  We're sending out 1000's of mails per day from our site (mainly "click here to verify your subscription") and too many are getting flagged by spam (mainly hotmail). One of the things I noticed in the headers is X-Authentication-Warning: srv01.site.com: www-data set sender to site@site.com using -f Is this something I should be worried about, that may cause spam flags to raise? (I'm already checking various issues that have been mentioned regarding spam flagging over at stackoverflow, I know there are many factors in play)

  I'm on a Web Hosting Buzz reseller account. They have some very stringent mail sending rules, including blocking of authenticated SMTP socket mail sending using PEAR. It was suggested in WHB forum that this was possible with sSMTP. I've since gotten SSH access and googled how to install sSMTP from SSH: rpm -Uvh http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-3.noarch.rpm yum install ssmtp However, the first line fails with: Retrieving http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-3.noarch.rpm error: skipping http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/epel/5/i386/epel-release-5-3.noarch.rpm - transfer failed - Unknown or unexpected error It was a very old thread in WHB forum and the thread poster could not be reached for assistance. • How to list all attached USB devices in Visual C++

  In Short: I need to detect hotplug events of my USB CDC device by PID/VID and get the corresponding virtual COM port which was created by Windows in Visual C++ and in the end create a dll. I have a USB CDC device which I need to be notified of when connected/disconnected on Windows. My approach is to use RegisterDeviceNotification and an "invisible" Window to receive WM_DEVICECHANGE notifications. This part is working so far. Now as far as I found out I need to get the list of USB devices that is plugged, iterate over it and filter out the devices with my PID/VID? I assume that I am then able to get more informations about the device including the COM port? Is the only way to achieve my goal to use SetupDi calls in setupapi.h? Is using WDK / DDK the only way to achieve my goal? As soon as that is working I open-source it on http://github.com/vinzenzweber/USBEventHandler. The Mac version is available already!

  I downloaded kXML and included this in my Build Path (Eclipse). Is there something wrong with the most recent kXML Jar? Does anyone have experience with using kXML? What did you do to get this to work?

  Apache allows you to create a directory list (when configured) if you visit a folder with no index.html. What I want to know is, is it possible to get that same list but at a different URL?   I successfully configured Postfix to deliver messages to virtual mailboxes. I can set aliases and pipes inside /etc/postfix/virtual and mailboxes inside /etc/postfix/virtual_mailbox files. However, whenever I set a catch-all domain and point to a remote email address, it overrides all other virtual mailboxes and virtual aliases set in postfix. How can I set a catch-all forwarding to the remote email address when virtual mailbox is enabled? I set catch-all like this: @mydomain.com catchall@otherdomain.com Thanks for your help!

  Scenario: I have a regular aspx page with a form. When someone clicks a button the form submitted via post like normal. HOWEVER. The page where the form resides is the default page(Default.aspx). So when someone goes to the site: http://site.com/ and submits the forms he gets redirected to http://site.com/default.aspx. I tried setting the action of the form to http://site.com/. However asp.net does not allow to use root urls with a POST. So is there any workaround? Ajax is not an option.

• Problem with Japanese/International Characters with IIS7 URL Rewrite

  I have a friend with a Japanese blog, using wordpress, he has the pretty url. Basically domain.com/postname. Well an example of a url might be. "domain.com/???". His blog is hosted on an Apache web server. I am running IIS7 and am trying to get my Japanese blog going like it should, and have "domain.com/???" show just that one post when you visit that url. My thinking is it has something to do with url-encoding. I can't find too much information on utf-8 or anything about getting international characters to work in a url. Any help on this would be great. I am thinking I should change something in the web.config file, but not to sure. I haven't had a lot of experience with IIS7. Thanks.

I can't get it to work; any ideas? EDIT: I've fixed the hardblock. I've tried pinging www.google.com, but to no avail. • Change default DNS server in Arch Linux

  I'm in Viet Nam and most social websites (Facebook, Twitter and the likes - even reddit) are blocked by the ISP DNS server. I tried to change the DNS server of my Arch box using the resolv.conf file, but it failed miserably since dhcpd generates this file automatically everytime I connect to the LAN. I've been looking around to try and find out how to fix this, without success. Either I s*ck at Googling, either it is non-trivial to do so. EDIT 1: Meh, apparently posting it here made me feel guilty and I had to push my search a bit more. I found the same article than Ankur post below.   I have some ASP code that I've "inherited" from my predecessor (no, it's not an option to update it at this time...It would take an act of not only Congress, but every other foreign country too) and I'm having an issue sending mail on one of the pages. It is an almost identical code snippet from the other page, but this one throws an error when I try to 'Send'. • Problem while reading the File in a eclipse Plugin application

  I 've developed an eclipse plugin and in that I have a java file trying to read directories and then populate result accordingly. When I try to run the file from eclipse itself through RunJava application , it gives me proper result but as soon as I try to run the same through Eclipse Application, it is throwing NullPointerException because unable to find the directory. I tried the following ways- Suppose , I have a package as - Package - com.test.abhishek.file.java.TestWork.java Directories - com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir1 com.test.abhishek.file.java.Dir2 Now in TestWork.java- InputStream is = LGHelpContentView.class.getResourceAsStream("/"+dirName);** The above line is getting failed. How should I keep my directory and where so that it will run as an eclipse plug-in as well.
