    I am using WebBrowserControl in winforms to automate a data entry form. This website opens a new dialog window using ShowModalDialog and puts all the form fields in that new dialog window. How can I access that modal dialog window's contents from my winforms code and want to populate fields. When I access the webbrowser's document it shows the main document not the opened dialog window. Is there any way to access the opened dialog's document? I tried to inject javascript to access contents but the javascript is blocked till the modal dialog is open.

    Hello, I work since 2 days on WMD & Markdown and i don't find THE solution for stock data with security. I would like users can post html/xml (with WMD) on my site. For the moment, I stock data in Markdown format but If I disabled JavaScript the user can push easy XSS. If I strip_tags or html_entities all data i loose the user html/xml . How can I do ? In my opinion I must html_entities just the code between pre /pre, but how?! my data is in Markdown.   • Repairing malformatted html attributes using c#

    I have a web application with an upload functionality for HTML files generated by chess software to be able to include a javascript player that reproduces a chess game. I do not like to load the uploaded files in a frame so I reconstruct the HTML and javascript generated by the software by parsing the dynamic parts of the file. The problem with the HTML is that all attributes values are surrounded with an apostrophe instead of a quotation mark. I am looking for a way to fix this using a library or a regex replace using c#. The html looks like this: <DIV class='pgb'><TABLE class='pgbb' CELLSPACING='0' CELLPADDING='0'><TR><TD> and I would transform it into: <DIV class="pgb"><TABLE class="pgbb" CELLSPACING="0" CELLPADDING="0"><TR><TD>

  • Calling CONTENT_SCRIPT JS From BROWSER_ACTION Popup HTML

    I'm working on a Google Chrome Extension and would like to get an HTML from within my popup HTML to call functions within my loaded javascript file.   • Override HTML Anchor Link Target inside iFrame

    We're calling an ad from an ad network to dynamically load an add using JavaScript. It makes an iFrame with the actual ad in it, a picture wrapped in an anchor tag with the target=_top. Is there a way from our page to change its target and capture the attempt to change our page. Also, our page is loaded in a C#.net program using a WebControl (I forget the actual control being used since it was a while ago). We can change the C# code but we really prefer not to because then we'd have to test it and everything. Is there a way to do this with JavaScript or JQuery?

  • How to implement SAML SSO

    How is SAML SSO typically implemented? I've read this about using SAML with Google Apps, and the wikipedia entry on SAML. The wikipedia entry talks about responding with forms containing details of the SAMLRequest and SAMLResponse. Does this mean that the user has to physically submit the form in order to proceed with the single sign on? The google entry talks about using redirects, which seems more seemless to me. However, it also talks about using a form for the response which the user must submit (although it does talk about using JavaScript to automatically submit the form). Is this the standard way of doing this? Using redirects and JavaScript for form submission? Does anyone know of any other good resources about how to go about implementing SSO between a Windows Domain and a J2EE web application. The web application is on a separate network/domain. My client wants to use CA Siteminder (with SAML).

  • Does my fat-client application belong in the MVC pattern?

    The web-based application I’m currently working on is growing arms and legs! It’s basically an administration system which helps users to keep track of bookings, user accounts, invoicing etc. It can also be accessed via a couple of different websites using a fairly crude API. The fat-client design loosely follows the MVC pattern (or perhaps MVP) with a php/MySQL backend, Front Controller, several dissimilar Page Controllers, a liberal smattering of object-oriented and procedural Models, a confusing bunch of Views and templates, some JavaScripts, CSS files and Flash objects. The programmer in me is a big fan of the principle of “Separation of Concerns” and on that note, I’m currently trying to figure out the best way to separate and combine the various concerns as the project grows and more people contribute to it. The problem we’re facing is that although JavaScript (or Flash with ActionScript) is normally written with the template, hence part of the View and decoupled from the Controller and Model, we find that it actually encompasses the entire MVC pattern... Swap an image with an onmouseover event - that’s Behaviour. Render a datagrid - we’re manipulating the View. Send the result of reordering a list via AJAX - now we’re in Control. Check a form field to see if an email address is in a valid format - we’re consulting the Model. Is it wise to let the database people write up the validation Model with jQuery? Can the php programmers write the necessary Control structures in JavaScript? Can the web designers really write a functional AJAX form for their View? Should there be a JavaScript overlord for every project? If the MVC pattern could be applied to the people instead of the code, we would end up with this: Model - the database boffins - “SELECT * FROM mind WHERE interested IS NULL” Control - pesky programmers - “class Something extends NothingAbstractClass{…}” View - traditionally the domain of the graphic/web designer - “” …and a new layer: Behaviour - interaction and feedback designer - “CSS3 is the new black…” So, we’re refactoring and I’d like to stick to best practice design, but I’m not sure how to proceed. I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, so would anyone have any hints or tips as to what pattern I should be looking at or any code samples from someone who’s already done the dirty work? As the programmer guy, how can I rewrite the app for backend and front end whilst keeping the two separate? And before you ask, yes I’ve looked at Zend, CodeIgnitor, Symfony, etc., and no, they don’t seem to cross the boundary between server logic and client logic!

