  • Cannot press QPushButton in a simple program

    - by shadyabhi
    Basically, I want a simple pushButton with a colorful text which when pressed exits the application. Why cant I press PushButton in this simple program. I am using QT 4.6 on Arch x86_64. #include <QtGui/QApplication> #include <QLabel> #include <QPushButton> #include<QtGui> int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { QApplication a(argc, argv); QMainWindow *Main=new QMainWindow; QPushButton *button = new QPushButton(Main); QLabel *label = new QLabel(Main); label->setText("<h2><i>Hello</i> ""<font color=red>Qt!</font></h2>"); label->setVisible(true); QObject::connect(button, SIGNAL(clicked()),label, SLOT(clear())); label->setAlignment(Qt::AlignCenter|Qt::AlignVCenter); label->setWindowTitle("HelloWorld Test Program"); Main->show(); return a.exec(); }

  • Resource allocation and automatic deallocation

    - by nabulke
    In my application I got many instances of class CDbaOciNotifier. They all share a pointer to only one instance of class OCIEnv. What I like to achieve is that allocation and deallocation of the resource class OCIEnv will be handled automatically inside class CDbaOciNotifier. The desired behaviour is, with the first instance of class CDbaOciNotifier the environment will be created, after that all following notifiers use that same environment. With the destruction of the last notifier, the environment will be destroyed too (call to custom deleter). What I've got so far (using a static factory method to create notifiers): #pragma once #include <string> #include <memory> #include "boost\noncopyable.hpp" class CDbaOciNotifier : private boost::noncopyable { public: virtual ~CDbaOciNotifier(void); static std::auto_ptr<CDbaOciNotifier> createNotifier(const std::string &tnsName, const std::string &user, const std::string &password); private: CDbaOciNotifier(OCIEnv* envhp); // All notifiers share one environment static OCIEnv* m_ENVHP; // Custom deleter static void freeEnvironment(OCIEnv *env); OCIEnv* m_envhp; }; CPP: #include "DbaOciNotifier.h" using namespace std; OCIEnv* CDbaOciNotifier::m_ENVHP = 0; CDbaOciNotifier::~CDbaOciNotifier(void) { } CDbaOciNotifier::CDbaOciNotifier(OCIEnv* envhp) :m_envhp(envhp) { } void CDbaOciNotifier::freeEnvironment(OCIEnv *env) { OCIHandleFree((dvoid *) env, (ub4) OCI_HTYPE_ENV); *env = null; } auto_ptr<CDbaOciNotifier> CDbaOciNotifier::createNotifier(const string &tnsName, const string &user, const string &password) { if(!m_ENVHP) { OCIEnvCreate( (OCIEnv **) &m_ENVHP, OCI_EVENTS|OCI_OBJECT, (dvoid *)0, (dvoid * (*)(dvoid *, size_t)) 0, (dvoid * (*)(dvoid *, dvoid *, size_t))0, (void (*)(dvoid *, dvoid *)) 0, (size_t) 0, (dvoid **) 0 ); } //shared_ptr<OCIEnv> spEnvhp(m_ENVHP, freeEnvironment); ...got so far... return auto_ptr<CDbaOciNotifier>(new CDbaOciNotifier(m_ENVHP)); } I'd like to avoid counting references (notifiers) myself, and use something like shared_ptr. Do you see an easy solution to my problem?

  • why does vector.size() read in one line too little?

    - by ace
    when running the following code, the amount of lines will read on less then there actually is (if the input file is main itself, or otherwise) why is this and how can i change that fact (besides for just adding 1)? #include <fstream> #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <vector> using namespace std; int main() { // open text file for input string file_name; cout << "please enter file name: "; cin >> file_name; // associate the input file stream with a text file ifstream infile(file_name.c_str()); // error checking for a valid filename if ( !infile ) { cerr << "Unable to open file " << file_name << " -- quitting!\n"; return( -1 ); } else cout << "\n"; // some data structures to perform the function vector<string> lines_of_text; string textline; // read in text file, line by line while (getline( infile, textline, '\n' )) { // add the new element to the vector lines_of_text.push_back( textline ); // print the 'back' vector element - see the STL documentation cout << "line read: " << lines_of_text.back() << "\n"; } cout<<lines_of_text.size(); return 0; }

