• Help me for creating huge database in Mysql

  We are building a website for business on global wise, for every country major cities are covered in this concept. I need some suggestions from PHP Mysql People. Can i create single databse for all cities or multiple databases. Because in this system contains some relations between cities ,every chamber need nearly 50 tables for networking and some other tables. If I can create separate databases for every chamber there would be nearly 50*1000 tables need because we have 1000 cities. So Please give suggestions how can i build database for my system.   Hi, i have two tables category and hotels where category.id should be equal to hotels.catid. Now how do i select 3 rows from each different category from the hotels table. I have this query: select h.* from hotels h inner join category c on h.catid = c.id order by h.catid, h.hid this selects all records, but i want to select three rows per different category so in all it should return 9 rows with 3 rows for each category. If this can not be done in mysql, you could also suggest php code please. Thanks

  I'm trying to run through this msdn article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd723645.aspx One of the steps is: In the class file for the page, change the base class from UserControl to EntityTemplateUserControl. Nowhere is it made clear what page is being referenced. Can someone help me? I don't see any relevant class in the pages I have, so I assumed maybe they were talking about the ascx and didn't really mean page, but I'm not seeing an option there either.

• IContextMenu::GetCommandString Not showing help text in Windows Explorer

  Hi, i am implementing a shell context menu for windows explorer and have successfully created the menu's. What i am having trouble with is the IContextMenu::GetCommandString method that displays the help text in the status bar when you hover over the selected menu item. When i do hover over each item nothing is displayed, but whats weird is that some of the other items that i didnt create, eg - open, or print have had their help text turned into garbage..   Yes following from this: PHP: if more than ..px resize to.. As you can see it resizes if: if($width > 604 && $height > 453) { This works fine.. Although what if $width is over 604, and $height is under 453.. eg: 604x300, then this will skip the resize procedure..and same contrary(width is under, height is over). Also, if the dimensions on a picture is 500x900, and it gets resized, it gets really ugly resized. any great fix? Any good suggestion on how I should handle this please?

  Please see pic, this is what I want to do. I am really struggling to bloody do it lol. The master div, is 600px wide ( blue bg ) and need splitting into two areas, left for the image and right for the text etc. Ignore the vertical divider line The left hand div, is approx 200px wide, and need to specify a min-height of 100px, as the placeholder image which is centered to that div 50% 50% will change size, as I will be adding another div like this with larger image placeholder. The right part contains the header tag, description, button and second description. I have already constructed this and works fine in chrome and ff, but not in ie. Has significant changes between releases which many developers wont welcome right away. Running time cannot be comprehensively estimated since the language has several underlying implementation in several languages. Books are always outdated by the time when you finish them. Thanks.
