    I upgraded a MVC1 project to MVC2, now all my calls to RenderPartial are throwing System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. However this does works: <% Html.RenderPartial("~/Views/Shared/LogOnUserControl.ascx"); %> And this does not (works in MVC1): <% Html.RenderPartial("LogOnUserControl"); %> Did the behavior of RenderPartial change?

  • jsTree async with preloaded data.

    I am trying to make a tree view be async. When the page is rendered, there is default tree items displayed. jsTree tries to reload the root anyway. I want the page to render (with jsTree init'ed) with default items rendered from browser, not the ajax call. Then we the user tries to go deeper, thats when I want to do do the ajax calls. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

  • What causes this error? "CALayer position contains NaN: [240 nan]"

    I've seen this happen whenever i rotate a screen that has a UITableView on it. I've found out that it happens inbetween the willRotate and didRotate method calls in UIViewController My co-workers have seen it in other spots as well, usually around rotation. It hadnt started happening until very recently, and we're stumped as to how we should deal with it (google searches don't turn up the error message in its exact form). Has anyone else encountered this that knows what to do about it?

    Does anyone know how best to determine the specific underlying cause of this exception? Consider a WCF service that is supposed to use Powershell 2.0 remoting to execute MSBuild on remote machines. In both cases the scripting environments are being called in-process (via C# for Powershell and via Powershell for MSBuild), rather than 'shelling-out' - this was a specific design decision to avoid command-line hell as well as to enable passing actual objects into the Powershell script.   • Wix XmlFile is keeping SqlDatabase from creating databases

    I've got a Wix project made up of several fragments. One of those fragments has the database components, another has a component that manipulates xml files. When I include the XmlFile element to manipulate a file, the databases defined by the SqlDatabase do not get created. If I comment out the XmlFile, then the databases do get created. When looking at the install logs when using XmlFile and when not, they are almost exact copies of each other, except that the SqlDatabase calls would be completely missing, and the XmlFile calls would be in their place. Is there a known bug here? Or am I doing something I shouldn't be? This isn't a killer for our app, since I can move the things I'm putting in the xml file into the registry, but I'd rather not do that. I am using Wix 3.5.

  • binary search tree recursive subtree in java

    Can anyone point me to a code example (java preferably) or psuedocode that uses recursion to return a subtree that contains all nodes with keys between fromKey and toKey. So if I was to call Tree.subtree(5,10) it should return all nodes in the BST that have keys between 5 and 10 inclusive - but I can't use loops or helper methods...only recursive calls to the subtree method, which takes fromKey and toKey as parameters.   • SSIS package randomly hangs during execution

    Hi Guys, I am having an ongoing and painful problem with an SSIS package. The package runs every 5 minutes as an SQL Agent Job and every 2-10 days the package will start running and never stop (thus preventing further executions). If I stop the hung job manually it will begin working perfectly again in the next 5 minute interval. The SSIS package is for moving data from an Oracle database to a MSSQL 2005 database. It has 7 steps: Step 1 calls an Oracle Stored Procedure to prepare the temporary tables inside ORACLE Steps 2-6 process the data from the ORACLE tables to the MSSQL tables ORACLE - MSSQL Step 7 calls an Oracle Stored Procedure to clear the ORACLE temporary tables I suspect that the issue is caused by a communications error between the MSSQL server and the ORACLE server. Both the MSSQL database and Agent/package run on one machine with the ORACLE database running over the network.   • Qt/win: showMaximized() overlapping taskbar on a frameless window

    I'm building an application that has its own custom chrome. I have turned the default window border off by setting the flag: this->setWindowFlags(Qt::FramelessWindowHint); After this flag is set and the default window border is turned off, any calls to: this->showMaximized(); result in a window that takes up the entire screen, overlapping the task bar. Is there a common work around for this or another method I should be calling instead of showMaximized()? Win7/Qt4.6

    Hi! I'd like to access the the google calendar api from a Silverlight client. Problem is that there's no crossdomain or clientaccesspolicy that allows calls from my client at www.google.com/crossdomain.xml Question is: Will a call from a SL running out of browser, and in full trust still be classified as a crossdomain call? Are there any other ways to access the gdata from my SL client? (other than using the server as a proxy) Regards Larsi

    Hi All, I'm trying to create a mysql UDF function , this function calls "fopen/fclose" to read a flat file stored in /data. But using errno (yes, I know it is bad in a MT program...) I can see that the function cannot open my file: "Permission denied" I tried to do a chmod -R 755 /data but it didn't change anything. Any idea ?