  • Session in php are not enough clear to me

    - by Lulzim
    I find sessions in php kind of confusing, can anybody of you explain those to me. I have an example which is not working in my case: I register sessions this way, would you please tell me is this the right way of registering sessions //this is the page from where i register myusername in sessions if($count==1){ session_start(); $_SESSION['myusername'] = $_POST['myusername']; include("enterpincover.php"); } else { echo "Wrong Pin"; } here i check first whether the username is registered in sessions in oder to open his account , otherwise open again login. It works, if user is not loged in, it will show login page which is right, if user is loged it shows welcome message but not the Welcome the name of the user as I want. for ex: Welcome David <?php session_start(); if(isset($_SESSION['myusername'])) { echo 'Welcome '.$_SESSION['myusername']; } else { include("leftmodules.php"); include("rightmodules.php"); include("login.php"); } ?>

  • Receiving "expected expression before" Error When Using A Struct

    - by Zach Dziura
    I'm in the process of creating a simple 2D game engine in C with a group of friends at school. I'd like to write this engine in an Object-Oriented way, using structs as classes, function pointers as methods, etc. To emulate standard OOP syntax, I created a create() function which allocates space in memory for the object. I'm in the process of testing it out, and I'm receiving an error. Here is my code for two files that I'm using to test: test.c: #include <stdio.h> int main() { typedef struct { int i; } Class; Class *test = (Class*) create(Class); test->i = 1; printf("The value of \"test\" is: %i\n", test->i); return 0; } utils.c: #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include "utils.h" void* create(const void* class) { void *obj = (void*) malloc(sizeof(class)); if (obj == 0) { printf("Error allocating memory.\n"); return (int*) -1; } else { return obj; } } void destroy(void* object) { free(object); } The utils.h file simply holds prototypes for the create() and destroy() functions. When I execute gcc test.c utils.c -o test, I'm receiving this error message: test.c: In function 'main': test.c:10:32: error: expected expression before 'Class' I know it has something to do with my typedef at the beginning, and how I'm probably not using proper syntax. But I have no idea what that proper syntax is. Can anyone help?

  • Different output between release and Debug

    - by AthomSfere
    I can't figure this one out. I have a c++ Application that works in Debug mode exactly as expected: #include "stdafx.h" #include <string> #include <Windows.h> #include <iostream> using namespace std; void truncateServer(std::string inString); int _tmain(int argc, char *argv[]) { char* server = argv[1]; truncateServer(server); } void truncateServer(std::string inString) { std::string server = ""; int whackCount = 0; for (unsigned int i = 0; i < inString.length(); i++) { char c = inString[i]; if (whackCount < 3) { if (c == '\\') whackCount++; else server += c; } } cout << server; } For example if I call the server I want via its UNC path \\serverName\Share\ in the debug it gives me exactly what I want: servername However, if I use the release build I get nothing: I deleted the release output folder, but the issue is exactly the same. I can only assume there is some other difference between the release and build applications that is exposing a major issue with my code? Or another difference between the outputs I need to account for. What do I need to do to get the expected output?

  • Know the row with max characters (C)

    - by l_core
    I have wrote a program in C, to find the row with the max number of characters. Here is the code #include <stdio.h> #include <stdlib.h> #include <ctype.h> #include <string.h> int main (int argc, char *argv[]) { char c; /* used to store the character with getc */ int c_tot = 0, c_rig = 0, c_max = 0; /* counters of characters*/ int r_tot = 0; /* counters of rows */ FILE *fptr; fptr = fopen(argv[1], "r"); if (fptr == NULL || argc != 2) { printf ("Error opening the file %s\n'", argv[1]); exit(EXIT_FAILURE); } while ( (c = getc(fptr)) != EOF) { if (c != ' ' && c != '\n') { c_tot++; c_rig++; } if (c == '\n') { r_tot++; if (c_rig > c_max) c_max = c_rig; c_rig = 0; } } printf ("Total rows: %d\n", r_tot); printf ("Total characters: %d\n", c_tot); printf ("Total characters in a row: %d\n", c_max); printf ("Average number of characters on a row: %d\n", (c_tot/r_tot)); printf ("The row with max characters is: %s\n", ??????) return 0; } I can easily find the row with the highest number of characters but how can i print that out? Thank You Folks

  • boost::function & boost::lambda - call site invocation & accessing _1 and _2 as the type

