  • substitution of someaddress.com on local desktop computer

    Here is VDS server with ip(for example 105.123.123.123) with working apache service. And there is a desktop computer with linux on board(but really I presume there is no difference). I need to type on web browser address like someaddress.com and to see website situated at my server. My /etc/hosts: 127.0.0.1 localhost 105.123.123.123 someaddress.com 105.123.123.123 www.someaddress.com But it doesn't work. I see real someaddress.com website. What can be wrong. It will be great if you help me with that. P.S. Why I need this. There is one project with fixed links(like someaddress.com/inf). And I need to test it.

    We have all seen countless instances of forms with a select drop down having one of it's options as "Other" and on choosing that option, we get to see a input text box (which was hidden all along) asking us to type in our input. Is there a better way to implement this? Are there plugins out there which will let me do this better? Or are standard HTML elements suffice (some setting to a , may be) ?

Not being a pro I was hunting for some sample code to get a grasp of the flow but I could not. When I am using the API from Google to access spreadsheets, it suggests to use the SpreadsheetService class. try{ SpreadsheetService service = new SpreadsheetService ("MRythm"); service.setUserCredentials("username", "password"); service.getFeed(new URL(""), arg1) }catch(Exception e){ } Now the problem is J2ME or Blackberry does not feature the URL class from java.net library. I am just looking for a sample approach to connect to a Google spreadsheet from Blackberry. Thanks in advance

  • KVM machine does not start ssh, network is started, used to work

    have been searching an pulling my hear out for the last 6 hours. I have a virtual machine that has been running fine for the last six months. I was happy ssh'ing into it and it was running a database and some small apps. Tonight ssh stopped working, so I decided to reboot the machine. I now have the following situation: virsh list --all states machine as running I can ping the machine and get a reply When I ssh to the machine I see "ssh: connect to host [myserver] port 22: Connection refused" nmap does not show port 22 as open I have tried to: - reboot the machine once more (no luck) - mount the filesystem and check /etc/ssh/sshd.conf (has not changed since working situation) - install virsh console, however this does not seem to work When I mount the fs directly using losetup the strange thing is that file dates seem to be frozen in /var/log/ around the time of the crash. If I look in /var/run/ I can see an sshd.pid, but the time is 6 hours ago (and numerous reboots).     I need to be able to reset an input field back to its original color after it has been possibly changed via javascript to a different value. The problem is I do not want to hard code the value obviously in case the stylesheet changes. I would like to use the default color used on the page. I've sent a list of appropriate DNN modules to our client but it may take them forever to get back to me. In the mean time they still submitting requests to us to create redirects for them. if there's no cost involved then i wont have to wait for them to get back to me. so I'm looking for a Quick and free way to enable the clients to set these up on this own.     Hello, A DAS box is attached to my linux box using LSI SCSI HBA. Volume is properly detected on the linux box and filesystem is created using mkfs.ext2 /dev/sdc #No partition table I can not mount the volume using mount/dev/sdc /mnt/temp -t ext3 But I can mount it using mount /dev/sdc /mnt/temp -t ext3 -o loop Can anybody please tell me what "-o loop" option does internally? Ssh, doesn't work.     I have a CWnd Derived object used in a dialog. I need to be able to drag it anywhere in the dialog. I have a code overriding OnNCHitTest for moving a dialog dragging it from a place other than the title bar. Is there any equivalent code to do the same to move this CWnd. The following code isnt working.   • Flash CS5 font is largest part of the SWF

    I'm transferring a project from CS4 to CS5 and (without any changes) my SWF file gets to be 10 times bigger. It was 7kb and now it's 77kb. I generated a size report and it looks like the font is taking up most of the space. I haven't changed settings. I'm not sure why font is taking up so much space. Is there a way around this? Here is my size report: Font Name Bytes Characters ----------------- ---------- ---------- _sans 12 MilkyWell 317 .blsu Calibri-Bold Bold 75960 %.0123456789 As you can see Calibri-Bold is taking up 75kb and I only have 12 characters in it.
