    I'm developing a reusable library and have been creating abstract classes, so the client can then extend from these. QUESTION: Is there any reason in fact I should use an abstract class here as opposed to just a normal class? Note - Have already decided I do not want to use interfaces as I want to include actual default methods in my library so the client using it doesn't have to write the code.

    Hi, currently I'm developing in eclipse 3.5 in different project web applications for tomcat 6.0.24. For each of this project I have written a ant build file to generate the war file to deploy the project to the tomcat container. So I have to run for each project the ant build file (a lot of clicks, and a waste of time). For example: In JDeveloper, change the default editor to Source view from Design view for JSP files.   Tools » Preferences » File Types » Default Editors » JSP Tag File By default, JDeveloper opens JSP files in Design view, which can take 10 to 15 seconds to begin editing a file. Opening files in Source view only takes 2 seconds.

    We are developing a project for a client that requires a rich text editor that supports both tables and "real" tabs for indentation. Of the editors we've looked at, both TinyMCE and FreeRichTextEditor are very close fits, but indenting with tab seems to only work in WebKit-based browsers. Is there a (preferably free) cross-browser compatible rich text editor that supports both of these features, or a way of 'fixing' tab support in Trident and Mozilla-based browsers?

    In a web LOB web based SaaS product we are developing that we explicitly not support IE 6, only IE7/8, FF 3, Chrome, Opera, WebKit etc... which allow px resize as standard, is it still important to use em rather than px? Its a lot more work to consider the compute font size (size em are computed from their inheritance chain) especially when nesting html reuse components where a font-size has already been specified in an outer container.

    I am developing an application in which I need to extract the audio from a video. The audio needs to be extracted in .wav format but I do not have a problem with the video format. Any format will do, as long as I can extract the audio in a wav file. Currently I am using Windows Media Player COM control in a windows form to play the videos, but any other embedded player will do as well. Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks
