  • Can I migrate from ClearCase to Serena VM?

    - by Rich B
    I have a repository using Rational ClearCase Explorer 2003.06.10+ which I want to migrate into Serena ChangeMan Version Manager 8.1.4.2. Is this possible? The ClearCase repository was not used for all it's functions, just as a place to hold copies of documents, so the only thing I need to keep is the files and their version histories.

  • How can I import the System.Linq namespace to Boo?

    - by OmiD Rezaei
    When I try to import the System.Linq namespace to Boo compiler, I get this error: Boo.Lang.Compiler.CompilerError: Namespace 'System.Linq' not found, maybe you forgot to add an assembly reference? I use "Rhino.DSL.dll" and my DSL engine code is here: public class MyDslEngine : DslEngine { protected override void CustomizeCompiler(BooCompiler compiler, CompilerPipeline pipeline, string[] urls) { pipeline.Insert(1, new AnonymousBaseClassCompilerStep(typeof(DslBase), "Prepare", "System.Linq", "Azarakhsh.Framework.Repository" //it's my repository framework )); pipeline.Insert(2, new UseSymbolsStep()); pipeline.Insert(3, new RunScriptCompilerStep()); } }

  • Fleunt NHibernate not working outside of nunit test fixtures

    - by thorkia
    Okay, here is my problem... I created a Data Layer using the RTM Fluent Nhibernate. My create session code looks like this: _session = Fluently.Configure(). Database(SQLiteConfiguration.Standard.UsingFile("Data.s3db")) .Mappings( m => { m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<ProductMap>(); m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<ProductLogMap>(); }) .ExposeConfiguration(BuildSchema) .BuildSessionFactory(); When I reference the module in a test project, then create a test fixture that looks something like this: [Test] public void CanAddProduct() { var product = new Product {Code = "9", Name = "Test 9"}; IProductRepository repository = new ProductRepository(); repository.AddProduct(product); using (ISession session = OrmHelper.OpenSession()) { var fromDb = session.Get<Product>(product.Id); Assert.IsNotNull(fromDb); Assert.AreNotSame(fromDb, product); Assert.AreEqual(fromDb.Id, product.Id); } My tests pass. When I open up the created SQLite DB, the new Product with Code 9 is in it. the tables for Product and ProductLog are there. Now, when I create a new console application, and reference the same library, do something like this: Product product = new Product() {Code = "10", Name = "Hello"}; IProductRepository repository = new ProductRepository(); repository.AddProduct(product); Console.WriteLine(product.Id); Console.ReadLine(); It doesn't work. I actually get pretty nasty exception chain. To save you lots of head aches, here is the summary: Top Level exception: An invalid or incomplete configuration was used while creating a SessionFactory. Check PotentialReasons collection, and InnerException for more detail.\r\n\r\n The PotentialReasons collection is empty The Inner exception: The IDbCommand and IDbConnection implementation in the assembly System.Data.SQLite could not be found. Ensure that the assembly System.Data.SQLite is located in the application directory or in the Global Assembly Cache. If the assembly is in the GAC, use element in the application configuration file to specify the full name of the assembly. Both the unit test library and the console application reference the exact same version of System.Data.SQLite. Both projects have the exact same DLLs in the debug folder. I even tried copying SQLite DB the unit test library created into the debug directory of the console app, and removed the build schema lines and it still fails If anyone can help me figure out why this won't work outside of my unit tests it would be greatly appreciated. This crazy bug has me at a stand still.

  • How can I sum up the lines added/removed by a user in a git repo?

    - by Mike
    I am trying to find the total number of lines added and total number of lines removed by a user in a git repository. I looked at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1265040/how-to-count-total-lines-changed-by-a-specific-author-in-a-git-repository, which had the command git log --author="<authorname>" --pretty=tformat: --numstat, but the answer failed to give a script(however simple) to total the lines changed. What's the simplest way to sum up the lines added/removed?

  • where are the svn folders I checked in?

    - by johnny
    Trying to understand something. I created a d:\svn\repository on my server. I committed folders but when I go back to d:\svn\repository I do not see them. Are they all in a database? Will all my repositories go in that main folder and svn tracks them? What if I have two projects? Thank you.

