  • How can I keep doxygen from documenting #defines in a C file?

    I have #define values in headers that I certainly want Doxygen to document but I have others in C files that I treat as static constants and I don't want Doxygen to document them. Something as simple and stupid as #define NUMBER_OF(a) (sizeof((a))/sizeof((a)[0])) #define MSTR(e) #e How can I keep Doxygen from putting those #defines in the documentation it creates? I've tried marking it with @internal but that didn't seem to help. A somewhat-related question on Doxygen and #define, how can I get: #define SOME_CONSTANT 1234 /**< An explanation */ to put "SOME_CONSTANT" and "An explanation" but not "1234" in the output?

  • Xcode puts Default.png in my plist as an Icon file when I assign a Launch Image

    When I set a Launch Image, Xcode creates a copy as Default.png and creates an entry in my plist in Icon Files (IOS 5) / Primary Icon / Icon Items -- Item 1 : Default.png Item 0 : MyIcon.png is the app icon which I have already placed through the Target. The reason this is a problem is that the launch image then takes precedence over the actual icon and as a result, it shows as the primary icon instead of my actual icon image. Why is Xcode doing this? Can I safely delete the Default.png entry from my .plist? (this seems to fix the problem) Do I need to copy Default.png somewhere else? Thanks!

  • Use the keyword class as a variable name in C++

    I am having trouble writing C++ code that uses a header file designed for a C file. In particular, the header file used a variable name called class: int BPY_class_validate(const char *class_type, PyObject *class, PyObject *base_class, BPY_class_attr_check* class_attrs, PyObject **py_class_attrs); This works in C as class isn't taken as a keyword, but in C++, class is. So is there anyway I can #include this header file into a c++ file, or am I out of luck? Thank you.

  • Visual Studio Deployment Package - change the file structure the .zip creates?

    Everything works as expected but I would like to improve the directory structure that the .zip produces. When I create a deployment package I have it create in a custom directory which works fine but the .zip it creates is in the structure of: content/c_c/users/pcName/documents/VS2010/Projects/ProjectName/obj/release/package/packageTmp Only in the packageTmp directory do I get to the files I want! Is there a way for the created zip to not include all of those empty directories?

  • Xcode File management. What is best practice?

    I've been using Xcode for a while now. One thing that always bugs me is the way it handles files. I like to have my files all in nested folders rather than one big physical folder, but when you create a group in Xcode by default it does not create a folder just a virtual folder within the project. I can see that virtual folders are great for linking code in arbitrary places into your project but once you get beyond a few classes I find the one big folder approach really painful. And then if you try to fix it later it takes ages and is easy to break your build. Is it possible to change this behaviour so that by default it creates a physical folder? Or am I doing it wrong and trying to cling to some other way of working? How do other people work with files in Xcode?

    Per subject, how does msbuild decide whether it needs to rebuild a library (ie, invoke csc), or not, when it is run against a C# project file? I imagine (but want to confirm): If there's no output directory, rebuild (duh :) ) If a C# file has changed, rebuild If an included file marked copy-always has changed, rebuild or is it smart enough to not rebuild, but just copy the file to the existing output? If an included file marked copy-if-newer has changed, rebuild same question as above

The tools I used were the latest versions of: My 64-bit development PC running Windows 8 Update with 8Gb RAM Visual Studio 2013 Ultimate with SP2 ReSharper GhostDoc Pro My first attempt had to be abandoned due to collision of class names which broke one of the unit tests. So being aware of this duplication of class names, I started again and planned to prepend the class names with the namespace name. In some cases I additionally prepended the item of the C5 collection that was being tested. So what was the condition of code at the start? Besides the sprawl of C# code not written to style cop standard, there was: 1) Placing of many classes within one physical file. 2) Namespace within name space that did not follow the project structure. 3) As already mentioned, duplication of class names across namespaces. 4) A copyright notice that spawled but had to be preserved. 5) Project sub-folders were all lower case instead of initial letter capitalised. The first step was to add a stylecop heading plus the original heading contained within a region, to every file. The next step was to run GhostDoc Pro using its “Document File” option on every file but not letting it replace the headers, I had added. This brought the number of issues down to 18,192. I then went through each file collapsing each class and prepending names as appropriate. At each step, I saved the changes to my local Git. The step was to move each class to its own file and to style-cop each file. ReSharper provides a very useful feature for doing this which also fixes missing “this.” and moves using statements inside the namespace. Some classes required minimal work whereas others required extensive work to reach the stylecop standard. The unit tests were run at each split and when each class was completed. When all was done, one issue remained which I will need to submit to stylecop team for their advice (and possibly a fix to stylecop).     Hi guys, I have this question in which I have a SQL Server Compact Edition database for a desktop application. I am completely new to Sql Server Compact Edition. The question is, does the data inserted in the database persist even if the application is shut down or restarted? Coz I cant seem to find my data when using Sql Server Management Studio to manage the database. Am I missing anything/something? EDIT: Is SQL Server Compact Edition used for caching local data only? We cant use it like what we normally do on Sql Server Express for example managing data using Sql Server Management Studio?

    I'm trying to install a software called Teambox in my Dreamhost shared account. I have no experience with Rails. I just want to install the software in the shared hosting. In this shared hosting, all dependencies are ok, but I have to create the dabatase from their panel. I can't create in command line (ssh). So, when I run "rake db:create" these's an error, because the db already exists (because I created in panel). I've already contacted support. They can't change this policy. How do I populate my tables "by hand" in this case? Which files should I look inside Teambox's folder... Thanks!

    I have created a blog on Tumblr a few days ago. Looking over the statistics, it seems that Tumblr itself is visiting my website, using different browsers. What is this supposed to mean? Are these real visitors or is it a Tumblr bot? One example: Browser: Chrome 32.0 OS: Win8 Resolution: 1024x768 Location: New York, United States IP Address: Tumblr (66.6.40.249) Referring URL: (No referring link) Other browsers used include: Chrome 20.0.1090.0 Firefox 21 Opera 12.14 Chrome 15.0.861.0 Chrome 32.0.1667.0 Internet Explorer 6 Internet Explorer 9 Opera 12 Opera 12.02 They all use the same screen resolution (1024x768) and have no referrer. The flash version is not set, but they do support javascript. Unfortunately, I don't have the full user agent string.

    Hi there! I've also posted this on the macnn forums, but thought I may get a better response here. I was hoping to find some help with using applescript (something I have never tried before, though I have a good knowledge of php etc) I need to create an applescript that will copy specified files from one folder to a newly created folder. These files need to be specified in the applescript. so something like: start fileToBeMoved = "Desktop/Test Folder 1/test.doc" newfoldername = "Test Folder 2" make newfolder and name it 'newfoldername' copy 'fileToBeMoved' to 'newfolder' end I'm so sorry for the rubbish description!   • Linking to a file (e.g. PDF) within a CakePHP view.

    I'd like to link to some PDFs in one of my controller views. What's the best practice for accomplishing this? The CakePHP webroot folder contains a ./files/ subfolder, I am confounded by trying to link to it without using "magic" pathnames in my href (e.g. "/path/to/my/webroot/files/myfile.pdf"). What are my options? EDIT: I didn't adequately describe my question. I was attempting to link to files in /app/webroot/files/ in a platform-agnostic (ie. no mod_rewrite) way. I've since worked around this issue by storing such files outside the CakePHP directory structure.
