Apr 4 08:26:23 mydomain proftpd[4240]: mydomain.com (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) - Preparing to chroot to directory 'path-to/domain' Can anyone explaom to me what this means. Everything works fine however, the are no other messages except for these 2.

• ASP.NET application within wordpress installation on IIS 7

  Hi all, a client has a wordpress installation on their IIS server located at www.mydomain.com. We would like to put our asp.net application in a subdirectory of the wordpress installation - at something like mydomain.com/asp. When I navigate to that directory I get a standard wordpress "Page not found" error. I am more familiar with htaccess, so how would I get wordpress to ignore a subdirectory in IIS? Thanks!

  I have installed both shoulda and factory_girl, I can run shoulda just fine, but when I add this: require 'factory_girl' Factory.define :user do |u| u.mail 'test@example.com' u.pass 'secret' end to my test/test_helper.rb I'm getting this error: /test/test_helper.rb:1:in `require': no such file to load -- factory_girl (LoadError) when I execute rake test:units I have installed both gems using: sudo gem install thoughtbot-shoulda --source=http://gems.github.com sudo gem install thoughtbot-factory_girl --source=http://gems.github.com and can see both of them being installed fine. And by the way, this works fine as well: script/console Loading development environment (Rails 2.3.8) require 'factory_girl' = [] so requiring the gems seems to be working

  Okay so I am launching a cloned e-commerce site. I want to create a rewrite rule for the image folder for the second site to fetch images from the first site. RewriteRule ^alice.gif$ www.rhinomart.com/images/h_home.gif When I go to alice.gif directly through the browser it simply redirects me to the rhinomart.com URL and image. How do I prevent the redirect from occurring? When I go to http://www.acnbiz.net/alice.gif it should fetch alice.gif directly from Rhinomart.com/images and not redirect. is it possible???

  I have http://example.com/index.html, which from within the HTML uses JavaScript to call a web services at http://example.com/json/?a=...&b=... The web service returns to index.html a JSON array of information to then be displayed on index.html. Since anyone can view the source code for index.html and see how I'm calling the JSON web services (http://example.com/json/), how do I prevent people from calling my JSON web service directly? Since the web service is essentially an open read into my database, I don't want people to abuse the web service and start DoS my server, fetching more information than they should, etc..

• Action Controller: Exception - ID not found

  Hi Everyone, I am slowly getting the hang of Rails and thanks to a few people I now have a basic grasp of the database relations and associations etc. You can see my previous questions here: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2714621/rails-database-relationships I have setup my applications models with all of the necessary has_one and has_many :through etc. but when I go to add a kase and choose from a company from the drop down list - it doesnt seem to be assigning the company ID to the kase. • xerces serialization in Java 6

  In Java 6, the entire xerces XML parser/serializer implementation is now in the Java runtime (rt.jar). The packages have been moved under the com.sun.* namespace, which places them off-limits for explicit reference within client code. This is not a problem when using the parser, which is instantiated via javax API-defined factories. However, our code also uses xerces serialization (org.apache.xml.serialize.* ). AFAICT, there are no javax.xml API-defined factories for creating instances of Serializer and OutputFormat. This seems to imply that the only way to get one is to explicitly call the com.sun.org.apache.xml.serialize.* APIs. I've found the serialization classes in javax.xml.stream, but they don't seem to provide any output-formatting control like the xerces OutputFormat class. Question: Is there a way to access the xerces serialization functionality (which is in rt.jar) via a javax standard API, without including xerces.jar and also without explicitly instantiating com.sun.* classes? If not, is there an javax API-compliant way to achieve the same effect?

This works great when viewing the page for the first time (or force reloading all content). However, when the image has already been cached, it doesn't use the preloading script and thus does not send the play trigger to jplayer. • jPlayer problem in Firefox - also throws error from jQuery?! Not related to OGG support.

  I've been working on a small SVG website, http://docroot.ca/ - the SVG part has been working out pretty well. In the current site, jPlayer is called and given an mp3. jPlayer functions properly in Safari, Chrome, and Opera, but not Firefox which throws the following two errors: Error: not well-formed Source File: Line: 1, Column: 191 Source Code: <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><embed name="jqjp_flash_0" id="jqjp_flash_0" src="js/Jplayer.swf" width="0" height="0" bgcolor="#ffffff" quality="high" FlashVars="id=jPlayerBox&fid=jqjp_flash_0&vol=80" allowScriptAccess="always" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" /></ and: Error: uncaught exception: [Exception...   Ciao a tutti, nella Rails app che sto realizzando, l'utente ha la possibilita' di inserire un post (campo memo) con all'interno una URL. Ad esempio: "bla bla bla bla www.blabla.com bla bla bla ..." Nel mostrare tale post vorrei che www.blabla.com diventasse un link cliccabile (come avviene in twitter). Ovviamente deve essere fatto un parsing della url, immagino usando le espressioni regolari. • Loading Youtube Iframe API with RequireJS

  I'm trying to use the Youtube Iframe API inside a module definded with Require JS. As this API is loaded async and calls a function once is loaded, I used a requireJS plugin called "async", that worked before with google maps api. However, this time something isn't working. My module starts this way: define(['text!fmwk/widgets/video/video.html','fmwk/utils/browser','async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api'], function (videoTpl,root) { ... }); and chrome console fires this error: Uncaught Error: Load timeout for modules: async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api_unnormalized3,async!http://www.youtube.com/iframe_api http://requirejs.org/docs/errors.html#timeout If I don't use async plugin the object YT or its functions are undefinded, and the same happens if I download the API code. The API is loaded sometimes if I put an script tag in the head tag of the html file. All this is expected, but I don't understand because async plugin fails. Thank you for your attention and help :)