    - by John Dibling
    Sorry for the confusing title. Let me explain via code: #include <string> #include <boost\function.hpp> #include <boost\lambda\lambda.hpp> #include <iostream> int main() { using namespace boost::lambda; boost::function<std::string(std::string, std::string)> f = _1.append(_2); std::string s = f("Hello", "There"); std::cout << s; return 0; } I'm trying to use function to create a function that uses the labda expressions to create a new return value, and invoke that function at the call site, s = f("Hello", "There"); When I compile this, I get: 1>------ Build started: Project: hacks, Configuration: Debug x64 ------ 1>Compiling... 1>main.cpp 1>.\main.cpp(11) : error C2039: 'append' : is not a member of 'boost::lambda::lambda_functor<T>' 1> with 1> [ 1> T=boost::lambda::placeholder<1> 1> ] Using MSVC 9. My fundamental understanding of function and lambdas may be lacking. The tutorials and docs did not help so far this morning. How do I do what I'm trying to do?

  • fgets throwing unhandled exception while parsing stl

    - by user3478400
    I am new to c++, I am trying to parse a stl file which is of about 64MB and has about ~18K lines in it. The code works fine for first few 100 lines but then fgets throws following exception: "Unhandled exception at 0x77B0BAC5 (ntdll.dll) in STLparser.exe: 0xC0000024: There is a mismatch between the type of object required by the requested operation and the type of object that is specified in the request." I have checked manually the line for which fgets throws exception, there is nothing out of ordinary there. I am out of options for now. Any help to fix this issue will be greatly appreciated. ================CODE========================== #include<fstream> #include<iostream> #include"ParseString.h" #include"Vectors.h" using namespace std; int main(void) { //Define variables FILE *file; char *line = new char; parsestring oneline; int n_Vols = 0, n_Elms = 0, n_nods = -1, E = 0; Nod *nodes = new Nod(); Nod dummy; Elm *elements = new Elm(); int mycounter = 0; //Open file fopen_s(&file, "sample.stl", "r"); while (fgets(line, 1024, file) != NULL) //**********Getting Error Here************* { // populate required data } fclose(file); printf("%d,%d,%d", n_Vols, n_Elms, n_nods); getchar(); return 0; } ===================When broken, execution resumes at this function (not my function, something internal) void __cdecl _unlock ( int locknum ) { /* * leave the critical section. */ LeaveCriticalSection( _locktable[locknum].lock ); }

  • Difference between the address space of parent process and its child process in Linux?

    - by abbas1707
    Hi, I am confused about it. I have read that when a child is created by a parent process, child gets a copy of its parent's address space. What it means here by copy? If i use code below, then it prints same addresses of variable 'a' which is on heap in all cases. i.e in case of child and parent. So what is happening here? #include <sys/types.h> #include <stdio.h> #include <unistd.h> #include <stdlib.h> int main () { pid_t pid; int *a = (int *)malloc(4); printf ("heap pointer %p\n", a); pid = fork(); if (pid < 0) { fprintf (stderr, "Fork Failed"); exit(-1); } else if (pid == 0) { printf ("Child\n"); printf ("in child heap pointer %p\n", a); } else { wait (NULL); printf ("Child Complete\n"); printf ("in parent heap pointer %p\n", a); exit(0); } }

  • C++ - Creating a god object

    - by Greg Kritzman
    Hypothetical situation that I'm struggling to get my head past. HoldsFooBar.h: #include "foo.h" #include "bar.h" class HoldsFooBar{ foo F; bar B; }; foo.h: //includes? class foo{ HoldsFooBar *H; void Baz(); }; bar.h: //includes? class bar{ HoldsFooBar *H; void Qux(); }; I'm trying to get F to get a hold of B. In all other languages I've worked with, I would be able to H->B.Qux();, but I'm totally lost in C++. At the includes lines in foo.h and bar.h, it seems like my options are to forward-declare class HoldsFooBar; but then I can only access H, and F and B cannot see each other. Likewise, I can #include "HoldsFooBar.h" but because of my include guards, something ends up not getting linked properly, so the program doesn't run. Is what I'm trying to do even possible? Thank you very much! Any help would be appreciated!