  • Can someone recommend a bells and whistles CSS framework?

    I am looking for a bells and whistles CSS framework. I have found a number online that deal with "grids", and some that deal with "typography" and others that deal with "resetting". What I have not found is something that will give my web applications a consistent reusable style or theme. I guess it would have to have a number of predefined elements that do things, for example: div.boxed {...} And then a number of themes or plugins that provide these in a consistent way. Javascript toolkits like ExtJS, YUI, and also GWT have their own skinability, and I guess this is the featureset that I want, but independent of any Javascript library. (Open source would be best, but we don't mind paying) Edit: 5 good answers, but I have seen all those frameworks, and they are not enough of what I am looking for. Perhaps what I am looking for doesn't exist. Or I haven't explained properly. I will give them a good going over and see.

  • Enabling "AllowDualLinkModes" in xorg.conf

    I'm using a GeForce GT 620 (which is dual-link compatable) and a DVI-I dual-link splitter to try to have a desktop extended onto two monitors. At the moment when I plug in the monitors, only the monitor on the female VGA marked "1" gets a signal, and the other screen gets nothing and only one screen is detected by nvidia-settings. After reading around, I have realised that my graphics card probably comes with dual-link disabled by default, and I can enable it by adding an "AllowDualLinkModes" option to my xorg.conf. This is the current state of my xorg.conf Section "Device" Identifier "Default Device" Option "NoLogo" "True" EndSection Where do I put the line about AllowDualLinkModes? Do I create a new Section?     I have added my mount devices in /etc/fstab and they get correctly mounted (2nd partition with ntfs and nas-share with nfs). I have also disabled automount in Nautilus preferences by using dconf-editor (following this post): user@server:~$ gsettings list-recursively org.gnome.desktop.media-handling org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount false org.gnome.desktop.media-handling automount-open false org.gnome.desktop.media-handling autorun-never false Now i see every mount device twice in Nautilus (the entry in fstab already mounted). When clicking on the other entry i get the eligible message mount.nfs: /media/nas_share is busy or already mounted How i can i disable the appearente of those devices in Nautilus? EDIT Regarding automount: I have only one line in /etc/auto.master: +auto.master

    Hello, As RESTful web services is url based and is not a object, we can't call methods on it. I have a simple web service with only one method in it with is @GET. I saw one screencast and it used some javascript library to consume the web service. But, how do i use it with my JSF project? I can't even inject it like a normal web service. Please help. I am new to REST. Can i not consume it in my managed bean? If the only way to consume the webservice is through javascript, can anybody here give me details of how to consume it through JQuery?     Bluetooth not working, it shows turned on but manager indicated Bluetooth disabled. Uninstalled default manager and installed Blueman. The same with Blueman, clicking on connect to devices gets response 'adapters not found'. I've found many more people with the same problem. The fixes found in the archive don't work for me. I've tried a couple of things from the forum. I'm not familiar with computer hardware or software but have been using Ubuntu cause it saves me money, it's fairly easy to use and it does not tax my mid-range lap. Any help will be appreciated.

  • Which hosted ecommerce solutions allow customization?

    Following my previous question, I'm now evaluating the possibility of using a hosted platform for the ecommerce project I have to implement. Before I start "playing" with each one of them, I'd like ask if anybody knows which ones allow a good degree of customization. At the moment I'm looking at BigCommerce, but it seems that customization is limited to templates, while I need additional features which require PHP Coding. Also, I'd need to be able to import additional product data into the system, and I'd need to do this via code; I had a look at some integrations, but they gave me the impression that they all run on the rendered page via JavaScript. For example, if I want to show Facebook Reviews on a product, I'll have to add some JS that will fetch it and show it on the page. This is not optimal, as I must cater for people with JS disabled, therefore I'd need to run my own PHP code. Thanks again for all the opinions.

    I have several javascript functions to validate the input data in textbox, so it will limit the user to type into the textbox a range of numbers (eg. from 0 to 500) an x amount of decimals (eg. 1 or 2 or 3 ....). I am having some issues with the javascript functions because they are three separate functions and the alerts get a bit mixed up. I was wondering if there is a jquery function that will make it neat, effective and simple. Thanks.

  • jquery sortable item cached? #sortable items: '.class1' filter is not working when class is changed
