  • current page highlights on child pages

    Im trying to achieve current page highlights on wordpress similar to this site Alex Soth. I'm very nearly there with my css. At present i have current page highlights on pages, ie. home,calendar, projects. However when it come to current page highlights on child pages i have a problem. the indented child page list appears on hover when selecting a child page, but after page selection the menu reverts back to the standard pages menu with no visible child menus? unlike the link to the Alex Soth site where the extended menu stays and current page is highlighted I know that the answer will be a simple piece of css involving current_page_item and possible position:relative to obtain the menu staying visible after selection. But i can for the life of me work it out.   • How can I change the color of build output in a shell window?

    I have a build process which runs from a batch file. It produces a large volume of text. Sometimes it prints the word "Error" or "Warning" followed by a message. The errors and warnings are getting lost among a sea of text. Can I highlight those words in a different color, maybe in a dos window, or a cygwin shell window, possibly by piping them through some string manipulation program before posting them to the screen?     I followed a tutorial on how to install and get VNCserver to run on CentOS 6 (since freenx isnt supported yet) and I keep getting Starting VNC server: 1:user [FAILED] How do I figure out whats going on here?   • Outlook Signature Broken in Entourage

    Some of our company uses Windows with Outlook 2010, and the rest use Mac with Entourage. When our standard signature line is included in an email that goes to Entourage, the result does not display correctly. It appears that Entourage is mangling the HTML. My working theory is that Entourage encounters inline CSS styles it does not know about and stops processing styles, but I'm really not sure. Question: How can I enter a signature into Outlook 2010 that will render correctly in Entourage? For example, can I specify somehow the exact HTML to use? Here's an example of how the HTML is being changed.   • NPE when drawing TabWidget in android (only on HTC Magic?)

    I've received report from the user of an app I've written that he gets FC whenever starting a certain activity. I have not been able to reproduce the issue on the emulator or on my HTC Hero (running 1.5), but this user running HTC Magic (with 1.6) is facing this error every time.   • sIFR3: controlling a and a:hover styles inside replaced through CSS rather than JS

    For graceful degrading and minimal coding for the sIFR feature on my websites I would want to define styles in CSS as much as possible. Here's what I do: Define a H3 tag to be replaced by sIFR3. H3 comes in varying colors by CSS depending on it's container, say body.blue-txt h3{ color: #009CDA; } body.white-txt h3{ color: #FFFFFF; } body.etc... H3 might contain an anchor (I'm aware of semantical issues, but that's just how it is ... sorry) With setting sIFR.useStyleCheck = true; sIFR3 will show replaced normal H3 text with correct color, but when it contains a link, it shows the Flash default #0000FF .... All fine; I can tweak e.g. blue text in sifr-config.js by using the css-parameter for sIFR.replace(): sIFR.replace(futura, { selector: 'body.blue-txt h3', css: 'a {color: #009CDA; }, a:hover { color: #009CDA; text-decoration: underline; }' }); But that would have to be coded for every single text-color in my sIFR replacements in both JS and CSS. So I would want to make the sIFR.useStyleCheck setting just respect the CSS in sifr-config.css like: body.blue-txt h3{ color: #009CDA; } body.blue-txt h3 a{ color: #009CDA; } body.blue-txt h3 a:hover{ color: #009CDA; text-decoration: underline; } Only this doesn't seem to work ... the link text keeps popping up as #0000FF and the hover is not underlined. Is this just Not A Feature (Yet), or am doing something wrong?

  • How to change the margin of code's frame of showexpl.sty when numbers=none?

    Hi all, I want to align the code's frame with the formated text's frame. If the numbers=left,the mission is accomplished by configuring xleftmargin, xrightmargin, framesep, and numbersep. However, when I set numbers=none, I cannot accomplish my mission by configuring those properties. Regardless of the values set to those properties, the code's frame remains unchanged and expands beyond the \textwidth. Please see my code snippet below.