  • Eclipc java,writting a program [closed]

    - by ghassar
    I have an important exercise for that i found in the internet please i need help in using eclipc java thanks i have to design, implement, test and document a Java program (a set of classes) for one of the following problem specifications: Problem 1 – Jubilee Estate Agency Property Management System A local Estate Agent would like a prototype system to keep track of properties that are offered for sale. The Estate Agent sells domestic and commercial properties. You will need to define classes that represent the Estate Agency System. You should design your system and the classes that you will need before starting coding. Your system must have a graphical user interface and be designed and developed using the object-oriented principles of the MVC architecture design pattern i.e. the user interface class must be separate from the other classes. The initial basic requirements for the system are as follows: • Include a list of domestic properties for sale that include details of: address, description, selling price, and number of rooms • Include a list of commercial properties for sale that include details of: address, description, selling price, and area in square metres • Enable the properties that are for sale to be viewed on the screen • Allow the customer to select one or more properties to be placed on a ‘viewing list’ so that the properties can be visited in person • Display on the screen the viewing list that shows the details of the properties chosen • Provide a basic search facility to find properties that are for sale in a particular price band and display the results • Enable a property to be marked as sold

  • UppercuT &ndash; Custom Extensions Now With PowerShell and Ruby

    - by Robz / Fervent Coder
    Arguably, one of the most powerful features of UppercuT (UC) is the ability to extend any step of the build process with a pre, post, or replace hook. This customization is done in a separate location from the build so you can upgrade without wondering if you broke the build. There is a hook before each step of the build has run. There is a hook after. And back to power again, there is a replacement hook. If you don’t like what the step is doing and/or you want to replace it’s entire functionality, you just drop a custom replacement extension and UppercuT will perform the custom step instead. Up until recently all custom hooks had to be written in NAnt. Now they are a little sweeter because you no longer need to use NAnt to extend UC if you don’t want to. You can use PowerShell. Or Ruby.   Let that sink in for a moment. You don’t have to even need to interact with NAnt at all now. Extension Points On the wiki, all of the extension points are shown. The basic idea is that you would put whatever customization you are doing in a separate folder named build.custom. Each step Let’s take a look at all we can customize: The start point is default.build. It calls build.custom/default.pre.build if it exists, then it runs build/default.build (normal tasks) OR build.custom/default.replace.build if it exists, and finally build.custom/default.post.build if it exists. Every step below runs with the same extension points but changes on the file name it is looking for. NOTE: If you include default.replace.build, nothing else will run because everything is called from default.build.    * policyChecks.step    * versionBuilder.step NOTE: If you include build.custom/versionBuilder.replace.step, the items below will not run.      - svn.step, tfs.step, or git.step (the custom tasks for these need to go in build.custom/versioners)    * generateBuildInfo.step    * compile.step    * environmentBuilder.step    * analyze.step NOTE: If you include build.custom/analyze.replace.step, the items below will not run.      - test.step (the custom tasks for this need to go in build.custom/analyzers) NOTE: If you include build.custom/analyzers/test.replace.step, the items below will not run.        + mbunit2.step, gallio.step, or nunit.step (the custom tasks for these need to go in build.custom/analyzers)      - ncover.step (the custom tasks for this need to go in build.custom/analyzers)      - ndepend.step (the custom tasks for this need to go in build.custom/analyzers)      - moma.step (the custom tasks for this need to go in build.custom/analyzers)    * package.step NOTE: If you include build.custom/package.replace.step, the items below will not run.      - deploymentBuilder.step Customize UppercuT Builds With PowerShell UppercuT can now be extended with PowerShell (PS). To customize any extension point with PS, just add .ps1 to the end of the file name and write your custom tasks in PowerShell. If you are not signing your scripts you will need to change a setting in the UppercuT.config file. This does impose a security risk, because this allows PS to now run any PS script. This setting stays that way on ANY machine that runs the build until manually changed by someone. I’m not responsible if you mess up your machine or anyone else’s by doing this. You’ve been warned. Now that you are fully aware of any security holes you may open and are okay with that, let’s move on. Let’s create a file called default.replace.build.ps1 in the build.custom folder. Open that file in notepad and let’s add this to it: write-host "hello - I'm a custom task written in Powershell!" Now, let’s run build.bat. You could get some PSake action going here. I won’t dive into that in this post though. Customize UppercuT Builds With Ruby If you want to customize any extension point with Ruby, just add .rb to the end of the file name and write your custom tasks in Ruby.  Let’s write a custom ruby task for UC. If you were thinking it would be the same as the one we just wrote for PS, you’d be right! In the build.custom folder, lets create a file called default.replace.build.rb. Open that file in notepad and let’s put this in there: puts "I'm a custom ruby task!" Now, let’s run build.bat again. That’s chunky bacon. UppercuT and Albacore.NET Just for fun, I wanted to see if I could replace the compile.step with a Rake task. Not just any rake task, Albacore’s msbuild task. Albacore is a suite of rake tasks brought about by Derick Bailey to make building .NET with Rake easier. It has quite a bit of support with developers that are using Rake to build code. In my build.custom folder, I drop a compile.replace.step.rb. I also put in a separate file that will contain my Albacore rake task and I call that compile.rb. What are the contents of compile.replace.step.rb? rake = 'rake' arguments= '-f ' + Dir.pwd + '/../build.custom/compile.rb' #puts "Calling #{rake} " + arguments system("#{rake} " + arguments) Since the custom extensions call ruby, we have to shell back out and call rake. That’s what we are doing here. We also realize that ruby is called from the build folder, so we need to back out and dive into the build.custom folder to find the file that is technically next to us. We change the output path to the build_output/UppercuT folder. The output path has “../../” because this is based on every project. We could grab the current directory and then point the task specifically to a folder if we have projects that are at different levels. We want the verbosity to be quiet so we set that as well. So what kind of output do you get for this? Let’s run build.bat custom_tasks_replace:      [echo] Running custom tasks instead of normal tasks if C:\code\uppercut\build\..\build.custom\compile.replace.step exists.      [exec] (in C:/code/uppercut/build)      [exec] Using Ruby to compile UppercuT with Albacore Tasks      [exec] Microsoft (R) Build Engine Version 3.5.30729.4926      [exec] [Microsoft .NET Framework, Version 2.0.50727.4927]      [exec] Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 2007. • Anonymous exposes sensitive bank emails

