• mod_rewrite regex help

  HI guys. Im using mod_rewrite to do some redirects on a web site. I want to be able to do the following mySite.com/ - Goto Home mySite.com/foo - Goto redirect.php and redirect acordingly. My redirect rule was RewriteRule (^\w*$) redirect.php?url=$1 [NC] But im oviously missing something because when I go tomySite.com/ I get sent to redirect.php I need a regex that allow lower and upper case letters, as well as underscores but it has to ignore "empty" strings so when I go to mySite.com/ the index file is displayed. Any help? Thanks!

  I can't seem to figure out how to add additional functionality to the basic jquery autocomplete.   I have two tables: tbl_lists and tbl_houses Inside tbl_lists I have a field called HousesList - it contains the ID's for several houses in the following format: 1# 2# 4# 51# 3# I need to be able to select the mysql fields from tbl_houses WHERE ID = any of those ID's in the list. More specifically, I need to SELECT SUM(tbl_houses.HouseValue) WHERE tbl_houses.ID IN tbl_lists.HousesList -- and I want to do this select to return the SUM for several rows in tbl_lists. Anyone can help? I'm thinking of how I can do this in a SINGLE query since I don't want to do any mysql "loops" (within PHP).

  Hi, I just installed Help Center Live which works fine, but I would like to make just one minor adjustment and after looking almost everywhere I couldn't find the file where the text was listen in. At the end of each chat the user can request a copy of the transcript. I tested it and it got into the spam folder of my email client. Why, I don't know, but the point here is I would lik to add some text. After a user finishes a chat session, he or she gets a page hcl/live/chat/end.php with the following text displayed somewhere: "To e-mail yourself a copy of the transcript, please enter your e-mail address below." After entering the address and pressing submit there is a confirmation message: "A copy of the transcript has been sent to your e-mail address." And I would like to add: "Please check your spam folder if you haven't received your transcript" How can this be done? Thanks.

  Hello I'm trying to develop a function that can sort through a string that looks like this: Donny went to the {park|store|{beach with friends|beach alone}} so he could get a breath of freash air. What I intend to do is search the text recursively for {} patterns where there is no { or } inside the {}, so only the innermost sandwiched text is selected, where I will then run a php to array the contents and select one at random, repeating process until the whole string has been parsed, showing a complete sentence. I just cannot wrap my head around regular expressions though. Appreciate any help!

• Need some serious help with self join issue.

  Well as you may know, you cannot index a view with a self join. Well actually even two joins of the same table, even if it's not technically a self join. A couple of guys from microsoft came up with a work around. But it's so complicated I don't understand it!!!   Hi I'm somewhat of a newbie to python and I'm using app engine and aptanna studio - I need to run some python shell commands so that i can complete the tasks in this Tutorial on how to set up 118 and django. I have got this all working but i don't understand how i run the python commands to compile the dictionarys such as $ PYTHONPATH=/path/to/googleappengine/python/lib/django/ /path/to/googleappengine/python/lib/django/django/bin/make-messages.py -a To be honest - why am i saying that! I dont know where in aptanna studio i run this command -then worse I don't quite understand what exactly i type based on the above command line. • Need help in radiobutton within gridview

  Hi all, Thru radio button i am selecting the data from gridview. Here all radio buttons are selectable at a time. Actually it should not happen at a time user can select only one button which i could not do. My second problem is when i am selecting particular radiobutton that details should be displayed in text box. I have Itemid, ItemName, Quantity, Rate and Total field in gridview. These values i have inserted thru textbox so i have all the corresponding text box for all. So once i select particular radiobutton those details should be displayed in corresponding textbox. I have done the insertion coding for this but couldn't do selecting thru radiobutton and dispalying in textbox. Pls somebody help me in coding for this problem. Thanks, sumit

  We're seeing strange behavior when running two versions of a query on SQL Server 2005: version A: SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = 1234 ORDER BY name ASC version B: DECLARE @Id AS INT; SET @Id = 1234; SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = @Id ORDER BY name ASC Both queries return 1000 rows; version A takes on average 15s; version B on average takes 4s. Could anyone help us understand the difference in execution times of these two versions of SQL? If we invoke this query via named parameters using NHibernate, we see the following query via SQL Server profiler: EXEC sp_executesql N'SELECT otherattributes.* FROM listcontacts JOIN otherattributes ON listcontacts.contactId = otherattributes.contactId WHERE listcontacts.listid = @id ORDER BY name ASC', N'@id INT', @id=1234; ...and this tends to perform as badly as version A.

