  • WordPress - moving from one host to another

    I am trying to move a WordPress installation from one server to another one, including all of the SQL data, and the file-system data (photos,template files). I just have a problem changing the URLs in the database, since I need to replace the new URL with the old one. I would love to have some suggestions about how can I replace the URLs (maybe there's a rplace statement in SQL?) Thanks in advance.

  • Could someone explain hash tag usage for deeplinking ajax applications?

There seems to be a distinct lack of reading material on the web regarding this technique and as such I don't feel like I've got a good handle on it.     I'm trying to internally redirect all requests to index.php and externally redirect all requests that contain index.php using a .htaccess file. So URLs like http://host/test should be processed by index.php and URLs like http://host/index.php/test should be redirected to http://host/test and then processed by index.php (without redirecting the browser to index.php) I tried the following but always get a message "Too many redirects...": RewriteRule ^index\.php/?(.*)$ /$1 [R,L] RewriteRule .* index.php/$0 [L]

    How can I go about redirecting my old URLs which would have been: http:// blah.com/some/post/name to the new URLs which would be: http:// blah.com/new/some/post/name Is this even possible? I don't want to simply redirect any requests for the blah.com domain to blah.com/new I want to make sure the subpath is still attached to the redirect

  • How to test custom handler500?

    I write my handler for server errors and define it at root urls.py: handler500 = 'myhandler' And I want to write unittest for testing how it works. For testing I write view with error and define it in test URLs configuration, when I make request to this view in browser I see my handler and receive status code 500, but when I launch test that make request to this view I see stack trace and my test failed. Have you some ideas for testing handler500 by unittests?

I'm trying to get my URLs to look like this: /Corporate/Users/Edit/1 /Corporate/Stores/Edit/17 /Corporate/Contacts/Edit/17 /Store/Contacts/Create /Store/Products/Edit/29 Pretty much like plain-vanilla urls, except with a user type at the front. I'm running into a lot of problems with duplicate controller names, etc. Is there a simple way to do this? I looked briefly at Areas, but this seemed way to complicated.

    I'm coding a script that takes one csv file to transform it into another one. Basically, two foreach loops are used: one to iterate records and another to iterate fields.     Is it possible to add an effect to a datagrid when I call invalidatelist to update the data? If it can be done, can the effects be selectively applied to only certain cells in the grid? The grid is showing an array with some nested array in it. I'm using an int counter to keep track of the nested array element position. When the counter is advanced, I tell the grid to update using invalidatelist.

    I want to make sure all of my flatpages have the "www" subdomain and redirect to it if they don't. I've looked at some middlewares that redirect to www, but 1. they usually redirect all urls to www and 2. the ones I've found don't work with flatpages. I don't want all of my site urls to redirect to include the www subdomian, just the flatpages. Anyone know how I should go about doing this? Thanks