    - by martin.abrahams
    As expected for quite a while, emails purporting to reveal alleged naughtiness at a major bank have been released today. A bank spokesman says "We are confident that his extravagant assertions are untrue". The BBC report concludes…  “Firms are increasingly concerned about the prospect of disgruntled staff taking caches of sensitive e-mails with them when they leave, said Rami Habal, of security firm Proofpoint. "You can't do anything about people copying the content," he said. But firms can put measures in place, such as revoking encryption keys, which means stolen e-mails become unreadable, he added.” Actually, there is something you can do to guard against copying. While traditional encryption lets authorised recipients make unprotected copies long before you revoke the keys, Oracle IRM provides encryption AND guards against unprotected copies being made. Recipients can be authorised to save protected copies, and cut-and-paste within the scope of a protected workflow or email thread – but can be prevented from saving unprotected copies or pasting to unprotected files and emails.  The IRM audit trail would also help track down attempts to open the protected emails and documents by unauthorised individuals within or beyond your perimeter.

  • Struct Method for Loops Problem

    - by Annalyne
    I have tried numerous times how to make a do-while loop using the float constructor for my code but it seems it does not work properly as I wanted. For summary, I am making a TBRPG in C++ and I encountered few problems. But before that, let me post my code. #include <iostream> #include <string> #include <ctime> #include <cstdlib> using namespace std; int char_level = 1; //the starting level of the character. string town; //town string town_name; //the name of the town the character is in. string charname; //holds the character's name upon the start of the game int gems = 0; //holds the value of the games the character has. const int MAX_ITEMS = 15; //max items the character can carry string inventory [MAX_ITEMS]; //the inventory of the character in game int itemnum = 0; //number of items that the character has. bool GameOver = false; //boolean intended for the game over scr. string monsterTroop [] = {"Slime", "Zombie", "Imp", "Sahaguin, Hounds, Vampire"}; //monster name float monsterTroopHealth [] = {5.0f, 10.0f, 15.0f, 20.0f, 25.0f}; // the health of the monsters int monLifeBox; //life carrier of the game's enemy troops int enemNumber; //enemy number //inventory[itemnum++] = "Sword"; class RPG_Game_Enemy { public: void enemyAppear () { srand(time(0)); enemNumber = 1+(rand()%3); if (enemNumber == 1) cout << monsterTroop[1]; //monster troop 1 else if (enemNumber == 2) cout << monsterTroop[2]; //monster troop 2 else if (enemNumber == 3) cout << monsterTroop[3]; //monster troop 3 else if (enemNumber == 4) cout << monsterTroop[4]; //monster troop 4 } void enemDefeat () { cout << "The foe has been defeated. You are victorious." << endl; } void enemyDies() { //if the enemy dies: //collapse declaration cout << "The foe vanished and you are victorious!" << endl; } }; class RPG_Scene_Battle { public: RPG_Scene_Battle(float ini_health) : health (ini_health){}; float getHealth() { return health; } void setHealth(float rpg_val){ health = rpg_val;}; private: float health; }; //---------------------------------------------------------------// // Conduct Damage for the Scene Battle's Damage //---------------------------------------------------------------// float conductDamage(RPG_Scene_Battle rpg_tr, float damage) { rpg_tr.setHealth(rpg_tr.getHealth() - damage); return rpg_tr.getHealth(); }; // ------------------------------------------------------------- // void