keep track of the first time I inserted them, and the last time I saw them in an update. I don't want to have duplicate documents. I don't want to remove a document which has previously been saved, but is not in my update. 95% (estimated) of the records are unmodified from day to day. I am using the python driver (pymongo), for that matter. What I currently do is (pseudo-code): for each document in update: existing_document = collection.find_one(document) if not existing_document: document['insertion_date'] = now else: document = existing_document document['last_update_date'] = now my_collection.save(document) My problem is that it is very slow (40 mins for less than 100 000 records, and I have millions of them in the update). I am pretty sure there is something builtin for doing this, but the document for update() is mmmhhh.... a bit terse....     In VS2008, it used to be that whenever I was typing an html attribute in an .aspx page when I hit '=' a pair of double quotes was automatically inserted and the cursor placed inside them. I guess I've changed a setting, but I don't know what to change to get that functionality back. I am using Resharper if it makes a difference.

I have my table like this Product (uuid, Name) and one datagridview to display this information ( dataGridView.DataSouce = Products which is assign on runtime) My problem is that I want to have "No" column on dataGridView which will show like below No | Name 1 | ProdctA 2 | ProductB 3 | ProductC What I do right now is create a "No" field on my product Model, and loop through all the row and assign value to it. I think this is not a good solution. Hope anyone can suggest better solution. Thanks,

    I'm using JavaFX integrated HTMLEditor. All the functions that it has are fine but I need to have also the function of inserting an image inside the HTML text. Do you know some source which I could use? Or some other HTML (WYSIWYG) editor that could be used inside JavaFX and it has this functionality ? I can program this functionality into the existing JavaFX HTMLEditor by myself, but I prefer to ask before I start doing something :) Thank you very much for your answers ;)
