  • Helicon ISAPI_REWRITE for masking folder

    Hello, I would like to use the ISAPI_REWRITE module to rewrite a url: www.site.com/app/ to www.site.com So that the user doesn't see the folder where the application is... the reason why isn't important, but essentially I need to mask this folder due to an IIS structure change. Any help would be appreciated. I need to remap any requested file in the app directory and any related subdirectory to the main URL. Thanks.

  • Gallery items become off-center when switching into landscape orientation.

I'm writing an application for android 2.2 and I'm using a gallery to circulate through a list of images that the user can then click to navigate other portions of the application. In portrait orientation, everything is kosher: the images are displaying correctly (completely in the center of the screen as I intended); however, in landscape orientation, all the images in the gallery are strangely displaced a fixed distance to the left of the center of the screen. I've been researching this issue for hours now and haven't found a solution. I'm hoping that some android guru can aid me in the resolution of this bizarre rendering issue.   • LDAP installed, running, but can't connect remotely [Ubuntu 10.10]

  • Attempting to ping RPC endpoint 6001/6004 (Exchange Information Store) on server on Exchange2010

    I have Exchange 2010 in hosting setup like: TMG 2010 as load balancer Exchange 2010 x 2 (CAS,MAILBOX,HUB on each server) AD1, AD2 machines File witness All people currently connect thru OWA or POP3/SMTP and that works fine. The problem is autodiscovery doesn't work and RPC in terms of setting up Outlook doesn't work too. It doesn't work if I am connected with VPN or not. The thing is it used to work. Before reinstall of my machine 2 days ago I was able to get mails successfully thru Outlook that was set up using autodiscovery (but I was getting reports setting up of new clients wasn't working - so not sure why my outlook continued to work). I used https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com to track it down and basically the message is more or less this: Attempting to ping RPC endpoint 6004 (NSPI Proxy Interface) on server autodiscover.domain.pl. The attempt to ping the endpoint failed. Additional Details The RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE error (0x6ba) was thrown by the RPC Runtime process.   • Eclipse (Springsource Tool Suite 2.3.1) can't resolve dependencies for classes in the same package

    This started happening when I upgraded my Springsource Toolsuite from 2.3 to 2.3.1. Essentially whenever I do anything, such as open a file, change a file, etc, I have to do a clean. Everything works fine when I do mvn commands on the command line, which leads me to believe that Eclipse is looking in the wrong place for compiled code or something along those lines, although that is entirely superstitious at this point. Example: I make a change to com.foo.mypackage.MyClass. Suddenly a bunch of tests that excercise MyClass get the red x - for class not found! In src/main/test: com.foo.DbUnitTest com.foo.mypackage.FooTest extends DbUnitTest DbUnitTest gets a class not found. I do a clean, and everything is fine. I touch something, and it breaks again :(. I don't really know where to begin on how to troubleshoot this.

    On android platforms (confirmed on ICS), if a content provider dies while a client is in the middle of a query (i.e. has a open cursor) the framework decides to kill the client processes holding a open cursor. Here is a logcat output when i tried this with a download manager query that sleeps after doing a query. The "sleep" was to reproduce the problem. you can imagine it happening in a regular use case when the provider dies at the right/wrong time. And then do a kill of com.android.media (which hosts the downloadProvider). "Killing com.example (pid 12234) because provider com.android.providers.downloads.DownloadProvider is in dying process android.process.media" I tracked the code for this in ActivityManagerService::removeDyingProviderLocked Is this a policy decision or is the cursor access unsafe after the provider has died? It looks like the client cursor is holding a fd for an ashmem location populated by the CP. Is this the reason the clients are killed instead of throwing an exception like Binders when the server (provider) dies ?

    Currently running BIND on RHEL 5.4 and am looking for a more efficient manner of providing DNS redirection to a honeypot server for a large (30,000+) list of forbidden domains. Our current solution for this requirement is to include a file containing a zone master declaration for each blocked domain in named.conf. Subsequently, each of these zone declarations point to the same zone file, which resolves all hosts in that domain to our honeypot servers. ...basically this allows us to capture any "phone home" attempts by malware that may infiltrate the internal systems. The problem with this configuration is the large amount of time taken to load all 30,000+ domains as well as management of the domain list configuration file itself... if any errors creep into this file, the BIND server will fail to start, thereby making automation of the process a little frightening.     We're using DPM 2010 for exchange backups, The backup Disk(s) are iSCSI attached drives from multiple NAS boxes. We'd like to mirror iqn.2009-07.com.example.example:RAID.iscsi4.vg0.iscsi05 onto iqn.2012-3.com.example.example:RAID.iscsi4.vg0.iscsi05 DPM 2010 requires the disk for itself and handles volume creation, Therefore we can't just create a mirrored volume in Disk Management. DPM itself doesn't seem to have any ability to mirror the Disks in its storage pool. Any tips on how to mirror the volumes from one drive to the other?

  • EC2 instance suddenly refusing SSH connections and won't respond to ping

    My instance was running fine and this morning I was able to access a Ruby on Rails app hosted on it. An hour later I suddenly wasn't able to access my site, my SSH connection attempts were refused and the server wasn't even responding to ping. I didn't change anything on my system during that hour and reboots aren't fixing it. I've never had any problems connecting or pinging the system before. Can someone please help? This is on my production system!     I need to get basic user data from Facebook using FB.api('/<some_id>/'). This works well, but is slow, since I need to ask for every id separately and make several calls to facebook. Is there any way to gather all ids and ask for them in single request and get an array? EDIT I am not asking for user friends. I am actually trying to gather friends' friends of a user and that's something Facebook doesn't provide, that's why I am using graph.facebook.com/<id>/ rather than graph.facebook.com/me/friends.