RPG_Scene_DisplayItem () { cout << "Items: \n"; for (int i=0; i < itemnum; ++i) cout << inventory[i] <<endl; }; In this code I have so far, the problem I have is the battle scene. For example, the player battles a Ghost with 10 HP, when I use a do while loop to subtract the HP of the character and the enemy, it only deducts once in the do while. Some people said I should use a struct, but I have no idea how to make it. Is there a way someone can display a code how to implement it on my game? Edit: I made the do-while by far like this: do RPG_Scene_Battle (player, 20.0f); RPG_Scene_Battle (enemy, 10.0f); cout << "Battle starts!" <<endl; cout << "You used a blade skill and deducted 2 hit points to the enemy!" conductDamage (enemy, 2.0f); while (enemy!=0) also, I made something like this: #include <iostream> using namespace std; int gems = 0; class Entity { public: Entity(float startingHealth) : health(startingHealth){}; // initialize health float getHealth(){return health;} void setHealth(float value){ health = value;}; private: float health; }; float subtractHealthFrom(Entity& ent, float damage) { ent.setHealth(ent.getHealth() - damage); return ent.getHealth(); }; int main () { Entity character(10.0f); Entity enemy(10.0f); cout << "Hero Life: "; cout << subtractHealthFrom(character, 2.0f) <<endl; cout << "Monster Life: "; cout << subtractHealthFrom(enemy, 2.0f) <<endl; cout << "Hero Life: "; cout << subtractHealthFrom(character, 2.0f) <<endl; cout << "Monster Life: "; cout << subtractHealthFrom(enemy, 2.0f) <<endl; }; Struct method, they say, should solve this problem. How can I continously deduct hp from the enemy? Whenever I deduct something, it would return to its original value -_-

  • How can I render multiple windows with DirectX 9 in C++?

    - by Friso1990
    I'm trying to render multiple windows, using DirectX 9 and swap chains, but even though I create 2 windows, I only see the first one that I've created. My RendererDX9 header is this: #include <d3d9.h> #include <Windows.h> #include <vector> #include "RAT_Renderer.h" namespace RAT_ENGINE { class RAT_RendererDX9 : public RAT_Renderer { public: RAT_RendererDX9(); ~RAT_RendererDX9(); void Init(RAT_WindowManager* argWMan); void CleanUp(); void ShowWin(); private: LPDIRECT3D9 renderInterface; // Used to create the D3DDevice LPDIRECT3DDEVICE9 renderDevice; // Our rendering device LPDIRECT3DSWAPCHAIN9* swapChain; // Swapchain to make multi-window rendering possible WNDCLASSEX wc; std::vector<HWND> hwindows; void Render(int argI); }; } And my .cpp file is this: #include "RAT_RendererDX9.h" static LRESULT CALLBACK MsgProc( HWND hWnd, UINT msg, WPARAM wParam, LPARAM lParam ); namespace RAT_ENGINE { RAT_RendererDX9::RAT_RendererDX9() : renderInterface(NULL), renderDevice(NULL) { } RAT_RendererDX9::~RAT_RendererDX9() { } void RAT_RendererDX9::Init(RAT_WindowManager* argWMan) { wMan = argWMan; // Register the window class WNDCLASSEX windowClass = { sizeof( WNDCLASSEX ), CS_CLASSDC, MsgProc, 0, 0, GetModuleHandle( NULL ), NULL, NULL, NULL, NULL, "foo", NULL }; wc = windowClass; RegisterClassEx( &wc ); for (int i = 0; i< wMan->getWindows().size(); ++i) { HWND hWnd = CreateWindow( "foo", argWMan->getWindow(i)->getName().c_str(), WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW, argWMan->getWindow(i)->getX(), argWMan->getWindow(i)->getY(), argWMan->getWindow(i)->getWidth(), argWMan->getWindow(i)->getHeight(), NULL, NULL, wc.hInstance, NULL ); hwindows.push_back(hWnd); } // Create the D3D object, which is needed to create the D3DDevice. renderInterface = (LPDIRECT3D9)Direct3DCreate9( D3D_SDK_VERSION ); // Set up the structure used to create the D3DDevice.
