  • How do I get the cursor back in VS2010rc winforms designer after drawing controlls?

    Not sure if this is a bug or if i'm just missing something but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get my cursor back in the winforms designer in visual studio 2010. I opened up an existing project and added a group box, now my cursor is stuck drawing group boxes. I just want the simple pointer cursor back but nothing I do seems to bring it back. I almost expected it to be on the toolbox under "Cursor" but its not.

  • Can I import another users calendar into Outlook 2010 and maintain his color highlights?

    I am importing a colleagues complete Outlook 2010 calendar (sent by mail as .ics file). However, all coloring is lost: categories, automatically formatted entries, etc. are not visualized in my colleagues colors - just in a non-distinguishable standard office style.     I've recently begun using Notepad++, and have found a part of its styling functionality that confuses me. I'm currently attempting to color all of PHP's defined functions (such as count(), strlen(), etc.). In the Settings-Style Configurator, you cannot add a new style for such a function list. Instead, I have begun editing the stylers.xml and langs.xml. To add the new coloring, in langs.xml, I've modified the php section to the following: <Language name="php" ext="php php3 phtml" commentLine="//" commentStart="/*" commentEnd="*/"> <Keywords name="instre1">[default keywords]</Keywords> <Keywords name="instre2">[my function list]</Keywords> </Language> The [default keywords] and [my function list] are replaced with wordlists. When I restart Notepad++ and go into the Settings-Style Configurator section, under the php language, the FUNCTIONS style exists. I can change the style's color, and can see the entire keyword list under 'Default Keywords'. However, it is not changing the coloring of the words in my code. When I edit the WORD style, which contains stuff like 'if', 'and', and 'true', things change accordingly in my code. Any ideas on how to make this work?

  • asp.net, how to change text color to red in child nodes in VB codes?

    I got everything worked now by list of server Name but I want to add a IF statement by checking a column from SQL Server called Compliance by either True or False value listed. If it False, the Name will change text color to Red. If it True, the Name won't change text color. I am not sure how add that in VB codes side.   • How do I determine if a terminal is color-capable?

    I would like to change a program to automatically detect whether a terminal is color-capable or not, so when I run said program from within a non-color capable terminal (say M-x shell in (X)Emacs), color is automatically turned off. I don't want to hardcode the program to detect TERM={emacs,dumb}. I am thinking that termcap/terminfo should be able to help with this, but so far I've only managed to cobble together this (n)curses-using snippet of code, which fails badly when it can't find the terminal: #include <stdlib.h> #include <curses.h> int main(void) { int colors=0; initscr(); start_color(); colors=has_colors() ? 1 : 0; endwin(); printf(colors ?   • how can i have a working dropdownlist with links from a csv in php

    I have a website that loads a CSV, divides it into parts, and shows these parts. There are 7 parts, and since it is for a music store it is sliced like this: the name of the product the subname the price the stock in one shop the stock of the other shop the group name the brandname What i have now is that it shows 12 products on 1 page, with a next and previous link on top of the page. The pages are made with the group name, every group has it's own page, so you have a drums page, guitar page, speaker page. That all works great. What i programmed in there is a dropdownlist, it drops down a list of brandnames, which should narrow the search for a person who is looking at the products. Problem is right now, that the dropdown menu works, i see the brands, but they are NONE clickable, only the brands that are currently on the page are shown, so NOT all the brands from that group are shown, only the 12 that are currently showing, when you press next, it shows 12 more brands, but i want them to be shown right on the start. And the third problem is, when it is showing the brands, it shows them double or triple, depending on how many products have the same brand.   • how to set a fixed color bar for pcolor in python matplotlib?

    I am using pcolor with a custom color map to plot a matrix of values. I set my color map so that low values are white and high values are red, as shown below. All of my matrices have values between 0 and 20 (inclusive) and I'd like 20 to always be pure red and 0 to always be pure white, even if the matrix has values that don't span the entire range. For example, if my matrix only has values between 2 and 7, I don't want it to plot 2 as white and 7 as red, but rather color it as if the range is still 0 to 20. How can I do this? I tried using the "ticks=" option of colorbar but it did not work. Create a component that let you draw it like you want. Buy expensive component set that draws like you want. Do not use themes. OK, but I am still unhappy with that. Giving a user colored feedback for the status of a property/data he has on a form, seems legitimate to me. Then I just installed the MSVC# 2008 Express edition, and what a surprise, they can change the color of the font (property ForeColor of the check box) Then what? It does not seem to be a "it's designed like that, by Microsoft." then now the question again: How can I change the font color of a TCheckBox (or any handled control) with Delphi 7 through Delphi 2007 on a theme-enabled application?