  So for my programming class we have had a project to create a virtual machine including a memory unit, cpu, Input, Output, Instruction Register, Program Counter, MAR, MDR and so on. Now we need to create a compiler using Java Code that will take a .exe file written in some txt editor and convert it to java byte code and run the code.   Hi All, I have this custom written CMS built on XAMPP. I'm trying to test the same on lighttpd to benchmark the so-called performance gains... but am stuck at the rewrite rules. I use the default rewrite rules of WordPress in my .htaccess which hands all url parsing over to my script as long as there aren't any files or directories same as the URL structure. Here's the code: RewriteBase /somedir/ # Let the Script handle all pretty URLs RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-d RewriteCond %{SCRIPT_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule .* index.php [L] Can anyone please help me translate the same to the lighttpd format? I could only (partially) figure out the last line myself going through the lighty docs ... i.e. url.rewrite-once = ( ".*" => "index.php" ) But that of course won't suffice... If @status_dte < app_date Error Note: @status_dte is a variable stored as the status_dte from table1 However, I want it to throw an error when the EARLIEST status_dte from table 2 with a status_cde of 'Y' is less than the app_dte column in table 1. Keep in mind that this earliest date is not stored anywhere, the history of data changes per customer. Another customer might have the following history. Log_id customer_Id status_dte status_cde 01 002 2010-04-20 N 02 002 2010-04-18 N 03 002 2010-04-19 Y 04 002 2010-04-19 Y Any ideas on how I can approach this?

The problem is that I got "some" images with the class "button-banc" and I want this behaive: When you pass the mouse over, "only the actual image" should jump. The problem is that with the code I posted, every image jumps. How can I achieve this, please help; I want to make a generic way, so that if I add images with the class, they also behaive like that. • Help Auditing in Oracle

  Hello everybody I need some help in auditing in Oracle. We have a database with many tables and we want to be able to audit every change made to any table in any field. So the things we want to have in this audit are: user who modified time of change occurred old value and new value so we started creating the trigger which was supposed to perform the audit for any table but then had issues... As I mentioned before we have so many tables and we cannot go creating a trigger per each table. So the idea is creating a master trigger that can behaves dynamically for any table that fires the trigger. I was trying to do it but no lucky at all....it seems that Oracle restricts the trigger environment just for a table which is declared by code and not dynamically like we want to do. Do you have any idea on how to do this or any other advice for solving this issue? thanks in advance.

  Hi there.. So I have never attempted to use a cookie and was wondering if someone could possibly help me with some functionality I am trying to achieve.. Essentially I have a jQuery function that is fired when a user visits a webpage. What I would like to do is make it to where that animation only plays once.. Possibly leveraging some cookie that would tell it not to play again for x amount of days. I noticed that alot of people having questions about cookies and jQuery have been mentioned the following cookie plugin, but I dont even really know how to leverage it. Any ideas?   Hi All, I am not sure whether it is possible to achieve this kind of implementation in Dot Net. Below are the information Currently we are on an application which is done in COM+, ASP, XSL, XML technologies. It is a multi tier architecture application in which COM+ acts as the BAL. The execution steps for any CRUD operation will be defined using a seperate UI which uses XML to store the information. BAL reads the XML and understands the execution steps which are defined and executes corresponding methods in DLL. Much like EDM we have our custom model (using XML) which determines which property of object is searchable, retrievable etc. Based on this information BAL constructs queries and calls procedures to get the data. In the current application both BAL and DAL are heavily customizable without doing any code change. the results will be transmitted to presentation layer in XML format which constructs the UI based on the data recieved. Now I am creating a migration project which deals with employee information. It is also going to follow the N Tier architecture in which the presentation layer communicates with BAL which connects to DAL to return the Data. Here is the problem, In our existing version we are handling every information as XML in its native form (no converstion of object etc), but in the migration project, Team is really interested in utilizing the OOP model of development where every information which is sent from BAL need to be converted to objects of its respective types (example employeeCollection, Address Collection etc). If we have the static number of data returned from BAL we can have a class which contains those nodes as properties and we can access the same. But in our case the data returned from our BAL need to be customized. How can we handle the customization in presentation layer which is converting the result to an Object. We will not provide the source code for the same. Now when the consultants or customers does customization(example adding country to address and adding passport information object with employee object) they must be able to access those properties in these classes, but without source code they will not be able to do those modifications.which makes the application useless. Is there is any way to acomplish this in DotNet. I thought of using Anonymous classes but, the problem with Anonymous classes are we can not have methods in it. I am not sure how can i fit the collection objects (which will be inturn an anonymous class) Not sure about datagrid / user control binding etc. I also thought of using CODEDom to create classes runtime but not sure about the meory, performance issues. also the classes must be created only once and must use the same till there is another change. Kindly help me out in this problem. Any kind of help meterial/ cryptic code/ links will be helpful.

My MySQL knowledge is rudimentary at best so I could use some guidance on what I should use for the following: I have 2 tables ('bible' and 'books') that I need to search from. Right now I am just searching 'bible' with the following query: SELECT * FROM bible WHERE text LIKE '%" . $query . "%' ORDER BY likes DESC LIMIT $start, 10 Now, I need to add another part that searches for some pretty advanced stuff. Here is what I want to do in pseudocode which I am aware doesn't work: SELECT * FROM bible WHERE books.book+' '+bible.chapter+':'+bible.verse = '$query' $query would equal something like Genesis 1:2, Genesis coming from books.book, 1 coming from bible.chapter and 2 coming from bible.verse Any help/guidance on this is much appreciated =)