  • Solr Facet Search spring-data-solr

    - by sv1
    I am new to Solr and we are using Spring-data for Solr I have a question may be its too simple but I am unable to comprehend. Basically I need to search on any field but I have a "zip" field as one of the facet fields. I have a Solr repository . (Am not sure if the annotations on the Repository are correct.) public interface MyRepository extends SolrCrudRepository<MyPOJO, String> { @Query(value = "*:*") @Facet(fields={"zip"}) public FacetPage<MyPOJO> findByQueryandAnno(String searchTerm,Pageable page); } In my Service class I am trying to call this methods by Injecting MyRepository like below public class MyService { @Inject MyRepository solrRepo; @Inject SolrTemplate solrTemplate; public FacetPage<MyPOJO> tryFacets(String searchString){ //Here is where I am struggling SimpleFacetQuery query = new SimpleQuery(new SimpleStringCriteria(searchString)); query.setFacetOptions(new FacetOptions("zip")); //Not sure how to get the Pageable object. //But the repository doesnt accept without it. return solrTemplate.queryForPage(query,{Pageable Instance to be passed here}) } From my jUnit I am loading context files needed for Solr and Spring //In jUnit the test method looks like this service.tryFacets("some value"); and it fails with - method not found in the service class at the call to the repository method. *********EDIT**************** As per ChristophStrobl's advice created a copyfield called multivaluedCopyField and the searchString argument works good. But the facet still isnt working...Now my code looks like this. I get the MyPOJO object as response but the facetcount and the faceted values are missing. public interface MyRepository extends SolrCrudRepository<MyPOJO, String> { @Query(value = "*:*") @Facet(fields={"zip"}) public FacetPage<MyPOJO> findByQueryandAnno(String searchTerm,Pageable page); } My service class looks like public class MyService { @Inject MyRepository solrRepo; public FacetPage<MyPOJO> tryFacets(String searchString){ //Here is where I am struggling SimpleFacetQuery query = new SimpleQuery(new SimpleStringCriteria(searchString)).setPageRequest new PageRequest(0,5)); query.setFacetOptions(new FacetOptions("zip")); FacetPage<MyPOJO> facetedPOJO= solrRepo.findByQueryandAnno(searchString,query.getPageRequest()); return facetedPOJO; } My jUnit method call is like service.tryFacets("some value");

  • What .gitignore I should use with QT projects? (QT Creator)

    - by Envek
    So, after little thinking I have wrote the following: # In repository we don't need to have: # Compiled object files *.o # Generated MOC, resource and UI files moc_*.cpp qrc_*.cpp ui_*.h # Built windows .exe and linux binaries # NOTE: PROJECT is a your project's name, analog of PROJECT.exe in Linux *.exe *.dll PROJECT # Windows-specific files Thumbs.db desktop.ini # Editors temporary files *~ # Debug and Release directories (created under Windows, not Linux) Debug/ Release/ Please ask, what needs to be added or fixed (especially for Windows - I haven't one under hand now. And Mac too [haven't work in it at all]). I want to keep my repository clear :-)

  • Saving several Monticello packages at once

    - by Juan Barreda
    I am working with Pharo Smalltalk. Suppose you want to save your own group of packages into a local repository, you know that your packages are prefixed with "MyPrefix". What's the right message to do it? In code: | myPkgs | myPkgs := MCPackage allInstances select: [: mcPkg | mcPkg name beginsWith: 'MyPrefix' ]. myPkgs do: [ : myPkg | myPkg ??? ]. It would be too difficult to script that one for a web based repository?

  • What's the equivalent of use-commit-times for git?

    - by Ben W
    I need the timestamps of files on my local and on my server to be in sync. This is accomplished with Subversion by setting use-commit-times=true in the config so that the last modified of each file is when it was committed. Each time I clone my repository, I want the timestamps of files to reflect when they were last changed in the remote repository, not when I cloned the repo. Is there any way to do this with git?

  • git rebase from a url/path

    - by edA-qa mort-ora-y
    Why can I not rebase from the same location that I can pull? For example, if I am in a pository I can pull from another repository: git pull /path/to/other But I cannot rebase from that other repository; the following fails: git rebase /path/to/other The help for rebase doesn't mention any refspec's, so I don't know how, or even if, I can/should specify them. How can I rebase from a different location?

  • How do I authenticate in Google App Engine with SVNKit?

    Creating a default authication manager with SVNKit requires access to the file system. SVNURL svnurl = SVNURL.parseURIEncoded(url); SVNRepository repository = SVNRepositoryFactory.create(svnurl); // Authentication ISVNAuthenticationManager authManager = SVNWCUtil.createDefaultAuthenticationManager(name, password); repository.setAuthenticationManager(authManager); In Google App Engine, you can't create/write files. • How to filter SVN branch in Hudson's POLL SCM?

    - by Koert
    We're using Hudson on an SVN repository that hosts a number of projects. One of these projects takes a long time to build, even if no files were changed. Right now Hudson's "Poll SVN" detects that the subversion repository has changed and will try to build the project, even if that change was in a different project. Is there a way to set up "Poll SCM" to only respond to changes in a certain branch?
